I mean, it's a printer. When it works, it's a good one. A few times a week, it'll go non-responsive, wherein we can't print to it from any of our computers. Sometimes turning it off and back on again fixes it. Sometimes not. Stuff clears our workstations' print queues, and then does not print. Then, suddenly, hours later, it'll all print. Onto checks, if that's what's in the printer. Or checks onto plain paper. It's a mess. Do not buy.

This thing is a workhorse. It's quick and acurate. Network integration was simple with one ethernet cord. once attached to the network everything could see the printer with minimal setup from my iphone to my pc in another room. It does everything well from color to both side printing. The secondary feed draw is great and feeds wonderfuly. This will be a solid part of my office for years to come.

This printer is good for a home office or small business. The print quality is great even for color documents. The printer is quiet and doesn't take up a lot of small. We did have a difficult time connecting the printer to the internet, because we believed the printer had a wireless internet adapter, it doesn't. You will have to use a wireless adapter or an Ethernet cord to connect the printer to the internet. Also, we wish we had selected a printer with touchscreen capabilities.

We are brand new owners of a small consulting business and this printer is really great for our needs. It's a huge step up from our old inkjets, works lightning fast and we get a quality print every single time. No more printer telling us "I won't print your black and white job because I'm out of magenta!" The one small thing that was annoying to me was that it does NOT come wi-fi ready, and you'll have to procure and use an adapter to use without being hardwired. We had one laying around, so it was no big deal, but that could be a huge annoyance to someone wanting to set up and go right away and finding a missing part. We like to print from all sorts of devices including phones, and the printer has oodles of options to choose from. It has easy to find and use trays, and in a month of using it, I haven't had a single jam or botched job. I'm very impressed by it. The single touch and press wheel to get to all the menus is nice, makes the printer look streamlined and neat. It's a great printer and I anticipate it lasting and serving our needs for a long time.

I am overall very happy with this printer. It prints really well and the colors are nice and vibrant. It has upped my crafting game with the quality of the images over my inkjet printer. It prints quickly and takes no time to print large amounts. My only complaint is that it is not wifi compatible and as my router is in another room, I did have to purchase an adapter to set it up in my home office.

After using my new HP Color Pro 4201dn now for a few weeks, I can't stop raving to my coworkers and friends about it. Not only does it print blank and white copies very fast, the color quality on my color prints are spectacular. The setup was nice and easy, and I love the modern sleek look. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who is looking to replace/upgrade their old printer.

This printer is definitely one for power users or a relatively small business. Very crisp printing but a bit clunky for an average user to set up. I wish it had wireless capabilities but the different ways to connect for printing makes up for it. Overall, it's a solid device for sizeable print jobs for power users or a small business.

I have been very happy using my HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn. It prints really well - very clearly - and isn't too loud when printing. The footprint is a little large but that is expected for a LaserJet vs an InkJet. Setup was very easy. The graphics come put clean and bright, the text is sharp. Both printing speed and warm up are very quick. The price is very affordable for a Color LaserJet. I don't have to worry about the toner drying out or clogging up. I just can't say enough about how nice the prints were - whether it was a graphic or text - definitely better than my old printer. It even does photos well. I would definitely recommend this printer to friends and family.

This printer arrived quickly and was easy to set up. It is not wifi capable though, which is disappointing. For such a costly printer, it should be. So I had to get another mesh wifi port as the printer is located in a different room than my workstation. This printer is significantly larger and much heavier than my B and W laser jet but it works perfectly and prints clear, crisp images. The turning knob seems a bit archaic for today but it's easy enough to use and gets the job done. This printer has already come in handy for my work-related print jobs and a few school projects my kids have had. I would recommend this printer if you can connect your computer directly to this printer or connect via ethernet cable to your home network. This printer will take up quite a bit of space, so be mindful of that when deciding.

I recently purchased the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn for use in my home office. The 4201dn is a color laser printer from HP with a stylish design. Setting up the printer was a simple process. It is heavy but still fits on my desk. It only took a few simple steps to be ready to print. The biggest issue was finding a cable to connect to my router. I knew this was not a wireless printer going into the purchase but discovered it to be a little more of an inconvenience than I had anticipated. The single control knob is my only real gripe about the design. Itis functional but provides no tactile feedback when you turn the dial. The result is a somewhat sloppy feel in how it rotates. I don't plan to use this knob often, so it is not a deal breaker. The display is a simple dot-matrix affair which is serviceable. Finding the printer on my network and sending it my first job was effortless. It was quickly discovered by both my work and personal computers, and I was able to print within a minute of getting connected. The printer warm up time is very brief. I expected it to take a minute or two get ready to print, but I it took less time than my ink jet to initiate a page. The print speed is terrific. I was thoroughly impressed with how fast the page went from the initial mechanical churn to dispensing a finished product. It is much faster than my ink jet. The volume of sound produced by this printer is also significantly lower than the old ink jet. I used to have to pull the chord when my wife began a job while I was on a call in the office-not so with the 4201dn; it is quiet and fast. Regarding the quality of the print, this was the shining star for me. Using regular paper, the difference in quality is night and day. The details and color displayed on the 4201dn was rich and well defined while the ink jet lacked significant details and definition. The printer supports a wide variety of paper types too, including glossy, and would go so far as to consider this printer for framed photos. Between the general looks, speed and volume of prints, and the excellent print quality I recommend this printer. However, please know that the toner cartridges are very expensive, and you may find the per page print cost to be far higher than a tankless ink jet option. I'm pleased with a medium quality workhorse (my ink jet) to handle most jobs with the laser jet handling higher quality prints as needed.

HP has done it again! This color printer has far exceeded my expectations. The print quality looks like we had our color brochures custom made! This printer is definitely being considered for a small business venture. I would trust my clients would be just as happy as I am with their custom print jobs! I had zero issues connecting to a wireless connection. Initially, I thought the printer was going to be too big and cumbersome, but it sits perfectly on the desktop area. After having using the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdn for over a week and having everyone in the office try to print at least a few different types of documents, we are pleased to say that this is definitely a product that lives up to its advertisements. This model is completely new to us and set up was surprisingly easy once we plugged into our network. It prints and scans really fast and the quality of the prints themselves were perfect for our needs. Although we have not needed extra ink as of yet, there is also the offer for free ink from HP. Overall we are really happy to have received this printer and it works really well for our small business.

I'm the owner of a small sword fighting/ martial arts school. We do a fair amount of printing for promotions. A good color printer is essential to our success. For the last ten years we have used a HP Color Laser Jet CP1518ni. It has been an excellent partner in our endeavors. The best suitable upgrade appears to be the new HP Laser Jet Pro 4201dn. It's full color capability and high speed printing (@ 35PPM) it is exactly what we need. Installation was as easy as plugging in the USB cord and performing the guided setup on the 2.7" screen by running through a few menus. The one challenge presented was that the scroll button/knob doesn't seem secure and sturdy. The best feature of this printer for me is that the toner cartridges are reasonably priced and produce thousands of copies per cartridge. This printer is one of the best values out there today. I'm looking forward to many years of service.

I love that the HP Color Laser Jet Pro is quiet and works effectively. It produces fast but professional quality looking prints. The quality of the color prints specifically when printing pictures of real people looks so crisp and good. It looks like an actual photograph print. Not to mention overall the printer is quiet.

I really like this printer. For some reason, it seems like I have always been plagued with printer problems. Either the ink dried up or it didn't print well or it just flat out broke. I just wanted something simple. Send the print job, it prints, done. I've finally found it. I've been using this printer a couple weeks and it's been flawless. It's so simple and it just works! The app is also simple and easy to navigate. I foresee this printer lasting years for me. Seems very well made and looks modern and professional. I would definitely recommend. I'm a heavy home user but believe it would be just as good in an office. So happy!

This printer has been a great addition to our home office. We print documents for work, personal use, and even our daughter prints out fun activity sheets. It prints very fast, so we never wait long. It unboxed easily and setup was a breeze, I really like having the blue front panel as it makes it look even better, it's nice having a printer that is not all one color. After checking it over, I noticed how easy it is to change toner cartridges, pull the tray, and lift out the used toner. Connecting it to my home network was simple and quick. The only thing that took a few moments to get used to was the settings knob, but once you get it, operation is smooth. Printing is quick and looks great. Having a printer with auto-duplex is so convenient and conserves paper to boot. If all you need is a color printer and not a multifunction device, you should consider this printer.

Got the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn to use in the office where I volunteer. Did have a few problems setting up due to computers need updated. When I finally got it set up the print quality was impressive. This will save us so much on going out to get color copies. It is a bit heavy. I would recommend this printer to anyone want ihgh quality looking copies.

I was in the market for a laserjet printer since I print so often working from home but also use color printing when necessary and for personal creative projects. What I like about the printer is how quiet and fast the printing is, how it has 2-sided printing, and the size of the laserjet is perfect for a small office and provides quality printed professional documents. It's almost perfect, however the downside is it is not wireless and requires an ethernet/usb connection and the menu navigation is not user-friendly. I had a bit of trouble connecting it to the ethernet, but had to reset my router for it to be recognized. I really don't like using the dial for the menu navigation as it is difficult and time consuming to use, especially if you have to type something such as connecting it to the network, or logging in as an admin or user. I also wish it didn't log out every time. I know it is a safety feature but logging back in is such a hassle with the dial. When you type sometimes it doesn't register that you clicked the character or it slides to the next character and selects it, then you have to navigate all the way back to the backspace and then back to the letter, hoping it doesn't happen again. If the printer had wireless connection and a touchscreen menu, it would get five stars. But it serves its purpose well otherwise.

Right out of the box the 4201dn seemed like a great product. It was packaged very well and had a quick start guide as the first thing you found in the box. The printer is comparatively large, but the advertised dimensions were correct so it fit perfectly in the space I had allocated. Setup was extremely fast and easy, including the hard wired connection to a WiFi network to allow multiple users to print from anywhere on the same network. The printer is pretty quiet and prints very quickly in B&W as well as the ability to print on both sides which I did not have previously. Overall this seems to be a good value and solid printer for an office or home office setup.

Printers these days are unnecessarily complex and need a thousand different drivers and don't work across computers and phones. Enter the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201DN. It's simple and these days why pay extra for fax when you just need a solid printer? I opted for this model over the FDN for that reason. Color should always be in toner especially when printing large reports because ink runs out too quickly. Overall the initial setup was easy and I got it onto my network quickly and installed on my server via network. Then I was able to print to it from my phone via the same server and that gave me nice colorful pages. Packaging wise its very compact considering it has 4 toner cartridges. The screen is easy enough to use and I like the splash of blue on the front. Pages come out quick with no smudges and so far I've printed over 100 pages with no jams.

I've always wanted a laser printer because I hate how slow inkjet printers are and how I always feel like I have to change the ink so fast. I was so excited to be able to have a laser printer at home. The printer itself is very sleek and looks great in the corner of my study. It prints super fast and the quality is great. I'm sure it will be an amazing help with my work as well as allowing my children to print out what they need for school. The only change I would make to the printer itself if I could would to make it have wireless capability, but that would just be a bonus feature really.
