The LCD controller's interface leaves falls a bit short of my expectations, but then again for this price why am I even complaining. Photo quality is very good (for passport id photos) and the photo paper/ribbon packs are very affordable. What are you waiting for? Buy the darn thing. :)

I used this Hiti S400/420 printer for two consecutive days and printed 100 sheets of 4x6 on passport mode and there was no hitch at all. The settings where just perfect, though if the printer would have a customize setting for print types. that would be great. But as it is, it is an equipment I am happy I purchased. I use this in a vet hospital for puppy & kitten photos as well as pictures of various skin lesions, etc. The print quality is actually quite good! This version allows some basic editing on the fly, but the controls are not terribly intuitive. Consumables run about 40 cents a print, which is hard to beat for the quality and speed. This is our second HiTi printer and the first was damaged by user error (somebody shoved a CF card in incorrectly and bent the pins). This first was a 640PS and it still runs well, just can't use large file sizes due to it's age.
