Only had it for about a month, but if this is any indication I am going to be extremely happy with my new laptop! My last HP laptop lasted over 5 years...which is great for me! Hoping this one is just as good. Super fast, beautiful display, very easy to setup. It has a full keypad, which I didn't expect or think about, but I really like it!

I am very picky when it comes to computers and when I first bought this laptop I thought it would be average because of the i3 processor, but HP came through and delivered an awesome laptop. The speed is great and there is all kinds of room on the hard drive. The graphics on the 17.3 inch screen are great. This is the perfect laptop for a family and even if you are a technology person, I would still recommend this laptop. Great all-around laptop!

My wife and I love this HP model of the laptop. 6 GB Ram is awesome and we can see how fast the laptop is with that. 500+ GB of harddrive and the I3 for this price is a great one.

This is the very first WiFi laptop I have ever purchased and it is totally awesome. When it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. Needless to say I was very impressed by the fast boot into Windows 7 and connecting to my WiFi rounter was so easy and quick I honestly have to say I was amazed. The sound quality is really good for a laptop, and the screen at 17.3 is just beautiful and perfect for whatever you want to do be it surf the Internet or play games, or do other things, it is close to having my desktop monitor on my lap. To sum it all up it is the perfect laptop if you are looking to buy a very good one. HP was rated one of the best makers of laptops which is why I came shopping at their website and found this truly fantastic laptop with a lot of great software already installed in it. Am so very happy I bought it and you will be too if you do.

I have only had the notebook a few weeks and so far it has been nice. It has responded well and I like the features of the system. The one con I would have to say is the trackpad scrolling. I am not a fan of using two fingers for scrolling, and it only works half the time. You have to be very deliberate to get that to work. Other than that, I enjoy the 17.3" screen and the full keyboard. My previous laptop was great for 5 years and is still running fine, just behind on the technology. I hope my HP last as long...

I love my new laptop! Great product! The only thing that bugs me is the way you scroll using 2 fingers. I can't ever seem to make it work and it frustrates the heck out of me! I have just gotten used to just using the scroll bar on the side and it works alright. Otherwise I really love my new laptop

The jury is still out on this purchase. I have had some issues with the use of the internet, and typing. I'm not sure if the issues are related totally to the computer or not. I'm not sure I'm happy with all the features yet either. Still getting acquainted with it.

This is a great computer . nicely laid out , A 5 year old could get it up and running ! The only problem i have with it is the out dated network card , downloading from web at 256k is pretty much dial-up speed . my 10 year old DELL runs circles around it . BUT , it is a very nice computer over all.

Ordered it mid day on monday, and plugged it in Wednesday morning and was using it. We have a 2 year old dv7 that's been solid so when my wife said she wanted a computer that can be dedicated to her sewing the choice was easy.

After I saw this at my local Staples store, I knew I had to get it! Since it has the features I wanted: 1. Bluetooth (important to me since i have a BlueTooth Headphones) 2. Speed 3. It comes up fast! The setup was a breeze, I get it all on line with ny network, and it also does HDMI very well! No freezes or glitches or anything. Now the Bluetooth is AWESOME!!!! Man I love the fact it came with this! The signal is very strong signal, I can go from my room (which is in the sub room) to the bathroom (which is right next to my room) to the up stairs to the kitchen! Plus(and this is a very major plus) it is SUPER quite!! You can't even hear the fan! So I would recommend this to anyone that see this notebook on Amazon, or HP or in their local Staples store!

Bought direct from HP. Best deal I found. Even though I bough online, I called customer service prior to discuss the features on this one vs the next model down in the g7 series that had lots of great reviews and the rep said definitely buy this one approx ($60 more a no brainer). But it's fast, great display, not overloaded with fluff. I also bought it because I think HP has made a comeback in the last decade by building really good stuff. BTW, great customer service. I'm very happy so far.
