The Bluetooth connection seems to lose connection quite frequently and it would've been nice if the cover were actual brushed aluminium as opposed to plastic made to look that way, for what it costs

This mouse feels cheap. Not made of metal. Glitchy when connected through bluetooth. Large & bulky...un-natural in hand. HP charged a restocking fee to return for a brand new mouse that arrived yesterday. Don't recommend.

This is my second "HP - HP Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 500" after I lost my previous one; the shape of this mouse is very comfortable at hand for use for very long hours a day. Elegant design and match all HP silver color laptops. Bluetooth mouse, great functionality, confortable with a very nice design. All is good.

Love how you barely have to touch for the mouse for it to react, so much that I double click on things by accident at first. The design fits in the palm of my hand nicely and moves easily. The best feature is the blue tooth capability, and I don't have to use one of my ports.

This is a very nice, compact mouse for travel. Very comfortable and easy to use. I probably would want a little flatter so that it doesn't bulge out of the bag but it's useful for long use without cramping your hand.

Average or less in every way. Nice looking but that's about it. It came bundled with my Spectre computer. To bad they didn't send the much superior Spectre 700.

Nice feel, easy Bluetooth pairing, however some my miss the battery symbols indicating orientation and put one or both batteries in backwards. Not sure I like the cantilevered tail of the top.

It does what it’s supposed to do with no extra bells and whistles. It is nice that it doesn’t need a usb dongle as it’s bluetooth. The clicking could be a little more tactile however.

I bought it about 2 or 3 weeks ago and been using it. Seems to be pretty accurate but it does work through Bluetooth so it can disconnect from time to time. Overall I'm happy with it.

This mouse feels very good in my hand and I've found it very accurate / smooth in the laptop interface. I do graphic / web design and development so at times I've used it rather than switching over to my pen and it does just fine with detailed work.

It took me a couple days to get used to this spectacular mouse as I was waiting to hear a click, plus there is not an indention for your fingers. but now I just love all the new features.

Computer would not recognize Bluetooth Mouse 500. First two searches through the HP Search Assistant did not resolve for me. I search the web and found driver links; I tried one which cost $20 and did not work. It was as scam. I called HP and they were very willing to help but did could not provide guidance to solve the problem. I was directed to return the mouse and received a replacement. Using the HP Support Assistant with the second mouse I eventually found a pairing tool that worked. I suspect the first mouse was okay If I and the tech support would have known how to install. I would think that instruction that come with the mouse would provide info on how to install or get the computer to recognize the mouse.

I bought this a month ago to go with my Spectre 360 laptop. What I like the most about this bluetooth mouse is the difference between the left and right click. They do not feel the same. Sp far I'm very satisfied.

Bought this to complement my Spectre x360 13 inch laptop. While I mostly use the touchpad and touchscreen, there are times I prefer the mouse. It matches the color, tracks well, connects to Bluetooth flawlessly, saving the need for a USB dongle. Got it at a great price. Only con for some is that there are no discrete buttons, but I'm used to that with my HP All in One desktop PC.

The other reviews are saying it...it disconnects from the HP SPECTRE and won't reconnect either at all or for several minutes. This is my experience as well. That's right, I'm using an HP SPECTRE mouse on an HP SPECTRE computer. I would think they would have tested this beforehand. Guess not.

Setting up the Mouse was really easy to setup to use with a Spectre x360 13 inches. In addition it looks really good!

I like the mouse when it's working, but when left on and unattended, it disconnects from the HP Spectre laptop and doesn't reconnect when I move it or wake the laptop up. This may be a laptop or bluetooth issue, but it drives me crazy.

I liked it. easy to use, easy click and comfortable with a nice sleek design. However the scroll wheel can over-scroll if used too quickly. Have been looking for the settings to only enable scrolling when the wheel is actually moving and to stop it "storing" scrolls as it were.

The Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 500 is an attractive design that complements the Spectre x360 PC. This is a full size mouse and I guess I have become accoustomed to a smaller mouse as I find the size more comfortable to hold. The outer shell is a one-piece design that I find difficult to click as the entire shell must tilt and this makes double-clicking more difficult. The Bluetooth communication works fine with no disconnects encountered over the 3 week initial period. When not in use the mouse automatically goes into a standby mode to conserve battery life.
