Needed a new monitor to go with the HP AMS DT - HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Workstation. It was a good size and delivered exactly what I needed at the time. Now, a short time later, I could use a built in camera for ZOOM meetings but did not plan on that when I ordered this particular monitor. All and all it's what I wanted. I always go with HP products!

Ive been using this monitor for 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. The adjustments are really helpful. I am looking at the monitor for a minimum of 7 hours a day.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. The screen is larger then I image clear, fits well on my desk, and provides other options to set it up. I haven't pushed it yet as far as gaming and graphic wise, but its still provides good visuals. Would recommend to friends.

Computer freezes about once per day. Some kind of hardware issue. HP will replace it, but the hassle of having to deal with a return is inexcusable.

I got the bundle for two of these monitors, and they are really pretty. Colors looks really nice and they are huge, which makes working from home really easy. Love them! Great purchase!

But Unfortunately, the display quality is not 100%. I have a plain black wallpaper as my screen background and for some reason the left side of the screen quality is off. And yes, I have tried adjusting the color functions, factory reset, connected it to another pc, made sure the wires were well plugged in, tried different display and HDMI cables, etc. It’s just simply a defective Monitor. No biggie, but I do seek an exchange quickly. Although, my screen quality display was not grade “A”, I must admit the monitor itself is Extremely Beautiful & Stylish. The Logo on Back Dope! I hope A HP Team Representative can assist me with further advise to process an exchange as soon as possible.

I teach virtually. This monitor has been a pain. Doesn't power on too often. Sometimes I need to press the button to get it on. Then it goes black for some reason. HP I have been using your products forever. You sold this teacher a LEMON! Shame!

Can't find an adapter to connect to my PC that support 4k. Having to use a LR adapter to have my 2nd monitor to work.

I bought this monitor because my brother had the same one and recommended it. It's so crisp and beautiful. I wish it had speakers, but otherwise it's a sleek design and great quality.

it's a good monitor for the price. Really good picture for the resolution. Very basic - inputs are HDMI and DVInput and nothing else. There is an audio out to attach to a speaker.

Either this piece of junk doesn't have sound or its broke. For a retail price of $329.00 this this should be an awesome monitor. Not impressed at all.

This is a great value, hi-res and pragmatic monitor at the 27" size. Nice 2560 x1440 hi-resolution (be sure to connect monitor with the DVI cord, not the HDMI) with virtually no physical bevel (about 1/8") and all the connection ports are located in a super, easily accessible area of the back of the monitor (no tilting over of monitor required to find the ports - which is a great plus!). The monitor buttons are very easy to navigate. This is a great screen with great resolution at an accessible price. I originally was going to acquire a used Apple Thunderbolt at the 27" size (which are still more expensive) but this has the same resolution, nice design as well, and infinitely lighter and less expensive (I don't need all the other features the thunderbolt comes with). The Design is nice: again virtually no bevel, the front and stand are both silver or aluminum. The back of the monitor is a white plastic type material. My only caveat is that I would make the black silver/aluminum as well and then it would be perfect. (White tends to get dirty and the aluminum back & sides would certainly go better with the front and stand. The stand is solid and looks nice and clean with the minimalist design. But, otherwise a great buy!

The picture is outstanding, watched a few 4K videos and they looked phenomenal. I get this is not a 4K monitor but it's close and if you watch a 4K video you see many more details than a 1080 TV. Its that good. The back of the monitor is white, with chrome HP logo, and it has a thin bezel. Looks very sleek in person. Only major issue for me was, the back of this monitor does not have a VGA connector, so I had to replace my older desktop computers NVIDIA GT 710 graphics card ($50) with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 ($90) which can handle this monitor, resolution and refresh rate with the HDMI connector. (The 710 only had a refresh rate of 30Hz with the HDMI port on that card) Then was able to connect the HDMI cord. So glad I upgraded to this card for this monitor, they are just so much better. Another small issue is that it does tilt forward and back, but someone complained it doesn't adjust up and down in height. They are correct, this is true but for me was not that is not a big deal. I am tall 6'2" and I just put a 4" foam block underneath to raise it. Debated on getting a 27" felt it might be too big, but its not too big to be on a smaller desk around 2 feet away. Anything larger would be too big. Couldn't imaging getting a better monitor at this price point, its that good! So I had to upgrade my desktop to handle the monitor, but it was so.... worth it.

It’s a great monitor for working from home. Not the highest quality if you’re watching a video or something but great for reading for office use. Very easy to set up. And I like it has audio outlet.

Good color works well right-out of the box. No assembly to speak-of. Plug and use.

Full disclosure, I am an HP employee. I bought this monitor as part of a work-from-home initiative. I am very familiar with monitor performance, and this one is very good! The dark point is good, the resolution is high, and the size is perfect for the content I need to display. I work on visualization of complex datasets and engineering drawings, and this is a great solution for both.

This monitor is beautiful and minimalistic! The design is flawless, the quality is great and I recommend it. It would be even better if the screen could be moved up and down.

Sturdy weighted base (no tip-over concern at all). Setup is very simple. Works flawlessly with my 2020 MacBook Pro. Picture quality excellent - if there are imperfections in the screen, I couldn't see any using a full-screen white pattern. Light output great, selectable color settings great, 2-HDMI inputs great. My only wish is for a one-button press to switch from HDMI-1 to HDMI-2 inputs as both my inputs are active all the time (so auto switching doesn't work for me). Great product and recommend it for desktop office and light video editing work.

Long story, but here's the bottom line. HP makes two different monitors with the same HP 27q name, however, one is TN and the other IPS. An Amazon merchant tried to pass off a TN monitor as an IPS monitor. Thanks HP for shipping me the correct monitor. Love the thin bezel, and included cables and mount adapter.
