I really like this monitor. I've had no problems at all. Just set it up and it worked without fail. Wasn't quiet as big as I thought but I was watching on my 60 inch TV, lol! Now I can finally watch TV and play my games at the same time without changing it back and forth. Doesn't appear to have a no glare screen, but I haven't found that to be a problem. Good job HP.

Very clear. This is the largest sized monitor I have ever purchased. Contrast Ratio, clarity, and resolution is outstanding. I am totally satisfied. Will always continue buying HP products. I highly recommend this product.

I work with AutoCAD 8-10 hours a day. I had two 24" Acer monitors and my bosses told me I could get another one, for a total of three. Well, I decided I'd rather go bigger instead. So, I started researching 27" monitors. I had seen these 27" HP monitors at Best Buy a while ago and loved them, so those are what I researched most. I am so glad I chose these. They are gorgeous monitors are exceed my expectations tenfold. The colors are gorgeous, the size perfect. If I had to say something bad about them, which doesn't really count because I knew about this feature anyway, I'd have to say it is the glare. But again, I did know about this 'issue" and was prepared for it. I do not sit by any windows and the overhead lighting is aimed up so it really is not an issue for me at all.

I was upgrading from HP’s 24” HDMI monitor with 1920 x1200 resolution to HP’s 27” 2711 with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The clarity by comparison is terrible. I had a headache after about 30 minutes. I ended up returning it.

I added this monitor to my system for $300. It is amazing that you can get a 27 inch monitor for $300. This one is a companion to my 2710m so Ia m running twin 27 inch monitors. The onlder 2710m by comparison runs hot as it needs the lights for backlighting, where as this 2711x runs cool to the touch. It is almost too thin as I instead prefer to hang my web cam off the older monitor for more stable support.

Great monitor for the price, having 27" makes all the difference in the world.

The monitor arrived dead. If this happens to you, don't call tech support, make sure to call the on-line store, these two are not linked. After 30 minutes of tech support, which consisted of telling me where the on/off swtich is, I got transfered to a supervisor, who offered me a reconditioned monitor. I then had to go back to the on-line store who replaced the monitor with no question. However, I do have to wait another 5-7 business days for the monitor to be shipped.

The display quality is very good to excellent. The product does lack some of the features of my previous HP monitor which had USB expansion HUB, and a vertical adjustment capability. My new monitor is sitting on a book.

I use my computer mainly for editing photos. The size of this monitor aides in seeing every little minute detail with clarity, definition and sharpness.

I would give this monitor 5 stars if it had a VESA mount point. Other than that, I love it.

Shopped around, best price was from HP Home & Home Office Store. Arrived before estimated date. Handles the graphics I use very well. Should have bought one sooner.

I purchased a pair of these monitors because I work from home and have a lot of applications open at the same time. I can comfortably see four different programs at the same time which is great when you need to use mutiple applications. The order process was great as I have always been pleased with HP's stores. I have been looking at these for a while. I happen to see the price drop a little over the holidays and that is when I purchased. I am using the with a new HP Elitebook with them attached to the docking port. One analog and the other digital. The resolution is great on both monitors.

Bought the 2311X from Walmart and is awesome. I'm a graphic designer and color is important. Using ht eedigital cable versus the anolog cable makes a difference to it seems. I like it so much I also bought a 2711X to replace my workstation monotor.

I've had this monitor for nearly a year now. I watch a lot of movies on my computer, both streamed and from DVD. The image quality is truly superb. I especially like the "Movie" mode setting. I haven't tried any HD on this monitor yet, so I can't speak to its performance in that category. The control buttons are a bit of a pain, both to find and to use. I would have preferred touch buttons on the front. Apart from that, the OSD appears to be fully featured with respect to available settings.

I went from a 25" screen to this 27" screen. I didn't think 2" would make that much difference, boy for some reason it makes you feel like you are watching your own private tv. The price was higher that I wanted to pay, but it was worth it. As for the shipping. I don't think an M-50 could peneatrate it. The only trouble I had, was trying to figure out how to make the F keys work independtly. I'm old and a little slow, but I will get it.

Excellent resolution, super nice HD picture with vivid colors. Great monitor for the buck! I do a lot of Photoshop work, so I was afraid that because of the relatively low cost the picture would not be as sharp as I wanted it to be. But truth be told, I was quite honestly impressed by the quality of the picture. I love it! The only flaw in my opinion is that it is nearly impossible to detach the monitor from its pedestal once it is installed. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

The HP 2711x is simply outstanding. It has been better than I expected, and my expectations were high. The sharpness of pictures and colors creates a vivid viewing experience. HD videos are crisp. The glossy screen does reflect background images but they're not distracting, at least for me. Setup was easy. My old HD monitor measured 20 inches and the extra viewing area with 27 inches makes a huge difference. I looked at 8-10 monitors over two months in making my choice and certainly feel that I bought the best of the bunch.

I spend so much time in front of the computer now designing for clients, I decided to treat myself to a larger monitor (I was working on a 21-inch) and became obsessed with finding a "larger monitor with a shiny screen". Of course HP had what I needed, when I needed it and at the right price! It was delivered BEFORE the confirmed due date (yes, I was impressed), was easy to install and it's GORGEOUS. I love my new monitor and now sitting in front of the computer designing all day is a VISUAL PLEASURE! Thanks, HP, for continuing to be the leader with innovative, affordable technology.

I feel like I'm the first in the U.S. to buy this. There are no reviews. I could buy the 2710 for $100 less, and the 2711 doesn't have as good as specs in regards to speed, brightness, and color depth. But I'm very pleased. The blacks are fantastic and color appears accurate to my eye. I turned down the brightness a little. The graphics are sharp. Some of the videos, e.g. engadget, cnet, are vastly superior to my 4-5 year old 22" HP. The frame looks great and it's nice that the 2711 is so l...

2711 WLED Monitor

Just got my new 2711 a week ago. I've got two other 24" LCD models(HP LP2465 & Samsung T240HD). The viewing angle is better on my HP LP2465 but I never view anything from the side anyway, but this new monitor is thin, consumes less power, and look amazing when viewing pictures. I'm also amazed at how great Call of Duty looks on this monitor. The graphics are so clear on this monitor. I am very pleased with my purchase. There are better monitors out there, but you'll pay 2 or 3 times more for...
