Good product bad buying experience
The Z2 Mini G5 is working out but really unhappy with the pricing strategy. Probably will not buy again from HP after bad customer service call experience.

Z2 G5 Mini- very bad experience
I ordered two of this machine for business. None stop fan running, big noise, not updated at all. It was advertised and i ordered to be windows 11, came out windows 10. Customer service helped, returned them and made a new order, but the same issue, computers arrived with windows 10. Very disappointed! So much time wasted.

Convenient form factor
for users that don't need a lot of peripherals, this is great. We've especially liked the variety of mounting options.

Great performance; loud unlike my previous Z Mini
The last Z Mini I had lasted 3 years and was VERY quiet. As a developer who uses visual studio and SQL Server management studio at the same time among other programs, the computer gets a workout. I'll never buy another laptop because they can't handle the stress. The fan comes on right away and it sounds like a plane is taking off. I bought another Z Mini because the first one was so quiet. This one is not as quiet. the fan comes on far more and it gets pretty hot. Performance is great but the jury is out on the fan/noise level.

Works Great!
I purchased this about 2 months ago and use it regularly. I have absolutely no issues. It is fast and responsive. I do wish it had a few more usb slots, but I purchased a usb extender and it works well with the computer.

waste of resources - HP computer Quality
Worst computer of the last 50+ business computers we have bought.
We ordered two if them - one never even was able to start. The second one started and after 3 weeks literally "came to a screeching halt and never booted up again.
Worst was that HP wanted us to try all sort of steps to repair 2 brand new $1500 business computer.
We still own one of them and it never came back on again and they will not take it back.

Needed repair within a week
I have purchased many products from them, this one needed repair within the first week. Very disappointing I would suggest another configuration

waist of resources to buy HP computers
Do not buy - under any circumstances - We bought two and both absolutely did not work - worst of all customer service wanted to repair them brand new out of the box

Great mini Workstaion
I love this computer, does everything that I need it to do and does it fast. I am a drafter and engineer and this computer tackles AutoCAD files with ease. So much better than my work computer and love that it has no lag when working on huge projects. The graphics card works perfectly.

Awesome website, but could be better!
When purchasing something this big, I think there could be room for improvement in order to get people excited for something so big to reduce buyer's remorse. A live 3D model of the workstation would've been neat. As you change the parts around trying to figure out which core or RAM or hard drive to go with, you can see it change in the 3D model. I've seen some examples of this being used in websites where you're building your own pizza with the toppings you want. Another suggestion is that, I think there needs to be more work letting the customer know if the parts you picked are over powered for the chassis which actually happened to me. I picked the Intel core i7, 32gb RAM, with the highest graphics card possible, and I got an email from support people saying that the options I picked had too much power than the actual power supply could support so I was inevitably asked to take down my graphics card to a Quadro. Other than that, the computer is perfect and runs great. Thank you HP!

The Z2 is a diminutive but BIG workhorse!
Bought this Z2 Mini G5 b/c i needed Windows 10 for new software requirements. The setup was straightforward and the processor is rapid fire! But what is most significant, is the size of this puppy is smaller than a loaf of bread!

Size does not matter anymore ;)
I had a belief that powerful computers should come in big packages, as the case was for every desktop computer I?ve built and owned. But The HP Z2 mini is a game changer.
It?s easy to open up to work on upgrades or repairs, has plenty of port options (more than I expected) and it?s easy to carry in a bag with it?s charger, wires, mouse and keyboard.
