Good computer
It's a great computer. Unfortunately I didn't specify that I needed to edit 4k video when I was talking to the rep so it's just a little underpowered. Once I get it upgraded though I'm sure it'll do everything I need.

FAST AND EASY
Ordering my workstation at HP web store was quick and painless. I found was looking for easily and my PC arrived extremely quick. I have always found HP to be very reliable and will continue to use their products.

Good Performance and Value
I was looking for a PC that had a video card to speed up editing and rendering video. I was attracted to this model because of the reasonable cost. It has not disappointed.

not the old Z machines
it is a decent machine but not the Z workstations that I used to know. much flimsier case that often rattles. otherwise it is working ok.

Okay Overall, but Missing Some Key Features
Overall, the machine meets most of my needs, but is missing some key features and components.
1. No HDMI ports
2. No USB C ports
3. No SATA cables for adding drives. I had to take SATA cables from my old machine.
4. No DVD drive and the drives are on backorder everywhere. I currently have a drive from my other PC in it, but it looks janky because it's too small.
5. I didn't like that i didnt have the option to forgo the $300 Windows 10 software and am surprised that a workstation would not have that option since most businesses carry volume licensing.
Other than those pain points, the machine is fast and is fully capable of doing what I need it to do.

I love my new computer
My old computer died, and I decided that it was time to come back home to HP. My new tower is quieter, more user friendly and has things that I didn't know I needed. Easy to set up and it handles all my applications seamlessly. Even working remotely is easier. This machine hasn't shown any of the lag that I've experienced lately. Very, very happy!

happy still with 4 th hp computer system
after the first one shipped had to go back due to the fan was not attached on the nividia graphics card. the new one is working well. adding ram and camera and maybe speakers next

Good Desktop Tower with lots of USB and DP ports.
Great tower with an HDMI adapter and SD card works great.

Wish I had kept my old machine.
No bluetooth even with an external USB. Very few USB ports. Why do they ship a corded keyboard and mouse?

Fast shipping.
The order arrived a day earlier that was promised. The workstation was in new condition but lacked any manuals which was easily remedey by going to HP's support site.
Somewhat surprised that it did not have internal Bluetooth but a $19 Asus Bluetooth module fixed that. I was also surprised that in only comes with 1 available SATA port when the slim DVD drive is installed.
Overall this workstation is very quiet, fast and the smaller tower is just what I was looking.

HP Z2 G5 Tower
The computer is fast, and I haven't had any problems with it. I would have given five stars except the keyboard is a little small & lightweight, and the keys are sticky.

Overall a Good PC. The display cable is an uncommon type (DisplayPort) and the description doesn't mention it. If you don't already have it you won't be able to immediately use your PC on delivery. I had to put in an older video card while I ordered and waited for the required video cable.

Fast computer
Very fast computer. Inside of computer is a little cramped. Computer wouldn't recognize my old SATA spindle drive. For some reason, neither I nor technician could open the BIOS, which made the problem hard to diagnose. I have encountered a few glitches using various programs, but they may be the fault of the software. Overall, I'm happy.

Quick, compact, & quiet.
Replaced my deceased old Pavillion. This unit boots very quickly & runs quietly.
1st time using SSD. Fast... a little "different" if I haver to boot from old Sata drive.

Best Computer I have bought in 40 years!
Have been very satisfied with the purchase of the HP Z2 G5 Workstation. The speed of opening program, saving files editing large files and essentially every other thing I do on my PC is amazing. Blows the older Asus Intel I7 in the dust. Setup was a breeze. I had absolutely no problem whatsoever in setting up the PC and transferring my files. The HP Sure Click Secure Browser has caught several "Phishing sites" and eliminated them, yet appears to cause no delay in accessing websites. The HP Wolf Security does it job, prevents hacking of the PC yet seems like it is not even there, invisibly doing its job. I have used each of the top three Anti-Virus programs over the years and this is the first that does its job and seems like it is not even installed. I have had no activity that has caused the need of HP Sure Start, but if it is as good as the Antivirus programs it should be a potential life saver.

HP Z Workstation
So much faster than the older HP 510-a010 that we inherited with the purchase of this company. It handles all tasks well above my expectations. Its quite, expandable and I feel will provide years of service.
