I was able to charge my laptop one time. The power pack got very hot. When I went to recharge the power pack it wouldn't recharge. It's dead.

Some laptops come with a USB charger, e.g. a MacBook. That adapter will also charge this battery. Then this battery will charge the mac. That gives a lot of flexibility if you end up somewhere without a wall outlet.

I figured the HP Spectre laptop would have a similar charging source cable or adapter to charge this power bank but it does not. None of my USB-Type C cables that charge my other devices will charge the power bank. The power bank did not come with its own power source. Therefore I've no idea how to charge this thing. I've never heard of a power bank that didn't come with its own cable for charging it up.

Spectre power bank will not charge from from Spectre laptop 15-ch0xx. No adapter cable included to charge from laptop power supply (to charge directly from 110V). It will not charge from non-HP sources, either. On the slight amount of charge it was shipped with, it will charge my cell phone, however it will not charge the laptop which is my primary need. Monitoring was performed with a professional USB tester in order to monitor voltage and current. There were no clear and complete instructions included with the power bank to advise any troubleshooting, nor could I locate it online. The power bank does, however, make a very nice black brick.

It dont come with a usb c-adapter to a ac port. if computer is dead how do you charge charger.
