Good and bad
The only problem was when I called hp and got bogus information on the carepack and on the phone for 4 HOURS with several people. I was constantly transferred. Everyone said I had to talk to a different department. My call was dropped. On hold for long times, transferred. Tenable customer service

Within the first 60 days I had 7 drivers that according to Norton they were outdated was I sold and old outdated computer or is this a scam by Norton?

Great price for a good all around desktop!
Needed a small desktop computer with 512g ssd and good performance. This one fit the bill perfectly.

Sent a used PC as new. Never again!
Have had noting but issues with this PC since taking it out of the box. I believe that they sent me a used/reconditioned PC as some of the screws show wear and the DVD drive cover was missing (no drive ordered). I initially assumed they left the slot open so I could add my own drive later but now am thinking it's just a used PC. PC randomly shuts down while in use and have raised multiple tickets with HP support. PC is dead now and will not pawer on at all and support still want to "troubleshoot". Still not working correctly and now they do not want to exchange an obviously faulty product. HP support is useless and I just keep getting the run-around from them. Think they are trying to hold me off until the warranty is up and then claim they can't do anything about it. Definitely regretting my purchase and will NEVER buy another HP PC again.

Nice and fast system!
With the SSD drive, this system is quite fast. I removed MS Office and installed my version. I was surprised how fast it opened Word, Excel and others. They just popped onto the screen. Very nice! Overall, it was very fast to use. I am very happy with this system. The only issue, which is minor, is that it could use a larger SSD drive. Overall rating is great!

hp Slim is a great compact home office PC.
The Slim PC is compact, quiet and is fast and adequate to handle my home office requirements. The only critical comment is the PC did not include a DVD R/W device, requiring me to pay for one additionally to the cost of the PC. I do recommend the Slim for small home office users.

Small but does everything I need it to do.
My HP slim desktop was, in large part because of its light weight and relatively small size, very easy to unpackage and set up. It does everything I need it to do in a package that doesn't take up a lot of room.

Happy with my choice
I needed to FINALLY move from my (inherited from business) DELL Win7 laptop to a much better Win11 machine. Not needing a laptop, I decided on a mini-desktop as a more cost-effective solution. I also worked for HP Medical (and Agilent) from 1969 to 2005, so my loyalty kicked in.
I am very involved in ham radio - -and have A LOT of peripherals because of this, so I needed lots of USB ports and decent power, not to mention the ability of having a virtual background in ZOOM. This machine has so-far worked well.

Useless PC experience
Lack of internet connectivity from right out of the box. Multiple HP support attempts (troubleshooters, chat, phone, and remote) to remedy WIFI issue failed. Five weeks after purchase, I'm told to pay shipping charges for a software recovery package. Terrible experience and a waste of time.

A good step-up to Windows11
Slim desktop is compact and powerful. Setup was easy. Front USB ports are oriented opposite to usual positions and a little 'tight' but functional. No dvd/cd player. Price and delivery good.

Compact peppy pc.
A compact pc with high speed usb ports in the front and regular usb ports in the back. I was surprised it was quite fast. I don't care for Windows 11 but I have it now setup similar to Windows 10. It's all about the Start Menu. If you need a peppy pc in a small space then this is the one to get. I have it on the floor.

Horrible Customer Service!
Computer has not worked correctly since I took it out of the box. Complained many times and followed what hp wanted me to do. I've reinstalled windows multiple times, Let them remote access my computer and I still continue to have multiple crashes a day. I have asked multiple times for them to replace the computer and I'm still getting the run around.

I needed a slim PC to fit in my desk so it was out of the way, it fits as expected. Performane wise, it boots extremly fast, makes barely any noise because it has one cpu fan, and handles games well with the integrated graphics.
My only issue is that it gets ?? ?? while playing FPS games. When I say hot, I mean could grill a burger on the rear CPU fan vent. I had to take it out of the desk slot that was a perfect fit because it waa much hotter than I was comfortable with. Moving it to a bigger slot helped it vent hot air.
I am considering a low profile GFX card to take the load off the cpu, I hope it will help it run cooler. The PSU is low wattage so I have to get a lower end card, but it should do fine for my basic gaming; playing tf2 at the moment.
I added a 1TB platter HDD and installed Steam using the drive as the install path to keep the SSD storage free.
I wanted the i9 version but it was too expensive for my budget. I also would like a dvd drive because I need it, but I have an external I plug in to one of the many usb ports.
I disabled the built in wifi and went hard-wired but left the BT on for my wireless headphones when I need them.
I am very satisfied with this PC. It was cheaper than a "gaming" rig and works well for my needs.
For those new to computers, you will need to Google "bypass Windows 11 account login". I only run on local accounts, I do not use my MS account.
Hope this information helps you make your decision, I spent days looking at Dell's, did 3 custom builds on Newegg and searched the Inernet up and down. This ended up as the best price for the hardware. -1 Star for heat.

Got what I wanted
I was looking for a smaller unit to replace my desktop: I didn't want a laptop, and I did not want or need a full size desktop. I just needed something for day-to-day work.

It Does the Job
Our previous HP processor was obsolete. It couldn't be updated to Windows 11. What I like about this one is the slim size. Our son-in-law helped set it up with no problems.

Excellent value and easy to use

Lots of USB ports
This Desktop has a number of USB ports, which is the main reason I chose it. My only complaint is that HP is making the power on/off button almost flush with the case, same situation on my wife's laptop. May make it look sleek but a pain for Clutzy fingers trying to turn the machine on.

Quality of my purchase.
Very disappointed with this product. only 1T of storage and no CD hard drive. Had my old computer not run out of storage space I would and should have kept it. The only thing this computer offers is
a little more speed and at a high cost ( lost my cd hard drive and spent in excess of $600.00 to do that. Too bad I missed the deadline to return it.
