Can't even play COD
I bought it wanting to play cod and it kept crashing the game. Also, if you buy this pc buy the one with the larger hard drive. The computer gets full with only a game or two large games. Only using this pic to play halo now.

Great machine, get yourself some storage
Make sure you buy enough storage, because this high power machine eats through it quickly. Beyond that, seems to be a great machine

Computer died in just over a month
In a month and a week of receiving my new computer the power supply failed.
Customer service was ok to get it sent out and fixed. I would question the parts they are using as I have never seen hardware on a computer fail like this in my entire life.

Good hardware be wary of software
I bought the OMEN 30L on Jul 17/21 and worked great up until it just started freezing/shutting down and so far all I can tell is that it's software because it keeps happening and I'm having trouble thinking it's these brand new hardware parts that I just bought. Whatever it might be I haven't been able to fix it as of yet.
It's a great pc and "when it works" it plays everything and would love to have one that always works and doesn't have this issue.
Maybe it's human error with me and my limited hardware/software knowledge whatever it might be I haven't been able to fix it yet as of 10/15/21

Good quality for price
Pretty happy with this product so far. Nice CPU, case and graphics card for the price. The 16gb ram actually ends up being the bottleneck more often than anything else. Bloatware was pretty minimal as well which was appreciated.
Biggest issue with the product is the case. There is a large bright diamond on the front of the case that I needed to disconnect from the motherboard as there IS NO WAY TO CONTROL IT WHEN THE COMPUTER IS ASLEEP. It's bright enough to keep you up at night. It's all over their forums, I'm sure HP is aware. Other than that, no complaints. Airflow and cooling is good despite the slim profile. 4.5/5 would recommend

Bought it around august 16th. Expected delivery date was Sep 13. Got it Aug 30th so that was nice. Performance: amazing. Do wish I would have optioned the RTX 3070 but that can just be swapped out I believe. Very quiet for a big PC. Both my Xbox and Playstation make double the noise starting up than this thing at 100%. Cool RGB features though I wish the bottom of the inside lit up so it's 100% lit. Runs most games at 120-144 Frames other than big titles. Which even then still look amazing. If you are specking one to around 2-2.5k here's what to get based on my opinion: 2TB hardrive, 500mg internal, I7core (I9 if optioned with 3070) and 3070 or 3080 if in stock. Remember games will only get harder to run as times go on. But for now, a 3060 and a I7 is doing just fine :)

Everything I expected and more
About a month ago I (after some long research) I decided to finally upgrade my 6 year old desktop. The struggle is, finding a graphics card for a reasonable price is very difficult. The OMEN 30L offered the graphics card I wanted for 165 fps 1080p (the RTX 3060TI) alongside the i7-10700k and 32 gigs of ram + M.2 SSD. It's fast and it's sleek, and on top of all that, it was at a great price point.
The customer service was very helpful and I even got a student discount as I am still in university. I would recommend this product to someone that wants a strong PC that is customizable, looks clean, and is at a fair price.

Great for the market right now.
It's got an easy setup and looks like I can actually upgrade later if you do it right. Great for people new to PC market right now. It could use an extra exhaust fan but that's relatively easy.

Great Upgrade
Have been using HP PC's for quite a while. My previous one was 7.5 years old, and showing it's wear. I upgraded to the OMEN 30L Desktop, and I am so glad I did. Not only does it boot up really fast, it runs Fortnite and PUBG well. Huge improvement. With the issues today in trying to "build your own" the customizable options HP offers can't be beat.

Beautiful - and appears to be built like a tank
I wanted a new work PC that could double as a gaming PC for VR and this machine delivers. It's beautiful - and I wish I had more space to properly show it off, but it's the most attractive machine I've ever owned.
I like that it's easy to upgrade - and it had a hard to obtain 3060 graphics card already built in.
I didn't love the shifting sands of the pricing appearing to go up and down every time I was pricing out potential configurations over the course of about 2 weeks - but that seems to be the current situation based on part availability.
Very happy. Easy to buy - and was shipped way faster than anticipated (less than a week.)

Some problems...
When I got this, the cover on top was floating, not put together, and when I opened the glass cover on side, some piece from pc droped...Also It shut downs by itself and restart several times...

Runs cool and games hard
I read quite a few things about the fans being loud and the cooling being an issue but I've had zero problems. I play a lot of apex and I just use the omen hub to customize when I play games that demand more to run the fans on turbo. On full load my cpu hits max 75. But usually right around 70. Love this thing so far. Boots up super fast. I picked up a PS5 about two weeks before this and I've not touched the PS5 since.
Also note to yourself... If you are in the market for an monitor.. the omen 27i complements this thing very well. 1440p is the sweet spot for a 3070 card.

Overall like the PC. Disappointed in the memory though. No way to use XMP profiles. Concerned with the compatibility of other components too. For example, M2 drives, video card, and power supply. Documentation is tough to find.

Love the HP Omen
This is our family's 4th Omen. Always good, fast and reliable. I love these computers. My kids have a blowtorch for a gaming PC, and I have a solid media and business center. It won't be our last HP computer and I have used the competition having worked at Microsoft for 18 years.

Probably hard to beat for the price but watch out
This is my first gaming desktop, but I've been watching the market for a while, shopping around for parts and getting an idea of how much I wanted to spend. Right now, it makes little sense to get anything other than a prebuilt, just because so many parts are out of stock or priced extremely high. For example, just the 3070 in my desktop is going for $1k or more (aftermarket of course). Basically this setup is a lot of bang for your buck, which is awesome. Of course it's always the not so awesome things that stand out, so I'll explain my gripes:
THE RAM: Okay this one is pretty huge, and the main reason behind me knocking off stars. Any other RAM is not plug n' play for this machine. You HAVE to order the SPECIFIC RAM from HP in order for it to run at full speeds. I'm not super knowledgeable on the technical side of this, but there are a lot of threads online talking about this issue if you'd like more information. As far as I know, it's an issue with the system BIOS that prevents other (non HP sold) RAM from working at full speeds. This is a huge issue and probably one of the main reasons not to order from them, especially if you have any intention of future upgrades on your system. I REALLY hope that HP releases a BIOS update that irons this out, because this makes a potentially awesome system not so great.
CABLE MANAGEMENT: Usually one of the perks of ordering prebuilt systems is getting something that looks nice and professional, and not like a beginner (like me) threw everything together. Well this system definitely looks like I threw it together haha. If you want your system to look organized on the inside, expect to spend time yourself rerouting and zip tying some of the cables. This isn't really a huge issue but just something to be aware of.
THERMALS: Temps aren't super great in the configuration I got (3070 and i5 10600k). I ended up undervolting the CPU slightly to try to get better temps, and I'll probably end up getting a couple more fans and maybe checking out the thermal paste situation here soon. I can hear the fans when I'm gaming, but I have my fan profile on turbo (highest setting). This is also a relatively minor issue for me, but it would be cool for HP to at least offer builds with more fans and lower temps if that's something you'd like to pay for.
I'll wrap up my review with some of the positives though, because I am overall pretty happy with this system.
DESIGN: The case and lighting look pretty cool! The design is very clean and feels premium. The LEDs require a bit of tinkering to make them all appear the same color, but once you get it dialed in, the lighting zones are spaced out enough to not be overkill.
PERFORMANCE: At least in my configuration, this thing is no slouch. I was primarily targeting 120 fps at 1440p resolution, and this can definitely reach that in Warzone with most presets set as high as they'd go. No complaints here.
PRICE: I think that these are some of the better prebuilt PCs to consider if you're on a budget and want something that's not super crazy. One thing to consider is maybe not skimping out on RAM if you're trying to save money and plan on upgrading stuff later.

Horrible Customer Support and Product Quality
I bought this PC on the 7th of February, original Delivery date was Feb 18th got pushed back to Feb 23rd then got pushed back to March 18th, today. PC arrives, boot it up, turns out somehow the fine men and women at HP can only install bits and pieces of the windows operating system on a PC. When I boot it up it doesn't start, when I attempt to find certain files on the computer they don't exist, and when the computer searches for any windows installations it comes back null... why? Because for some unfathomable reason they installed parts of windows, some files, but not the entire thing. What am I supposed to do now, buy windows myself and reinstall it? Try to get a refund and scour the market for a new PC with similar features? Or return it and wait for them to send a replacement in another 2 months?

HP could have done better
Well, to start... after placing my order... never heard from them for almost two weeks, no updates or we"re on it. Had to call and find out from a nice CS rep that it was just sitting,
After talking to her, she must have got the ball rolling and order was in build the next day.
The system is OK, wish the motherboard had a couple more pcie slots.
The tech o r person who built it, stripped out on of the screw holes on the case, that holds the Video card in the case.
I do not believe that I will buy another. This adventure has soured me to pre-built.systems... back to building my own.

Was A Great Purchase For Me
Just so everyone is aware, I am submitting this review in exchange for a Sweepstakes entry, but the opinions are my own. But here's what I will say. As a product, I think it was well worth the purchase. I chose the upgrades right off the bat, like the memory, as I had heard that HP's motherboards have a locked BIOS or something like that, meaning you would need to buy their RAM sticks later which, while I never looked up there prices, I remember reading they are more money than what they normally retail for. But while that is annoying, the rest of the computer should be upgradable, meaning that even if you don't get the higher end parts immediately, you should be able to add them in later. Well, as long as you feel comfortable working on your computer anyways. Personally, I swapped out the HDD that I got with it and swapped it out for a SATA SSD, and also got another M.2 SSD and they were easy to install with no real hassles besides mounting the SATA SSD to the mounting bracket as I had to get screws to fit, but thankfully already had another SATA cable and power cable.
Another quick note is that while my desktop has 4 RGB spots that have a control, my GPU which is a 2060 Super, has a light on the side which does not have a control to turn the light off, so I took a piece of black electrical tape and covered the light so I can go to sleep without being able to see everything in my room. But I guess if you wanted a night light that's a little too bright, well there you go.
TLDR; like it because I got a fast computer that can handle the games I want to play with reasonable speed and graphics, and should be upgradable if I want to in the future. Didn't like that upgrading the RAM while possible, sounds like it would be expensive to do later. Overall very satisfied.
