I have the previous model with similar spec and is worst for performance what so ever. Battery barely last 1hr with battery save mode. and takes forever to charge up fully. Get's super hot with basic usage. Lightroom and photoshop struggles and makes the system go insanely hot. Windows glitches all over the place. The unit looks really good, and slim build makes it nice. but it is no where close to a work horse with all that high end specifications. many of the other reviews are either fake or have not used the laptop enough. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It has outperformed my expectations including the touch screen. I really wanted to have high amounts of RAM and be able to have an interrupted zoom conferences too. This machine is fast, efficient and of high quality. Quality. It has an average battery but that's not a big deal. It still does well for hours and the only negative is that it's a tiny bit heavier than I would like to be carrying around campus. If you're going to get this for school or city work life, definitely get a backpack. I think the charger is what really adds the weight. All in all. Highly recommended! Touch screen is a lovely bonus and works way better than expected.

I needed a laptop for some light video editing, 15 minutes and under. I spoke with an HP sales assistant online and was pointed to this laptop. I have not been disappointed with the performance. I was suprised by the quality of the speakers and the keyboard has been a pleasure to type with. The only item that would have been nice to receive with it would have been a stylus.

The battery was advertised as having an approximate 9 hour life. I'm lucky if I get maybe 3 hours out of this thing. Other than that it is very quick

I bought this computer to use for my medical school studies and to game in my off time. I had an Alienware computer which was great for gaming and everything, except the battery life was pretty atrocious, plus the PC was HEAVY. Now I got this thing, I upgraded the RAM to 32GB and the storage to 2TB SSD, and this thing still sucks at playing video games. I can't even play something as simple as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There is just no point to having such a strong graphics card for NO REASON. I am severely depressed.

It takes long to open word and Excel files. My use is very limited to excel and word and despite such a huge storage and ram, this device feels like a 2010 laptop. Very laggy and slow, even during restart.

Great. I have been out of work due to both shoulder injuries and waiting to see the specialist. The pain is so bad that I can't write anything. The HP is great with all the features for accessibility ??. I am able to dictate and at least get a few things done.

I didn't like this computer much. The mouse pad works horrible, even if you configure or set up the sensitivity it detects the palm of my hand and closes and opens windows that I didn't intentionally touch. It gets very hot and the fan starts running and is very loud. It is heavy and thick even when it is hibernating some times the fan keeps running for a while. It is not a cheap computer, I would have expected much more from a laptop in this range. I had another Envy before, the 360 version and it worked much better. The problem with that one were the hinges only.

I would have had to spend a lot more money to get comparable specs from Apple or Del, and HP's build quality is even closer to equal with the higher priced competition, in my opinion.

Great laptop and reasonable price for the features. The only surprise is it came with Windows 11 not 10. You can downgrade if you want to stay with 10 for now and upgrade later.

Very nice computer, fast and like the lighted keyboard. Have reservations with windows 11, Microsoft has to much B.s preloaded on the computer and wont let you delete like Microsoft store and edge browser. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star computer in my humble opinion.

Love the size of the screen and keyboard. The start up is fast once open. Charge seems to last most of the day at this point. There are plenty of slots for plugins and that's a huge positive. The overall machine is light weight compared to comprables. Only issue is the redundant setup and software. Different from comparables as it seems to send us in loops just getting accounts logged in.

Excellent quality, runs pretty fast and the touchscreen is very responsive. I'm very impressed with all the features especially the fingerprint reader and privacy camera shutter. It works great for video and photo editing, the screen size is perfect for editing. The audio and webcam quality is amazing! I also noticed this laptop is pretty quiet which I love and I'm very satisfied with the battery life. I really like the sleek and lightweight design. It's well made and provides all the features I need for work, I highly recommend!

The size of the laptop is perfect. The touchscreen is great, works great and very easy. I'm very cautious with touchscreen laptops these days as I've used some that require me to touch the screen numerous times before it works? not the case with this HP Envy! Works like a charm. It was not loaded with the microsoft suite (word, excel) that we specifically asked for when we bought the laptop. It basically came with nothing which is super disappointing. I even have my chat log where the rep said it would be installed. Now I am told I need to purchase. Would have done that on the front end. It's frustrating.

Loving this laptop! I love the smooth, sleek design of it and it's not heavy therefore it's easy to carry around and take when we travel. My husband uses this mostly for his photography because his editing programs run much faster on this than his computer therefore he's getting his photos out quicker to those he's done photoshoots of. For my side job, I create slideshows and I love that I can load them up easily and work on them anywhere. For fun, my family has recently began making social media videos for our channel and I have been using this laptop for video editing which has been a breeze because everything loads up quickly. The laptop screen is a good size. The colors are vibrant and pleasing to the eye. I don't receive eye strain with this no matter how long I use it. It charges nicely and the attached Velcro helps keep the cord organized and out of the way when not in use. It comes with Windows already installed so once you go through settings after first turning it on, you're good to go. Easy to connect to wi-fi and personalize your preferences. The only things I wish that this had that it doesn't is it doesn't have the number pad on the far right and it doesn't have a disc drive.. yes I am old school and like those Lol. Other than those, we are really happy with this. I can definitely recommend it!
