All in all it's a nice computer. Their wolf security is garbage though. I had to uninstall it in order to be able open files and it would constantly lock up my PC. Since uninstalling the PC has been working fine.

Nice size/weight combo. Tough! (Dropped one of these from work numerous times with no ill effects?that's why I bought this one for personal use.)

The Elitebooks are my go-to Laptops for my SOHO clients that have a few extra hundred bucks to put forth.

We purchased 2 laptops for our employees. Love the sleek design. Super fast and the finger scanner is nice to have. They're super lightweight, fast and the graphics card is good enough to edit videos in Filmora 9. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend to anyone looking for a business laptop with long battery life.

Purchased this laptop for my small business, went with this option due to my previous experience with HP Elitebooks in my corporate job. For a large screen laptop, this unit is extremely lightweight with a comfortable full sized keyboard and separate numeric pad. Unit runs on battery for an extended time, I didnt measure how long but was pleasantly surprised compared to any laptop I've previously owned. Unit is fast and no heat issues using it in lap. Highly recommend.

I?m still awaiting my own verdict. I stupidly must have selected something to do with One Drive and therefore, RED circle statuses on lots of documents. I have to get rid of that first, then concentrate on overall functionality, speed, battery life

It is a Windows 10 solid business or engineering system (not a workstation). It is a great value. For those of us who run standalone secure systems we know the value of having a secure Windows 10, non Microsoft linked PC and this is a great pic.

I am still in the process of setting everything up, downloading programs/apps, and transferring data from my old laptop.....but so far I am very pleased with my new computer. It boots very quickly, has plenty of RAM, and the SSD is much quicker than the HDD in the old laptop.

I bought this computer a couple weeks ago and so far I love it! The trackpad of the previous laptop I had was flaky after having it for a couple of weeks, but the trackpad on this elitebook is amazing. Great audio, snappy, nice backlit keyboard, amazing specs, even has a camera shield. The only thing is that the resolution is 1920 x 1080, which is lower than some other high performance laptops. Overall I would recommend especially for college students!

I wish HP put more information out there explaining what Sure Click is and how it works. It took me two days of hunting on the internet to find out that Sure Click was opening all my emailed PowerPoint documents in Safe Mode...which will not display custom fonts among other things. YOU HAVE TO RIGHT-CLICK THE WINDOW TITLE BAR and choose to get out of safe mode in order to see your fonts. This I found out all by myself after trying myriad other solutions. Additionally, Sure Click categorizes my beloved PowerPoint add-ins as malware. It's just very aggressive for a power user.

Pros: (1) The hinge construction seems sturdier than my 2014 HP laptop--and indeed, it was a broken hinge that did that laptop in. I have high hopes that this hinge will last longer. (2) This laptop is absolutely silent. My older HP laptop emitted a fan-spin noise. Although this is a pro, it doesn't carry much weight. Absolute silence is not important. Cons: (1) I like having three USB ports, so that I can have a mouse, keyboard, and a printer attached. But this only has two USB ports. (2) I like having an integrated disc drive. This does not have a disc drive.

Superfast boot time with outstanding performance. Bought it for PC use only. Doesn't have touch screen but this no concern for me. No using it for gaming but my 2 sons wish they could game on it. 1TB SSD is awesome.

Unusable. The screen has a built in privacy filter. It works correctly when viewing the screen from the side. However the privacy filter also works when viewing the screen from directly in front of the laptop. The user cannot see the entire screen while using the laptop. I had to constantly move my head around while trying to use this and had a headache by the end of the day from the eye strain. I have no idea how or why HP built a laptop like this. I lasted one day until I had to return it. ALSO yes, I was charged the 15% restocking fee. I am upset to be charged $$$ when HP was the one that made an unusable laptop, however I would rather donate $$$ to HP than spend another day with a headache. Attached is a picture of the screen. In this picture, I pulled up a full size, blank, white, and even image on the screen. See how it's brighter in the center and darker in the corners? That is not glare. I took this picture in a totally black closet. This is what the privacy filter does to the 15.6" screen. Imagine trying to look at spreadsheets all day with this kind of filter.

The computer is fast, looks good and all and runs well. The WiFi is bad. I even installed the latest WiFi Drivers from the HP Website for the laptop. It is junk. It can't hold a WiFi connection at home or at work. I installed a usb AC WiFi from Amazon for $19 and it works great. Disappointed that the built in WiFi is so junky even after updating it from HP support.

Short on USB ports for our office needs and the only recommended docks were too expensive, esp., for the high number of reviews less than excellent.

Purchase a month ago for use in our small construction business. It is a good business class computer. Fast, with agile processor, 16 MB RAM and a solid state hard drive. I disapprove, however, of the elimination of user-replaceable batteries, of doors that access the RAM and HDD and of soldered-in RAM chips. The size and weight reduction are not worth the trade. This industry-wide trend, which HP has decided to join, is, at its core, designed to speed up obsolescence-by-design and eliminate the ability of users to service or upgrade.

I like this computer. I love the security of HP Sure Click, which I didn't even notice was there before I bought it. I bought it because of the 1000 nits anti-glare screen, which is awesome in terms of brightness for the outdoors, but it has one caveat. It has a Privacy filter which makes it hard for others to look at your screen from an angle, but it also gives the screen a ghostly feel even when you're looking at it from the correct angle. This drawback is obviously not advertised by HP. I'd much rather have just the 1000 nits and anti-glare, without this privacy filter. But it seems HP doesn't make 1000 nits screen without the privacy filter, so I'd buy it again if there was no alternative. Also, 256GB for an SSD is way too little for a computer this expensive. Go for 512GB or add a spinning disk in addition to the SSD for more storage.
