My laptop does not work, it will not turn on. I have contacted HP with no resolve. I have taken it to 2 places and they said it was no good. I want a new laptop or at least a refund, but HP is not cooperating with me.

It is great for what I need. The only thing I didn't realize is no DVD player. I copied a game I love to play on a flash drive (no DVD) but can't make it work on my laptop. I'm not understanding that.

Well performance wise it's pretty neat little laptop it's got lots of options and if you extras and it's barely quick and snappy and there's not a lot of lag on however this is very important you must, you must research your laptop that you're buying because it might be a type S.. A type s unless you already know, is kind of like training wheels you can't just download anything you want or install anything you want it has to be from the Microsoft store... And not judging the Microsoft store but there's not a lot of options there however it's safe because everything in there is verified by Microsoft to not miss your computer up so on one hand you have a very safe computer and as long as you do whatever they want what does training wheels you can't fall off the bike. And on the other side it's a nightmare because there's not a lot of stuff or things or extras for this computer on the Microsoft storage like they have generic versions of really good games or generic versions of really good apps and then there's some decent Microsoft versions but there's not a lot of them and you're not allowed to install any old thing. Oh and dealing with HP as far as support goes. ?????? Good luck . My HP 14 won't connect to the internet anymore because the network Wi-Fi adapter or driver not sure which one stopped working and when I tried to correct this issue I can't get a hold of anybody at HP because it's the weekend and I guess for my particular model the Wi-Fi driver you can't download it doesn't exist ... So yeah I'm being pretty generous when I give three stars I'm kind of mad right now too

I'm returning to school and needed a reliable easy to use laptop so I purchased this wonderful machine. It's been very easy to use and understand it's fast I like the keyboard and I would recommend it to other people looking for a reliable inexpensive laptop

Only worth it on super sale, and you upgrade RAM and SSD yourself. Dispite two SSDs listed in the specifications it only came with one. HP sales and tech support treated me like an idiot when brought to their attention. The two DDR4 slots are needed to upgrade the RAM from an 4GB single channel to 16 or 32 GB and it's not too difficult to dismantal though it's a challange to not markup the plastic body when doing so. 4 screws are hidden under the rubber/silicone feet strips. Hopefully the adhesive holds when reattached. Screen is glossy and colors are dull but totally usable for most purposes.

I really like the laptop. It is just the right size for me and I really liked the price. I have had a couple of problems that aren't the fault of the laptop. I was hacked the day after I receive it. That was not fun. I had to take it to a computer place and have it cleaned of spyware.

I am a 75 year old, and I only you it for emails, google search, maps, documents, excel spreadsheets, banking, and paying bills and some extras. I need Windows 10 or 11 for Turbo Tax. So this laptop is so great for my daily use. The pictures are so pretty, I love it. For the price, I am getting all the stuff I need. Speed is very good too. It came with Windows 10 and then upgrade to Windows 11. Very easy and convenient. Very happy with it. No complaints at all.

This laptop is good for basic things like checking emails or surfing internet as the memory is 4GB it can't do heavy works like gaming or video editing etc..,
