Typing on it is OK, but HP made some really poor choices when designing this keyboard. I'd rather have useful keys than have keys that duplicate existing shortcuts. I don't need a print key, or a minimize key, or lock key, or a clipboard key that doesn't seem to do anything. There's no height adjustment, so if you don't like the predetermined angle, you're out of luck. Worst of all, however, is that HP decided to replace the normal function key actions with things like volume, media control, screen brightness (which doesn't work), and screen casting. While it would still be annoying, it wouldn't be so bad if there were a function lock that allowed you to restore normal operation. But alas, there is no function lock on this keyboard.

STUPID DESIGN. Has HP hired clown for designing their products? Or do they on purpose want to irritate their customers? In the age of 21st century, there is no way for them to give an option to lock the fn key function. You need to press the fn key given sperately to ise them "normally". This is like the stupidest issue and I have spent hours figuring a solution out but turns out, there is absolutely no way. Dont think about autohotkey, a conpany laptop cannot have 3rd party programs. I am convinced HP designers are either very old or/and stupid or/and clowns.

i used this keyboard with macbook pro and all of the functions is not compatible. Aside from that, i've only had this keyboard for a week and there is a lag. not for me.

This is the 5th keyboard I've bought searching for all the right features. And it will be the Last! It's straight on the front, not curved, so it fits my wrist rest perfectly. It's quiet and the keys are wonderfully responsive. I used this for one day at work and promptly bought a second one for home.

Keyboard is smooth and quiet. However, there are a couple of features that should be improvised: 1. Add on on/off switch 2. Make unifying receiver compatible with logictech or influence them to recognize this. 3. Make the incline feature (rear support / stand) adjustable.

As another reviewer commented: I bought it only a few months ago and the usb receiver got broken by extracting it from the laptop. How is this even possible - such poor quality. I have a mouse USB dongle i have been using for YEARS without issue. As it is physical damage it is not included in the guarantee and now I need to buy a new one. Would not repurchase.

Function keys are set as multimedia keys by default, so if you are a heavy function key person, this is mot for you. And the wireless is very weak. I had the wireless usb plugged to my computer under my desk, but the keyboard had a delayed input.

The build of the actual keyboard is good. It is hard to use and recommend. Stupid limitations. It does not allow you to press more than 2 keys at once. Many hotkeys require the use of 3 buttons. For example: screen snip is CTRL + Shift + S in Windows. The lack of a function key lock makes this nearly unusable for many applications. Overall, if you are getting this for a very very basic user, I could see it being good when its on sale under $20. At the regular price of $40, there is a ton of better options.
