Decent Mobile Workstation
The HP ZBook Fury G8 is a decent mobile workstation. Don't know if the G9 will be a significant improvement.

Reliable Laptop
I like this laptop for some reasons.
1. high performance CPU
2. sound quality
3. easy to upgrade
4. Last but not least, it is very reliable labtop.

Power mobile workstation
Nice power workstation. Shame that HP is moving to a larger display/laptop case. Too heavy and bulky if over 15.6"

Work with Docking Station is a JOKE
The laptop performs well, but the work with the docking station is an absolute nightmare. Fails to work with 3 separate docks that are specific to this model and other Elitebooks work perfectly with those docks.

Awful Experience - Bluetooth won't work
This computer is a pile of junk. As soon as I got it, it would not work with my bluetooth headphones for calls. (Sony's WH 1000XM4). Have never been able to make a call on it via bluetooth. Customer support has been even worse, saying it's a compatibility issue. I know others who have the same headphones and labtop, and they don't have issues. Awful experience.

Great laptop/mid-range workstation
I really like this laptop. There are many features that work well for me. The ultra wide angle viewing FHD screen is great, very good color, excellent contrast. The built quality is suberb, great glass touchpad (love having real mouse buttons) keyboard is very good, processing power is excellent. Had a chance to sit this machine next to a brand new XPS 15: that machine has a slightly bigger screen in a smaller/lighter/thinner laptop, and better battery life, but it's screen is not as good, keyboard just ok, and seems like it's not as robust. I'd still pick the Fury over that one. Only thing I would change on the G8 is longer battery life.

Solid laptop
Looks very solid but heavy, screen is not as clear as I expected may be I just need to adjust the contrast, I have not used it actually just set up and turned it on for couple of times, that?s why I couldn?t give an exact rating, will see in the future once I start using this more often.

Big, heavy, poorly designed laptop
I was given this laptop to use for work. It's a piece of junk. The off-center keyboard is weird and hard to get used to, and the track pad is poor quality with awkwardly placed buttons. This is a powerful laptop made for CAD, but other companies can make a powerful laptop that isn't so bulky. The most annoying thing is that despite having Thunderbolt ports, it will not recognize my Thunderbolt monitor, no matter how much I change the BIOS or drivers. So frustrating!

With cracked screen it is a desktop PC
Screen cracked by itself. Spider cracks originate behind the bezel, likely at the edge of display panel. About 50% of display is useless. Called service, and was told screen cracks are not covered under the warranty. Total cost of repair, which was replacement of the complete top panel would be about similar to my cost of this PC. I checked of these display panels are available in HP/Parts but they are not.
Based on HP video ?Removing & Replacing Parts | HP ZBook Fury 15 G8 Mobile WS | HP Computer Service | @HPSupport? display panel is replaceable but not available. Display panels for the older version G7 are available.
I decided to use external display until I will be able to replace the display panel for the fraction of cost.
I am very dissatisfied, instead of a mobile workstation I have the desktop PC without display.

Solid, versatile work machine
Very powerful performance, fast, excellent work computer. Solid state hard drive and i7 processor makes for a very fast machine. Small enough to be comfortably portable yet has larger screen and enhanced keyboard. Robust feel and build quality. Very good sound and excellent touch pad with mouse buttons. Reasonable price point. Would have liked touch screen.

Very Powerful Computer
This computer is awesome. It's fast, powerful & capable of running large 3d Revit & CAD models very smoothly. I bought it because every architecture firm I've worked at has had HP computers. I wanted something that could handle these files and this one definitely takes the cake.
