HP manufacturing quality control is at its absolute worst in this laptop. The first one was damaged from the factory with a broken case and hinge. The box had no shipping damage, so I know it was damaged during manufacturing and quality control failed to discard it, so I RMAed it back to HP. The second one showed up and appeared to be physically fine until I booted it up. This one has a bad pixel on the screen that is quite noticeable. For an $4200.00 laptop, it isn't even worth the sale price that I paid for it. The only good thing I can really say about HP at this point is that their customer service and RMA process are very easy to use. Unfortunately, HP uses FEDEX shipping which is not easy to find a shipping location in my area to return the laptops.

Super lightening fast! Never hear the fan blowing. Driving 3 large monitors with 8-10 hours work per day never a fan needed. Runs super cool and super fast. Absolutely love it!

This is by far the fastest and best performing laptop I have ever used. The norm used to be you had to sacrifice speed for the portability of a laptop, but not with this one. It is actually considered a workstation which is what makes it so awesome! Once you consider the Bang & Olufsen audio it just goes over the top.

The machine arrived promptly and the setup was minimal and went off without a hitch. Although it's a 17" screen it's not as heavy as I thought it would be. Battery life is decent, I can go about 12 hr's on a charge, which is fine since I don't plan on traveling with this device too much. Overall fit and finish is good. The only thing so far that's bothering me is the lettering on the Function Keys (F1-F12). It's so small I can barely read it even with glasses.

This is my second HP mobile workstation. The first one I had for eleven years never had a problem. This new model is a step above. The feel and build quality are worth every cent. Yes, I would highly recommend this laptop.

I had to return the computer because of many issues. First and foremost, a computer of this price should have the windows hello feature (adequate cam) and touch screen! Also, the battery does not last as advertised, and it froze several times. I am not sure if it is the computer or windows itself or maybe pre-installed software.

I would like to be writing a glowing review about my new laptop. Unfortunately, it's a no-show. HP advised that they made a mistake when they promoted it to me as "in stock, ready to ship" and that I would have to wait a minimum of 5 weeks to see if it ever would be in stock or, if they would cancel the order. Bought this laptop based on a recommendation from my IT Professional son. He said HP support was among the best...and he was right. I found lots of technical information on their website and a good service manual that enables the end user to customize and upgrade the laptop. Disassembly is very simple and fully explained. I specifically bought this unit to support my massive music library and the ability to install 4 solid state drives for storage as well as backup is just what I needed.

I pretty much hate this laptop! Thinking about returning it. I had to replace my old hp Envy from about 2015 because it was beginning to fail. It had Windows 7 on IT AND WAS EASY to use. This Z Fury is a nightmare! I get tripped up on almost everything I do: I cannot get fonts I ABSOLUTELY need to download! (even w/ Zip Extractor Pro). Had to reinstall Office Pro. Endless interuptions from pop-ups and ads. Difficulty figuring out where anything is being saved to (and No I don't want to use the Cloud). Everything is an attempt to harvest more of my private info. Cannot even play a game of Solitaire without annoying ads. And BTW I don't give a zip about hp wanting this review to be 2 or 3 sentences long! I CANNOT get any work done and have difficulty sleeping at night over this.

Super powerful, easy setup. This is a hefty laptop physically, and the footprint is actually larger than other 17 inch laptops I have, so if weight or physical space are an issue, be aware. I have not taxed the system yet to see what it can take, but for an off the shelf computer, it's doing well so far (I usually order customized and max out the memory on a basic offering, but have not been stung by not doing that with this device). It give the option of upgrading to Windows 11, but I haven't tried that yet.

The machine is both unstable and much slower than expected. I had an earlier Z-book (lower model than this one), and it executed Excel much more briskly than this machine. Further, this machine is unstable, gets a watchdog timeout and freezes. I suspect the USB driver may be part of the problem, but could also be the OS. Regardless, I would not buy again.

I'm enjoying the performance of this machine. It's an upgrade from a 5 yr old HP Spectre 360. I'm not a power user, but I was getting annoyed by brief delays when changing inputs, some streaming startups or even when flipping between apps. I also wanted to do things like video background/green screen that were not possible before. This machine does all those things flawlessly. An unplanned benefit was that with the larger screen and excellent graphics, I don't need to use a separate monitor as I did before. I invested more than planned in the laptop and didn't have to upgrade my monitor. If there is a downside, it is that this machine is large and heavy. For travel, my old, petite laptop is still good to have.

Laptop screen?s lid is made from cheap plastic, i barely bumped it against obstacles but already got a few chips. Also laptop doesn?t support windows hello. Before making purchase I was trying to find this but description is definitely needs some clarification. Otherwise it?s fast, works from battery relatively ok and chargers with type c 90w.
