Interesting

why for 5000 dollars is it only capable of 4k? You can get tv that do this for fraction of a price maybe not as high refresh rate but still and apparently you have some major fixing to do in your product line since half the people say the TV was broke on arrival or within very short periods of time get your s*** together yo always disliked your company never bought a hp product in my life and I'm glad I haven't

On 11.13 monitor arrived with broken screen. The screen was pushed out from the inside so no shipping issues but Mfg Quality control issue.

Great if You're Coming From a TV

This build and picture quality are unmatched. Even a close range (I don't recommend this) the picture quality is really clear. I've had people who are not techy comment on the quality as soon as their eyes hit it. As a long time TV user (for large format 4K@60hz) this unit is a huge step up because it brings me back everything I missed in a monitor with the size and resolution I gave it up for. Up to 144hz + Gsync helps me maximize the use of my rig, now I'm playing the The Witcher 3 like a champ and can't wait to visit Cyberpunk 2077 on this thing. Unfortunately the units falls annoyingly short in simple areas. The Sound Bar: By far the most annoying part of this device. It tries to be smart and turn the sound bar off when it's not in use and turn it on when the computer is is playing sound. The detection seems to be based on volume. If you play constantly low sound the bar will not respond. If you're watching something that goes quiet for a while (not mute, just low sound), the sound bar will cut off on you! When you start your favorite show or game, the sound bar listens for sound for a while (at the right volume?) and takes a few seconds to turn on, so you NEVER GET YOUR SOUND FROM THE BEGINNING! There would have to be a loud crash at the beginning of everything (which you won't hear because the bar will start turning on at that point) or you'd have to turn the TV up loud to wake the sound bar (and still not hear the beginning of the audio because the unit will start turning on). I can't find any options to stop the sound bar from sleeping and there is not remote for it. I sometimes have to turn it on manually or unplug the 3.5mm cable and plug it back in a few times. Super annoying. The Remote: This item is horrible, it's the Shield TV remote. The is by far the worst TV remote in history. An OK remote for the Shield, terrible remote for the TV. No dedicated input button, no numbers, no dedicated volume keys. Changing the volume is SUCH A PAIN. The slide is entirely too sensitive on the TV, you slide it up a little and it wants to hit 30 volume (which is really loud in my bedroom). You can slide a very small amount to display the volume meter and the slap the remote d-pad after that, but then the changes become incremental by like 5 and 10 and you end up in 25 volume when you were trying to go from 10 to 15. The volume game makes you want to pull your hair out. You have to just turn the TV all the way up and then toggle volume with a PC remote or wireless KB. The Backlight: Backlight and not RGB light. I had hoped it was full RGB and could take colors from the screen and display them on the wall, but it's just a backlight with a few colors. It has the feature to display screen colors on the wall, but it just cycles through a few inaccurate colors. It forces me to use solid red for my RGB setup. The Power Button: There's not way to turn the unit on once you've turned it off with the power button. The remote responds (the IR LED flashes), the TV does not turn on. There is no power button on the remote. Aside from the unit going to sleep, there is no way to turn it on if you turn it off without walking up to it. This is strange for a unit that's meant to be used from the couch. And actually, the power button just turns the backlight off. If you look closely you can still use the computer and see what you're doing. When you press the power button again and turn the backlight back on, it'll confirm what you thought you saw with proper lighting. I really hope updates can fix the sound bar issues and a dedicated remote is released. I don't want to substitute the sound bar because I feel like I paid for it in this expensive package. It may also be kind of hard to get rid of because of the shape. It's like some neo Kenwood design that's not that attractive on its own. If you have a monster rig and like to game this is the only display for you. This is a waste of money for console, unless you get a kick out of the clarity. All of the most prominent features are PC focused.

Omen Emperium as a desktop monitor, it works.

Support not trained for this product? Cant get ahold of anyone that is able to answer some questions and assist with issues I have with my unit. Despite that I am happy with purchase, works great as primary display.

Feels like a prototype

I bought this a little more then a month and now the on screen display does not work and it was working good til now. the volume keep going up on its owned and now the only input that works is DisplayPort needs a factory reset button just incase the remote fails because the controls in the back of the monitor are in a weird place and only act like the remote.

Excellent features that don't work.

Great picture and Nvidia Shield integration but my unit is defective. No HDMI sources work, the screen keeps going black, and the OSD button selector on the back of the TV was broken despite the shipping box being prestine condition. This TV should have failed QC.
