Good quality prints, reliable, easy to use.

We have used our HP DesignJet 430 plotter almost on a daily basis for the past 7-8 yrs and it and the HP40 cartridge have served us well.

Ink Level Indicator Does not work

Recently HP changed the ink level indicator for this cartridge from one that was rectangular and changed color when ink level was low. New design features a black circle. The first cartridge I have used with this design did not show any indication when the ink level was low - the circle never changed color or shape. I realized I was out of ink just when I was about to plot a job and had to make an emergency trip on a Sunday to Office Depot which luckily had a replacement cartridge. If it aint broke don't fix it!
