College life with HP
This is absolutely wonderful and my granddaughter is so excited about her Grammy providing her a new laptop for her entrance into college in August! I love all your products and highly recommend not only this but all you have to offer as I have bought all my grands HP laptops in the past.

Very Basic?.
Just received a few hours ago. Setting the laptop up. The battery is trash. The camera is trash. The display is yellow, and not super crisp or bright. It has two USB ports. You can only connect to wifi. No ethernet ports. Will not do face recognition, will not do fingerprint scan. Matter of fact the touchpad is trash. Suggest having a Bluetooth mouse to use also. Guess I should have made sure to look into all this before signing up to buy an $800 dollar laptop that works just as good as the one I'm upgrading from that I spent $250 dollars on? I expected more from HP?.

OK For MS Outlook use...
This was a lot more sluggish than I had expected, especially the hard drive. The SSD is ok but the hard disk is very slow, you get a noticeable lag anytime you do things that use the hard disk. I give it a 3 because I am pretty much using it for email only, if I had this as my main PC I would give it a 2.

Very sturdy build quality. The case appears to be made with recycled materials. Screen size is fantastically large.

Good speed, poor battery charger
The speed of the laptop is a major upgrade from my $400 2016 Dell. But, the charger gets VERY hot while charging to such an extent I am unable to fully charge my laptop and it cannot be plugged in for more then 20 minutes. Also that battery life is average. All and all, I like it. But I'm not happy with the charger getting abnormally hot and not being able to fully charge my laptop.

Problems!
The cursor frequently freezes and I need to scroll up or down to get it working again. I contacted HP support and was given NONSENSICAL responses!

Slow internet with new laptop.
The internet is very slow with new HP laptop. Drivers are up to date. The suggested resolutions i found on line did now work. I'm still trying to resolve. Win 11 version 22h2 has been downloading for a week and was only at 55% today.

Perfect laptop for remote work
I love this laptop, it met all my needs for freelance work and personal use. It's fast and simple to set up. The keyboard is full size with comfortable hand placing so it's easy to type fast. The video and audio quality is excellent. I highly recommend this laptop!

Upgraded Laptop with more features.
I like the size of the laptop and the color of the keyboard because I have an issue seeing the keys and the black background and white letters work for me. However, there were other laptops that had better features and more storage space, but the colors didn't work for me.

Great Performance, Mediocre Construction
Pluses: Blazing fast for a great price. Comes with the least amount of bloatware I've ever had in a new laptop.
Minuses: No RJ-45 port, no fingerprint reader and overall cheap construction, especially compared to an equivalent HP model I purchased several years ago.
I purchased an RJ-45 to USB adapter, it worked great and is many times faster than WiFi. If all you care about is performance, and don't mind the external aesthetics and buying an RJ-45 adapter (about $15), it's hard to get a laptop with this level of performance anywhere near this price.
I had to rate it only 3 stars because of the externals. If the construction had been as good has my HP laptop I bought several years ago, this would have easily rated 5 stars.

Excellent computer
