Ultrasonic Lab Processor
I was in need of a fast-processing computer as one of the primary pieces of setting up a "hobby ultrasonic testing lab". The ProDesk 600 was purchased as last year's model at half price. It doesn't take a lot of room and has all the ports that I need. It has been working well and it a great addition to the lab. The only improvement I would make would be to make the startup button and light a little easier to use. I push the button and wait for the light to come on.

Fast and easy

Great price for what you get!
PC is fast. No problem processing. Graphics are good. It's quite. No problems so far. Did notice there is a little lag sometime with the bluetooth.

Great Mini Desktop .. would recommend
The ProDesk 600 Mini is fast and sleek. I like that it has the option of powering on from the keyboard with a simple Bios setting and using the designated USB port. Not really advertised but a very welcomed option.The only negative is a bit of inconsistency in the front panel port alignment and power button ease of access. This can be corrected somewhat by forcing a tighter chassis connection. Very pleased with the overall purchase and amazing price point .. excellent!!

Doesn't come w/Win11 Pro as previously advertised
When I purchased this PC it was advertised with Window 11 Pro. This PC does not have it or will it upgrade for free. it wants to charge you for this. I contacted HP and they sent me another and it also will not upgrade. At this time I am working with HP Customer service to get this issue resolved.

The HP ProDesk 600 G6 is a small but powerful tool for those who still want a desktop computer. It has afforded me the ability to downsize the space in my desk; however, still have a compute that fits all my needs.

Small, Capable, All the Basics
This is my second purchase of the ProDesk 600 G6 Minis. I have been replacing my Z210 workstations and started with the SFF computers. I decided to give the Mini a try and really liked it for basic, workplace computing so this is my second one. It was Windows 11 ready and that got installed with the first update. I prefer to add a usb audio control and also might add an external USB hub if I need to plug in additional items. It can handle two monitors with Display Port connections.

Display port = freezes computer in 3 min or less..
Great product but When I connect to second HDMI though display port the computer FREEZES after 3 min... EVERY TIME! gurrr... found that by disconnecting the decondary displayport no freezes... can it not handel second display to TV via HDMI port? Samsung 65" TV...

Small footprint. Capable system
I recently purchased a couple ProDesk 500 minis and 5 Z SFF HP computers. These have been easy to setup, are fast and don't take up much room like my old Z210 computers they replaced. I quit buying consumer level computers many years ago as they only seemed to last 2-3 years. We will see how these do but I am hoping to get 8-10 years from them.

Living room media center
I bought this computer to attach to tv in living room and use 65" tv as monitor. The setup was easy and work great. Got wireless keyboard and mouse they work great too. To connect the computer to tv I got the usb to hdmi converter which also works great. I'm very happy with the complete setup, computer is fast, steaming is great and picture on tv is great.

Good luck finding the correct cable for screen
No HDMI, no VGA. This is stupid to ship a pc at this price without easy connection. Can?t add photos to this review to show you that the description of the item is wrong and doesn?t come with a vga or hdmi ports

Jam Packed unit, but don't try to run Linux on it.
Bought this unit at a fantastic price, but my ultimate goal was to run Linux on it. This unit does not have a Legacy mode that I could figure out, so it would not boot. I'll keep it and use for Windows, but had to buy a different unit for my project due to UEFI restrictions. The BIOs setup really needs to be simpler. I'd recommend it, but only if you're using Windows.

Garbage. The headphone jack on the computer came messed up, and there is no actual HDMI port on the back on the computer like the instructions online show.

Let's be honest: I'm not really a computer person. I needed a computer so I could work from home, so I looked up the necessary specs for either an all-in-one or a desktop. I wound up going with this tower because it met or exceeded my requirements. With the discount I received, it was significantly less expensive than an all-in-one, even after buying a monitor. So far, it's been a good colleague, making sure I can manage my day-to-day workload while still running a webcam and various peripheral programs. I haven't (yet) had it freak out, freeze, or be unable to do things, and that's what I want out of a computer!
