Usb c port does not deliver power as I was told by HP sales representative while chatting online. Brightness changes randomly with no reason and when laptop stands by and wakes up, connection with monitor drops

VESA mount adapter is defectively designed. After returning the original monitor and receiving a replacement, which took about four weeks, the replacement had the exact same problem, but HP would not refund the purchase, claiming that the 30 day return period had expired.

This was purchased to pair with an Elitebook 850 G5. However, you CANNOT connect Thunderbolt directly from the laptop to this monitors USB-C DP port. You have to either a) Get a USB-C to DP cable and not use the monitors USB-C port or b) Get the HP Thunderbolt Hub; Then connect laptop to hub, then connect hub to USB-C port on monitor. NOTE: This is the only way to get access to the the USB-A ports on back of monitor!

This is a pretty good monitor and I'm happy with it overall. The only problem is that, as a Mac user, I can't dim the display?so sometimes I have to wear sunglasses (seriously). Maybe someday HP will make this feature compatible with the Mac OS, but I'm not holding my breath.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get help on this monitor. All I get is a computerized response.

The monitor is beautiful, light weighted, and the delivery is fast. It works well for me. The only thing I wish it had is height adjustment.

Not a bad monitor for this use. Conversion on the Dot isn't bad as you can see next to a 5K (new 2020) on the left. Can't seem to get it to "wake" in tandem with turning the iMac on, but other than that very pleased - especially at this price point

I bought this monitor to work from home and it has exceeded my expectations. The display is sharp and bright, the video is outstanding as well.

If you have a 2019 or newer MacBook Pro this monitor is not for you. USB C port does not work. USB ports do not work and will not charge a phone. After connecting via HDMI, the monitor was so dark it was unusable. I discovered on my own, not from documentation or support, that if I set the monitor to refresh at 75 Hz I could solve the brightness issue. This purchase was a total fail.

We need a 2nd monitor at home and the HP 27 Quantum was the perfect fit for us. It was the best 27 inch monitor with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. With a screen 27+ you really need the higher resolution. The screen is very light and thin which was also a plus.

I recently bought two of these monitors to have a dual display setup for home office / personal use. Pros: the monitors are very sleek, light-weight, and have great graphics. Cons: my biggest gripe is not having the necessary screws to attach the monitor to it's stand for one of the displays. Hopefully, will be able to get these soon...as I'm unable to use the monitor without these. Another negative is the port options are very limited (1 HDMI, 1 DP input), so unable to daisy-chain both monitors. This feature is pretty common with most Dell monitors, so disappointed that HP has lagged in this department. Additionally, there are no speakers in the monitor, which is understandable given how thin they actually are.

I purchased 2 of these to set up dual display for working from home. One of the monitors didn't work out of the box. It wouldn't power on. I entered the serial number on the HP website when trying to contact tech support. It said that this monitor was out of warranty. I had just ordered these monitors. When looking at email and text documents on the monitor that was working, the display was fuzzy, even on the highest sharpness setting. Returning them and ordered two Dell monitors.

I am a visual designer who purchased this monitor for a home office, to use with a 2019 MacBook Pro. The performance when connected via USB-C has been excellent so far. Protip: not all USB-C cables are made equal! Make sure you use one that can support video. One thing to note is that the Vesa mount attaches fairly low on the monitor. I initially wanted to replace my old monitor with this one, but due to the placement of the Vesa mount, it ended up being much higher than where the old one was. I opted to use the stand instead, which isn't too bulky.

I bought this because of the reviews regarding picture quality, and the fact that it features a USB-C connection. While the monitor looks good in pictures, it actually feels cheaply made. Everything is plastic and it just feels fragile. Build quality aside, it has an OK picture quality, with decent color reproduction, but not really close to what I get from my Macbook display. My main complaint is all the connectivity issues I had, though. Using an HDMI cable (the one provided with the monitor) had a noticeable negative effect on picture quality, and every time my computer entered sleep mode, I had to disconnect and re-connect the cable in order to get a picture. Using an USB-C cable improved picture quality, and the sleep mode issues were gone. Unfortunately, the cable stopped working after about 2 weeks. Trying a different cable fixed the issue (although I can't say for sure that it wouldn't happen again). All things considered, keeping this monitor seemed too much of a hassle, and just felt fragile both in terms of hardware and software. I ended up returning it.

It cannot be published to the website, but.. — Horrible Quality Control...Absolutely Awful!I I purchased four of these monitors from the HP.com store for use with a brand new engineering workstation. We intended to mount them using the supplied VESA adapters for a quad-display system. It turns our that EVERYONE of the included VESA adapters, all four, are DEFECTIVE! A manufacturing error! They cannot be used at all. The dimensions are wrong, the screw hole does not match up to the hole on the mount arm of the monitor itself. Everyone was off by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. The bag in which these VESA mount adapters come in has a label from a subcontractor which HP obviously used to built these things...Taizhou Stronkin Co. LTD....They messed up the dimensions and HP's QC people obviously never double checked. Costly mistake over such a simple mechanical part. Our work has come to a complete stop all because HP didn't do a simple quality control check on a simple part before shipping these to their customers. I don't even know who to begin calling at HP...a complete disaster for us and hopefully a total embarrassment for HP . ALSO NO DOCUMENTATION IN THE BOX ONLY A FEW CARTOON ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NOTHING ELSE...NOT EVEN A QUICK START GUIDE...NOTHING ELSE..a BIG ZERO STAR RATING!

I brought this monitor in July and had to return it because if failed to wakeup. The replacement that HP sent had a dark shadow in the bottom corner. I returned it. It has been a week now and still no replacement or refund.

Now that i've had some time to use it and truly pay attention i can officially say this monitor is worth whatever the cost! It is extremely vibrant and replays my games and shows in HDR with no problems whatsoever. I will most likely end up getting another one to place beside it or above it so that i can multitast even further since i'm a bit scatterbrained. Do yourself a favor and go get one today!

Fantastic crisp display

I am really loving this display for productivity. It is super clear and easy on the eyes to look at all day. I work from home and this display has drastically improved my work experience and ease on the eyes. It's hyper clear and handles 4k video and editing fantastically. Additionally, the thin profile looks really clean in my house and is a nice addition to the home office.
Like it!
