I had to have several attempts from Tech assistance to get installed. I'm continuing to be challenged to stay connected with my WiFi!

The setup instructions appeared straight forward. The problem was none of it worked. I could get it to connect to the router but it wouldn't complete the HP-host setup. It kept posting 'an unknown error'. A deep-dive into the HP web-site suggested using the printer's web-server to initialize its interface. I set a fixed IP in the router for the printer, moved the printer next to the router, opened the printer web-server and initialized it, & finally got the setup to complete successfully. A real PITA. Once the setup was completed, the printing itself is fine. Good, crisp colors.

Adequate printer, but no more. Very slow to start printing. Networking is adequate, but drops out at various times. Print quality is reasonable,

Several problems have existed since purchase. Asks for Serial # every new use. Still only prints intermittently, cannot determine why. Special troubles printing anything related to PDF/ACROBAT.

This printer is a total disaster. Anytime my internet goes down even for a second, the printer completely looses WiFi connectivity from my Mac; only way to reconnect it is to unplug and plug it back in. Ridiculous.

I like the printer's compact size and that it enables me to fax a letter-sized document from home using the HP Smart app. I also enjoy having an instant ink account that monitors me ink usage so I never have to worry about shopping for cartridges.

This printer is simple and effective for home and common business use. I regret that I wasn't informed by the HP salesperson that there is no loader and each print must be done manually. I would have purchased a higher model. Also loading the printer to align with my HP laptop was difficult but I managed to get good assistance from HP client service after waiting a long time to connect. So far it works well.

So when I got it, I was out of ink within a week. But I contacted your office and set myself up with a three week supply at a time. I'm going to be happy with that I think. I love the printer. It's very compact and the copies are wonderfully clear. I'm still learning some of the tactics of the printer, but I managed to get it hooked up to my router and have been able to print from my iPad and iPhone.

This printer prints well enough, but I am disappointed that the ink cartridges don't last long at all. I signed up for HP to send new cartridges when the ink runs low, which is convenient, but I still hate the small amount of paper you can print with.

Overall it serves what I need. I do not lije the SCAN feature, it doesn't let me scan as a PDF, everything has to be scanned to HP cloud and its a JPEG, i really dislike this. When I try to scan from the HP app on my laptop it says it cannot connect to my printer....

I have always had HP products and have really liked my printers. The 6100e is a great printer for the money. Copies are crisp and clear. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the paper holder does not come out automatically like on my 4500. You have to manually pull it out which is extremely inconvenient.

I am a retiree from HP where I worked for 25 years, and I am so upset with the results of my new printer. My laptop is HP which was purchased in 2021 so they should be compatible. I keep getting the message that my printer is offline when I try to print. Also, I was supposed to have free ink cartridges to start and I didn't sign up to get them monthly, as I am retired, not in an office, and don't begin to use that much ink. To go to the chat room, the wait is 2 hrs and longer. I am so disappointed and don't recommend to others. thank you

it only works when it wants to. I've spent hours chatting with HP. I have had HP products for eons, this printer is the worst and the service I get is horrific!

This printer has exceeded my expectations. Set up was easy. I encountered no problems whatsoever. The only thing I can say is easy peasy. I also love the ink program. I don't have to run to the store to look for ink. This is a great printer. The color is beautiful and printing fast.

This is the replacement to the same model printer that got stuck on the "jammed paper" error when there was not a paper jam. My new HP 6155e continually goes off line requiring me to restart my modem and re-setup the wifi on the printer. Very tedious and untrustworthy device. When it prints, I cannot complain, but these desktop printers are problematic.

Set up was quite easy and almost effortless, the printer and scanner worked well for a week but after 1 week the scanner stopped working. I attempted to contact HP to get it fixed, but unfortunately the link I had to HP wound up being a scam!!!!!!! Needless to say I am thoroughly disappointed
