Starting off great with this compact laptop. Fast and powerful. Nice screen and sound is more than adequate. My only negative so far is that the on-board camera seems kind of grainy and it won't support Windows Face ID. Can't remember if there was an option to upgrade the camera. If there was I wish I had!

I am very disatified. There is no actual HP support, it's an endless loop robot. The set up did not complete and with Windows 11, I spend a lot of time entering passwords to even be able to use it. There appears to be no way to turn off all of the passwords.

Purchased this product 18 months ago and came home to find the entire IOS was gone . Tried to use virtual support to troubleshoot the issue without success as it would not accept the serial number and product number taken right off the box . Very annoyed , as this was a complete waste of money . Downloaded new drivers when the microphone would not work and then downloaded new drivers when the speakers would not work , Bang & Olfusen speakers are useless unless the computer actually gives you sound

Short and simple, essential features are excellent and matched my budget (CPU I7, Display FHD ~400nits, Memory 16GB Dual Channel, Storage 256GB SSD, WIFI6 AX, Bluetooth, USB3/Lightning, SD Reader, Backlit KB, Touchpad, Good Power/Cooling control). It came with Windows 11 Home (not thrilled, expected 10, instead got more UI changes and features I din't want). However, I'm an Ubuntu user as well. Ubuntu 21.10 Desktop install was not only easy to accommodate, but almost no hardware issues came up and those that did only concerned configuration tweaks or non-essentials (some function keys). Even better the networking and printing configurations completed perfectly on their own. For instance, my printer/scanner is an HP Envy 6400 Pro running on WIFI. Drivers and installation were perfect as part of the Ubuntu install. I'm dual booting using GRUB for now as there is a problem installing rEFInd (my preferred boot mgr) under Secure Boot. I'm hoping that will change as soon as the new SBat requirements for shim and mokmanager are understood and a new rEFInd version is available. That will make more Linux distros available to me as well. I may need a new larger ssd. ;-))

I bought this laptop because my old could no longer keep up with the amount of work I have active on it at any given time: databases, spreadsheets, Word documents, multiple browser tabs, etc., all at once. This little machine goes from off to "ready to roll" in about two seconds, and then handles everything I ask it to do, with power to spare. I especially like the fingerprint sensor, which makes login easy and fast. I expect that this laptop will serve me well for a long time. The only thing I don't like about it is that the up and down arrow keys are very small, so it's hard to hit just one of them. But that's a really minor complaint on a really good machine. I'll adapt.

The young lady that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and help me picked out the best laptop for my needs. Since it has arrived at my home I have been making it my own. I am very happy with my new laptop. I have always purchased HP products because he never disappoint me. This was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it. I am recommending this laptop to all my friends and family.

I had an HP Envy for 5 or 6 years and when it came time to replace it there was no reason NOT to buy a new Envy. I got a smaller size (no 10 key touch key pad). So far it's wonderful. Fast. Responsive. Easy to set up. Exactly what I needed.

The size and specs are good, but it is not a touch screen and the keyboard is very hard to see, and almost impossible with the back light on under the keyboard. Unfortunately, HP is still charging me a huge amount to return the laptop. Disappointing.
