Laptop Limps using Windows 11

TLDR: It's 2026, the age of AI. Anything less than 16GB isn't going to cut it with Windows 11. Primary issue: The RAM capacity and type cause the laptop to limp while browsing the internet or using really any internet connected application these days. The RAM requirements to support neural network (AI) enabled application throttles the rest of the system is you do not have 16 GB. Supporting issue: The bloatware (extra hp and windows applications that are unnecessary) on Windows 11 and unnecessary AI they try to put into every application increase the minimum system requirements. Solution: Buy another (MATCHING!) 8GB stick. This will run you minimum of $100 at the time of this post. Supporting solution: You don't run Windows and instead install the latest Linux Zorin OS, the closest Linux distro interface to Windows 11.

Excellent Laptop for everyday use and more!

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. I don't do any gaming, just a little streaming, Facebook, online shopping, bill pay, along with using Office Applications. Battery life is excellent. One thing I highly recommend is to calibrate your display using the built in method in Windows display settings. The colors are much more accurate, easier on the eyes, and it helps a lot with battery life.
