Computer worked great. It was not even two weeks old. I got an update. I was still figuring it out and working so I left it be. One day around week 3 it forced updated itself and when it went to restart after updating I got the Black Death page. Nothing would load or go past the ChromeOs logo. Technical support recommended to be returned to be fixed. After only three weeks of owning I opted for a full return and bought a different brand Chromebook. After some research apparently Chromebook HP is notorious for this issue. HP even acknowledges it because it's a choice out of 8 technical support issues. Black screen after reboot. Also trying to get customer service and technical support through AI systems was a nightmare. No more HP for us.

The Chromebook lasted 13 months, just past the warranty. Now the power button does not work and the keyboard has gone out as well. The Chromebook has never been dropped or abused. HP has informed me that it has to be sent to in for service and it will cost between $290 and $390. Customer service is almost impossible to get in touch with and did hang up on me during a conversation. Since the Chromebook can be replaced for with a new one for less than the repair options I was given, I will be replacing it with one other than HP.

I bought this for reading music to replace paper sheet music. It is much more convenient and works well. I tried some of the Android apps but I find Adobe reader works best.

The letter s doesnt work unless I hit it 4-5 times. I cant get it to connect to my HP printer, it is difficult to write and then print a school paper. I do like that its small and lightweight and it stays charged for a long time.

The chromebook was bought for an elderly couple who needed to replace a 10 year old laptop. They just needed the computer for web browsing, email, banking, correspondence. They wanted something easy to use, relatively fast, and reliable and they love their new chromebook.

I'm a Google Chrome user and use the Google cloud products on a variety of platforms depending on my location....I already have a 14" Chromebook in one location, a large desktop PC in another place, Android, and an iPad for casual portability. The iPad was getting quite old and required extra effort when I wanted to get to Google features (Docs, Sheets, mail, etc). Looked for a replacement and found this 12" Chromebook at a great price. Works really well for my casual use as an iPad (tablet) replacement. I must point out that I was surprised by the weight....I'm so used to reading articles on the iPad that the new Chromebook couldn't be held in the same manner....too heavy, even in notebook orientation. The weight also made it awkward to just throw in my travel bag like the iPad.. However, the capabilities have removed any desire to go back to the iPad as my casual device. Been using for a month now and my arm is getting stronger.

I like the 3:2 display, and while it's not super high res, it's fine for what I've used it for. Very light, easy to hold when folded back to tablet format, and the battery holds its charge for a good time. It's my "living room" computer that I just leave sitting on the coffee table, not too worried about it, quick and easy to pick up and use for whatever I need, and easy to tote in the car when going on a trip.

With my 83rd. birthday approaching in April, my view of the world was pretty limited. Then something quite marvelous happened to me, I was given a surprise gift of an HP Chromebook x 360! Even though I have barely had the resources to see much of this country and hardly any of our world, I can now fly to distant shores thru the Chromebook. And, that's only a small dip into the pool of endless answers to any curiosities I may have. I can honestly say this little HP opens my mind to an unbelievable expanse of choices.

I love the color and look of this computer. The dark grey vs white keyboard is so pretty, as is the white and grey hp and chromebook symbols. The speed is fantastic, and i love that the charger port is the usbc type, and that theres a charge port on either side.

This laptop is perfect for me.. it allows me to keep track of the things going on in my life a lot easier. The tablet allows me to stream my sports. Waiting for my HP pen to come in. But so far so good.

when I bought it I thought I wouldn't use it that much but now it's my go-to over my laptop. The 3:2 display makes working with websites and reading content much easier/faster over my old 16:9 display, and the touchscreen works great. I wish it were lighter (but it's lighter than most all its competitors) and the webcam isn't the best (but it's fine) however at this price point I really can't complain, and 7 months later it still looks like I can't do better than this, especially if I want the option of good pen input (you have to buy the pen separately).

Just what we needed for our 6 year old homeschooler. The touchscreen is intuitive. Converting to a tablet is a great way to save wear and tear on the keyboard. Having an attached keyboard, without the headache of bluetooth, comes in very handy when typing. Super easy setup and use right out of the box. Little to no patience needed.

I am really liking my chromebook, been using it for a week by know. Is so so fast, love that keeps all my data, pictures and documents in an organized way by itself. Definetly worth to change to Chromebook, and the best ones are from HP! Don´t waist your time and start optimizing your activities.

It's hard to believe how HP delivers so much value for so little money. Great screen, beautiful over package, functional keyboard (something i no longer take for granted after the Mac butterfly fiasco), and good battery life. I don't press is capabilities, mostly the Google suite, some light graphics work, and web browsing. Enjoy!

I LOVE THIS COMPUTER. It's everything I wanted. It's fast, great picture, great sound, and has charger ports on both sides. It's sleek and not too heavy with a good camera as well. Would buy again or recommend in a heartbeat.

I bought this almost a month ago for my daughter's 13th birthday. I works great for online games and entertainment and has already served as backup when her school issued Chromebook (different brand) disconnected from the network.
