My computer arrived about a week later than anticipated. Worked fine for two weeks and called HP support and after diagnostics tests it was determined I have a defective mother board that needs to be replaced. Last week when this was identified as the problem, I was told that an HP repair authorized person would come to my office today to install the replacement part. Yesterday I did not hear form anyone so I called HP to find out the time the repair person would be at my office, so I had my computer and stayed in town to make sure I was here for the repair. When I called HP yesterday requesting the time of the technician's arrival, I was told that he is not coming because the part was back ordered, and they are not sure when it will be here. I have not had any correspondence from HP or email response since the problem was identified except for my call to HP and no follow up from HP. I love the Elite Book Computers as this is my 4th one that I have owned, but not happy about the service or communication from HP and the fact that my new computer is defective, and I need it repaired ASAP.

Very frustrated with HP response to my new defective Elite Book Computer

It was great for the first couple of weeks that I had it, until I unplugged it from the hub and took it home for the first time. I got home to fire it up and the screen is out. Spent an hour and a half with their customer support but we couldn't figure out the problem. So, I had to ship it back for warranty work. We will have to see when I get it back to see how long it will last.

Nice and sleek. Though I hardly use it for now. I particularly like how hp handled my lost/stolen product and issued me a replacement.
