Good gaming computer for flight sims, high FPS rate. Windows 11 has a higher learning curve for us elder people, but I am starting to figure it out. The setup I ordered is very good for me and I have recommended it to others already, start up is fast, the only drawback is trying to get memory (DDR.s) for it, found some on ebay so good to go.

Excellent starter, the only issue is temp while gaming. can easily be fixed with a better cooler. I went with a corsair water cooler.

Bought this pre built to start me off and it works great. Startup is fast and so are load times, love that the side has a clear panel to see the light up interior. Only problem I had was the pc temperatures but bought some fans and fixed that in no time.

I bought this in May for my son?s birthday in June. So I didn?t open it until after 30 days. When we did set it up it would only give a signal to the monitor every third time it was booted up. So I took it to an HP authorized service center. They could recreate the issue but could not identify the cause. They replaced the motherboard. Did not change the problem. The service center is still trying to figure out what is causing the problem. It is going on two weeks in the repair shop. I would like to exchange the pc for the exact same item but it is past the thirty day return/exchange window even though the pc has been doing this since it was first set up. If the service center could easily identify the problem and fix it I would be fine with that. But now it seems they are just throwing parts at it with no guarantee they have identified the root cause. I would like HP to stand by their product and exchange this pc.

Got this gaming desktop for my son as a graduation/birthday gift and he loves it! Came quicker than expected, and packaged extremely well. Out of the box the graphics and speed are amazing. I'm not a tech head, and while this rig might be closer to an entry level setup, I think we got a very good deal for this build.

Love this PC. Though it does have an issue with temp control. It is easily remedied with more fans

Ordered similar pc from a competitor, after waiting a month, it was dead on arrival and then took another month to get a refund ? completely spoiled Christmas. Ordered from HP, it was there in 2 days and no issues. Don?t get fooled by low priced new name vendors. HP is still the leader for a reason

Been in the computer industry my whole life and I'm retired. I've used all the big name computers, but nothing better then the HP omens of late. This is the third one so far in the family and they all have been great. Fast and stable

Used for Collage classes and Gaming. The PC performs well in both capabilities. Using 2 HP 24 inch monitors the PC meets all expectations. The customized lighting adds great aesthetic appeal.

So this has been primarily been used for VR gaming so it is excellent with the RTX2060. Overall design is nice but the case is a bad choice for a high end graphics card and processor. There is not enough cooling and it gets hot inside. The processor and graphics card run hot even at idle. Luckily this uses all Cooler Master components and was able to find a CoolerMaster AIO liquid cooler for a great price, Also, the mounting plate to mount this type of cooler is already thereat the top of the case. The bad news is I had to tear apart the whole PC to install the new cooler. But worth it as it dropped CPU temp and overall case temp down 20 degrees. Still going to add one more fan at the bottom to exhaust extra heat. Really, this pre-built PC should have been placed in the 30L case with the liquid cooler.

I purchased this system as my primary gaming machine. The tower runs very quiet, even under a resource heavy load. I also like the form factor. I wish the PSU were a little higher wattage but the system seems stable so far. The RTX-2060 Super easily handles most games on high settings. It even handles MS Flight Sim running on the ?High-End? setting very well. I tried bumping it up to Ultra but that?s where the limitations started to appear, including jittery frame rates and visual artifacts. Desktop performance is outstanding. It?s very quick and responsive with web browsing and general productivity. The system also handles photo editing and video encoding very well although more RAM would be helpful if primarily editing media. Overall, a nicely balanced versatile system that works equally well whether playing the latest action game, editing a large spreadsheet or encoding a video. The RGB case lighting is pretty sweet and I like that HP integrated the Hyper-X RAM RGB lighting control into the Omen command center app. The only thing I immediately replaced/upgraded were the mouse and keyboard. I use a gaming mouse and keyboard instead. Otherwise, very impressed with everything as-is.

I had problems with my desktop. I loaded all my program & printers, did windows updates, used for a few zoom meetings, then my sound bar quit, also my external microphone, & usb hub. The weekend technical support had me do a factory reset. Which ment I lost everything, had to start from scratch. During a weekday I reached the OMNI support team. Josh was awesome. I did have do a clean windows install. Again lost everything & had to start from scratch, but did not have to loose days sending the desktop back & waiting for a replacement. The clean install fixed the problems. So Windows 10 drivers, etc, was the problem not HP! Everything is working perfectly now - thanks to their excellent technical support (Mon-Fri 6-6). Don't waste your time with Weekend support. The desktop is very fast & does a super job with zoom & using green screen & filters.

Bought the HP-Omen 25L Desktop for my son as a Christmas gift. Worked great for 3 weeks then we noticed small squares that looked like it was snowing different colors when playing games. Called HP tech support was knowlegeable went through all the procedures to try and fix it but it could not be done. It seemed to be a fault video card. We were very disappointed. Unfortunately HP did not have the computer in stock and the repair would have taken so time so we had no choice but to upgrade for an extra $800. They emailed me the return shipping label ,we paid for it to be packed up properly, shipped it out the next day and HP received it back quickly. Now the waiting game! After a week of not hearing from HP I called and spoke to a supervisor as to where our new computer was. They has to contact the warehouse as they were still in the process of inspecting the old computer. Inspecting what? They physically have the computer in front of them it brand new what needs to be inspected? The side of the computer is all glass you can physically see inside and its all intact. We were told it would be a longer process if they were to repair and send back so why is it taking so long. Now i'm paying for a computer that we can not use.

the computer is fine. The computer I was replacing was pretty old, and I'm enjoying the speed of this one. I didn't realize that the computer would not be compatible with my monitor, which was even older, so I had to get a new one. The experience of ordering the computer, though, was terrible, excruciating, and infuriating. I ended up talking to two different people, neither of whom could really give me the information I needed--for instance, what was the closest thing to the computer I had--also an hp, also bought directly from hp. Neither of them was any help at all. To confound things, even though it wasn't hp's fault at all, I had a horribly time getting delivery from fedex. So,all in all, it was a really awful terrible experience which I'm not eager to repeat. The computer, I guess, is fine.

Love this tower! Admittedly I have not owned this for even a month yet so keep that in mind. Very easy set up; only had to plug in my monitor (not included with unit), webcam with built-in microphone (not included with unit), mouse, and keyboard to the tower. Then I plugged the unit and monitor into an outlet. Lastly I set up my wireless headphones for sound through the built-in Bluetooth once Windows 10 was properly installed through the initial set-up process. The included mouse and keyboard have a nice basic, slim profile and are not clunky to use. No mousepad needed for the mouse which is common for most modern mice. It has the basic mouse layout of right click and left click with a scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is able to be pressed and helps with scrolling. Keyboard comes with a number pad and has little travel distance from pressing a key to confirming input. Thankfully it's very quiet but input does make some clicky noises so if you don't like that buy yourself a more quiet keyboard. No pretty lights or gizmos with the included mouse and keyboard. So if you want that you'll have to buy it separately. This is my first real gaming/streaming rig and everything runs so smooth. I recommend keeping your C Drive as clean as possible for the best performance since this does come with a secondary HDD Drive. Only put stuff you want to run fast onto your C Drive like your streaming software (Streamlabs OBS, OBS, Stream Elements, etc.) and stuff like Steam and other things in your D Drive. For a monitor I do use the HP X24i Gaming Monitor and it works great with this unit. Keep in mind there is only one HDMI port so a second monitor will need to work through the DisplayPort or old fashioned DVI-D port. This is fine for me but if you need more HDMI ports look for another tower. The clear window on the left side of the unit makes the HyperX® 16 GB DDR4-2666 XMP RGB SDRAM and NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER graphics card shine through and is very pretty. The diamond in the front also lights up and will pulse when your computer is in sleep mode. This tower is very brightly lit so if this is in a room you sleep in I recommend shutting down before bed or keep it in a dedicated room. My only real issue with this computer is may not be the fault of this unit but of other things. My Bluetooth-connected headphones (Sennheiser HD 450BT) have a hands-free audio function and Microsoft's sound settings tend to not remember my preference of keeping that turned off and just use them as normal headphones. I tend to have to turn my headphones off and reconnect or even remove the device and re-pair it with my computer. This may be a problem with the headphones or Microsoft's not-so-great sound settings. For sound I recommend getting audio that plugs into the computer like speakers or wired earbuds/headphones. It's usually best for wired headphones to go through external speakers that have a headphone jack since my experience with going directly through a tower's headphone jack over the years has not been the best. Despite this I love this computer and will probably end up finding a better audio output solution for my needs. As a certified COMPTIA A+ technician--in plain English: I'm certified to properly recommend computers and repair them--I say this is a great pre-built tower for those who don't have a ton of money or time to build one and especially for those who don't know how to build one. Pre-built towers like this are great for someone's first gaming rig since it's easy to set up and get to playing games. All games I've played on here from intensive Apex Legends to more simple games like Stardew Valley run great. I've been using this to stream games and illustration on Twitch and it runs very smooth even through using Wi-Fi. The price is very reasonable for this unit and HP is a great brand that has been around for decades. I was actually recommended this through a friend who streams Apex Legends quite often and was not disappointed. The specs and my personal experience with computers give this 5 stars as of this writing. Great stuff!

I built my first computer over five years ago. When it flatlined a few months ago, I tried a lot of things - hard drive, graphics card, RAM, and power supply but nothing would get it completely through the BIOS. Realizing that I would probably have to rebuild the whole system to get it functioning again (and not being an expert) I decided that having a pre-built system would be nice. Today my opinion of their OMEN line is high and I wrote this review using the 27i monitor and the 25L desktop. When I decided to upgrade, I went down the rabbit hole where I found Linus Tech Tips. I watched their sleeper pre-built video from a few months ago. While not perfect, they (the experts) were pretty happy with the system build and customer service. I also had my eye on the looks of the machine ever since seeing an OMEN commercial a few years ago. While Ryzen really is the better CPU these days I've always been an AMD guy for years but for some reason I've always wanted to try an intel CPU. Five years ago, intel's single-core performance was all-the-rage and I guess I had a sentimental eye towards those memories. What really did me in was finding out that: 1. I got a company discount 2. The winter sale was going on 3. A lot of OMEN units were sold out but they still had i7 10700 with GeForce 2060 SUPERs in-stock around my price-range 4. I had a work bonus that I could use to fund the endeavor After ordering, I paid a few extra dollars (it was under $20) for 'expedited' shipping and it came two days before it was scheduled. I don't know how they did that, considering it was days after Christmas (with COVID being an issue to boot). Setup was very easy, I took it out of the case, plugged it in, and then set up Windows - all in all it took about 20 minutes. This was the easiest computer setup I've ever done (and I've used Linux, Windows, and Macbook pro PCs). While I'm not a big fan of HP as a company, I feel that (1 month in) they have really done me right in every category and I would have to recommend this particular product if you have the money and want a pre-built system (or need to get around the crazy graphics-card shortages and embargos). However, if you don't have all the cash in the world or any discounts (make sure you use Honey), go ahead and build your own computer with a Ryzen and a 2080ti and it will probably be a similar price considering HPs markups.

Nice PC, Lots of bright LED's, if that kind of thing floats your boat (I disabled mine), but the provided keyboard and mouse are a joke. If you're marketing this as a gaming pc, then at least provide a keyboard you can game on? One that doesn't require function to use the F keys. For what I paid for this PC, I'd expect something better than what I got.

I bought this PC during their Black Friday special for $1000+tax/shipping, which was a STEAL for a gaming PC and its specs. Other than the price, gaming wise is phenomenal. I avg: 100-110 FPS while I play COD: Warzone 250 FPS on League of Legends Minecraft plays like butter. And I play at these frames WHILE I stream! So that itself is a reason why you should buy this pre built if you're new to gaming or even if you've been a gamer for a long time. This PC will not disappoint. The integrated RGB is also nice to look at if you're into lighting! The RGB RAM is also a nice little piece within the PC as well! The only Con about the PC is its high temps within the CPU and GPU. At idle I avg around 50-60c for the CPU. The GPU avgs around 80c while I game on Warzone.

I bought this pc for moderate gaming and everyday use. It has a good graphics card and plenty of storage with a 500 gb SSD and a 1 TB hard drive. My biggest concern with this build is cooling. I am seeing temps of upwards of 85-90c. You kind of have to have the fans running at turbo speed just to keep most games happy. But the trade off is a distractingly loud fan.

Got this at a fair discount. Good desktop and can run games at max settings without a hitch. HOWEVER, the case gets fairly hot under load, and ventilation could be a fair bit better. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase!

Runs hot!
By JR N.
This is my second Omen pc. The upgrades that they've added, like RGB, have made it almost perfect. This PC seems to be able to run any game at crazy frame rates with Incredible visuals. I really wish they had put just a little bit more into cooling this build. I had to remove a panel from the inside, and mess with the system setting a little bit to make sure the GPU stays at a good temp. It isn't a problem since I made those changes, but I guess feel I shouldn't have had to make those chang...
