Would buy again.
I like the 17 inch screen. Just what was looking for and a great price. This is my 2nd HP laptop and i won't buy anything else.

Still Waiting for My Laptop - Unresolved Delivery Issue
I can't really review the HP Laptop 17t-cn300 itself because I never received it. My order "H364944930" was placed over a month ago, and the tracking said it was delivered, but I still don't have it. I've been in communication with HP support, and while some representatives have been responsive, the overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I've used HP products before at work and liked them, which is why I decided to order one for myself but this situation has left me hesitant. I hope HP resolves this soon so I can actually try the laptop and give a proper review.

Enjoyment of a new HP laptop
So far so good! I'm enjoying my new HP laptop, which has a wonderfully big vibrant screen. It's been interesting working with the HP OIT department, because my laptop was customized and basic features such as the speakers and microphone was not completely set up. Currently, I'v used my laptop for work and personal tasks. I just order a DVD player from HP and will be watching a couple of my favorite movies this weekend. I've had the same laptop since 2012, so it's definitely time for an upgrade.

Like My new 17" Laptop except for the fading keys on the keyboard
My last 17" HP Laptop lasted about 10 years before the no replaceable battery warned me of 6% life left and I knew it was time for a replacement, so I purchased this one at a remarkably great value. All is well with this one for the first couple of weeks, except for the white printing on the keys on the keyboard are already fading to the point that I have already had to purchase a stencil set to put over the keys so I can readd them. My old HP Laptop did not have this problem after 10 years, and the keyboard keys on it still appear like new, so I am quite disappointed in the way that the keys on this new PC have faded so drastically so soon

Love my laptop; it finally was delivered
I love finally having a backlit keyboard again (didn't check for that on my last purchase, and regretted it for years). Mainly upgraded because of Windows 11, although I had migrated to it on my old HP, but it slowed it down with multiple windows open.
Unfortunately, in an incredible bit of bad timing, I placed my order just as the new de minimis tariffs kicked in. It delayed my delivery for about three weeks, but I wasn't subject to any additional tariffs.
BUT: I was beyond unhappy with the lack of support from either HP or FedEx about the status of the delivery. While I understand that everyone was scrambling to get answers, I continuously reached out to both companies, with little success. That was the only disappointment with my purchase.
Previous to HP, I always bought Dells, but now I'm a committed HP customer!

Not impressed
Negatives:
No internal sd card reader
Power button is hard to find and awkward + easy to bump
No split mouse buttons so it's just one pad and frustratingly hard to right click
No airplane or wifi button
More difficult to print photos from right click because there's an added step to access the correct menu from a new menu
Only one ctrl button because they replaced the right, best accessed one, with ai I never wanted nor asked for
Volume and speakers aren't loud enough
Positive:
Larger screen is lovely especially for Bible study nights for online church
The specs and info for the laptops now are terrible because I wasn't aware of MANY of these issues from the limited photos and information given on the site BEFORE ordering.

Computer is fine - Need customer service!
The computer itself is fine - we only use it for schoolwork and the speed is great, functionality is great. However, I've really struggled to get in touch with customer service. I intentionally bought two [nearly] identical computers to be used by my two children. On one, I was able to set up a child's profile, no problem. On the other, I cannot. I've spent hours researching the problem and attempting to get in touch with someone to help, and it seems impossible to find a live person to help. None of the help links address this. I'm leaving a 1 Star review in hopes that someone will see it and help me. I will gladly change it back to 5 stars once I see this company has a shred of customer service.

my first laptop ever!
My Hp laptop (first one I've ever had) replaces an Hp desktop. I really like the keyboard on my new Hp laptop as well as the screen size. Set up was simpler than I expected and I really like many of the features on the laptop, such as: pinning my most used websites in the task bar; being able to easily navigate various things from the "start" icon; how fast my new Hp laptop responds to my prompts; being able to easily print from the laptop; being able to use my laptop all around the house; how easy it is to adjust the screen brightness & volume and I have enjoyed watching my favorite tv show on the laptop as well. My only non-positive comment is how long the battery charge lasts. I expected to get close to 10-hours between charges but in reality, it is closer to 4-hours or 5 at most. On the plus side, the battery does recharge very quickly & it is easy to monitor the battery charge while using the laptop. Perhaps the way I have set up features on the computer is using more power? Overall, I am very pleased with my new Hp laptop and feel it is very well made & configured and I am glad I chose Hp.

Hewett Packert (HP) , the ONLY way to GO!!! Speed, efficiency, and reliability!
Built to your needs / wants/ desires. HP is the only computer used in this home for many years! The only things (personally) that I would have liked or added to this particular model... would have been an internal disc reader / writer, and a SD slot. Being as I am an "ol' school kinda' person. This is our fourth HP laptop in the past decades.

In need of a new laptop? This is a great choice!
My older laptop with Windows 10 needed to be updated, but also it was moving so slow it was frustrating to work with.
HP is a great brand. The new solid state hard drive is lightning fast! Definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for an inexpensive laptop.

Got my money's worth.
Excellent optics. Got rid of as much preinstalled junk as I could. After upgrading the RAM to 16 gb, it does what I need it to do.

No issues except I don't understand why every laptop doesn't come with an RJ45. I knew this going in but would have preferred to use a hard-wired internet connection. Seems like you have to buy a gaming laptop to get that.
