poor sound quality
I had to purchase an external speaker just to be able to hear anything on this computer. Sound quality is very poor. Same with the camera. Otherwise its an ok for writing papers and surfing the web.

HP Laptop 15t-fd000
I like my 5 year old HP Envyx360 much better than my new HP. One issue that frustrates me is that my screen background changes from my saved photo to random screens that are not mine. I have to continually change it back and can not find a fix. HP or Windows? Windows 11 minor changes, but the change to shutdown was a pain until I figured it out. I have used my older HP Envyx360 more than the new one as a result. Also boots up much slower.

I would send a picture of my new laptop, but it would be of a bare desk because I still don't have it was to be delivered Sept. 16th. But it is still, according the tracking info, sitting on a dock in California.

Not that impressed but what cna you do?
2 days after setting up my laptop, I left it on over night using just the battery and it became very warm almost hot. I turned it off and after 12 more hours it was still warm. I put it outside covered in case it would start fire. During this time I was unable to use the laptop at all as if it would not come back to life. the next morning it had cooled down and w2orked normally. no problems since except Microsoft and 365 keep trying to intrude. I use Firefox for a browser and Duck Duck Go for searches.

Solid buy
Good laptop, solid performance, however the body is a bit too flexible, so if o stand it on one leg, the track pad doesn't click, because the housing flexibility is too much, otherwise very satisfied. Easy setup, works well, holds battery for about 9 hours during normal use.

Received my computer, screen sucks, thought I opted for 6 month no interest billing, that was false. My charger was busted when delivered. I should've spent 2k on a decent laptop at Best Buy. Lesson learned.

As a retired veteran I use this 15t-fd000 laptop for evrything. Business, online stuff, gaming, video chatting with my kids and grand-kids. I can't afford an expensive gaming system so I did some research and got the closest to it without the mega-expense. I've added a 5T-byte stand-alone SSD along with 16G-byte RAM. I have over 100 RPG and FPS games installed thru GOG Galaxy and they all work flawlessly. This is a great laptop!

Good value.
So far, I'm very happy with it. Like a few others have mentioned, I wish the power button was located separate from the keyboard and not between the print screen and delete buttons.

HP Laptop 15t-fd000, 15.6"
Outstanding Laptop at a great price point; purchased on sale for under $500. Enjoy all the performance; handles all performance parameters you come to expect in a laptop, well. I am not a gamer, can speaker for the gaming experience.

Light weight and works well
My only area of concern so far is my old HP laptop had a battery that was easy to replace. This laptop does not have a removeable battery that would be easy to remove and replace or swap. Other than that I really like it and it is much faster than my old HP laptop. The keyboard has keys that are not bad, but I do like the old keyboard keys I had better as you had to press on them less for them to work. Sometimes when I am typing if I do not press a key hard enough it will not submit the character. But, that is not a common thing to occur. I could type a little faster on the old keyboard format as the keys were more responsive. I have not used the touch screen feature a lot but I did pay to upgrade to have it.

High Quality Laptop
I have had this laptop for a month and i am very happy with it. The camera and sound quality are great which is precisely what i need for my zoom meetings and video calls, the video signal is better quality too. I can have video calls in other rooms that my old computer would get a weak signal. The operating system is easy to navigate. This is a high quality laptop.

Horrible Customer Service - Charged without Receiving Product
I would give HP 0 stars if I could. This laptop was never received. I contacted HP on 3 separate occasions, each of which I was completely ignored. Fed Ex lost the package, and HP was not able to resolve the situation. A rock could give better customer service. I was 25+ year customer of HP, and I just disputed this charge with my credit card company and purchased an Apple for my child. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Disappointing first few weeks
I've had several problems. First I tried to install an older version of PhotoShop and it hung up the computer and I had to do a complete Restore and start all over again. Today I got another hang up with a message that the Recycle Bin file was corrupted. I finally got the computer to do a hard shut down after several tries and then it did a start up like it was a new sign in. Very disappointed.

Not happy
I was told this would be identical to my envy x360 2-in-1 Minus the 2 -in-1 feature. This is not comparable to the envy. NO key backlight, slower, battery drains a lot faster, and more. I wish the sales person had not told me all would be same. I would purchase another one today but cannot not trust your sales department. Long time HP customer but now....? What a shame. One lost customer isn't going to bother you, BUT it does bother me that HP treated me this way when I always liked all the HP products I've purchased ! ! !

Great Value Price and performance!
WOW! The look, weight, feel and performance is exceptional for the price paid! I am a average home user and my needs are pretty minimal. I use word, excel and now the built in windows 11 video editing software. I really didn't need a Core I5 but I'm glad I got it. The price I paid on the flash sale was better than any other place I shopped and it came directly from HP. For the average home user I highly recommend this laptop. I also recommended this to my cousin who bought a 17" version and bought one for my spouse, Both love it.

Choose a better one
It's a really slow laptop when I compare with the one I had. No backlight keyboard, but for what I need in the moment is working. For sure next time I'll choose a better processor. Customer service for HP is the worst ever, no info about tracking my order and it's impossible to get a real person to talk about your order.

Great Features and Perfect Size
I bought this 2 months ago and I really like it. It has all the features I wanted: touch screen, key pad, lighted keyboard, and the 15.6 size is perfect for me. I would have liked an option on color, but the silver is nice. It looks silver - bright and not gray. I haven't had any issues with glare. There are so many options to darken your screen. You don't have to have that bright white screen if you don't want to. It is very easy to type on. I like this much better than a desktop.
