Vacation prints don't have to be dropped off and picked up. Compared to 19 cents a print at Walgreens (the ink is cheaper). I have used this at all family functions, and usually end up buying some-one one as a gift because of it. Great Quality, and functions couldn't be better for someone like me. Thanks for this item keep up the good work!!!

I searched for a photoprinter with a large screen and I think the A826 is the best portable photo printer on the market-bar none. It is easy to use, thanks to the touch screen icons and simple, but effective menu system. It can print from passport size up to 5 X 7 and the quality of the output is excellent.The printer even plays a tune when you press the 'on' button.You can even caption and personalise your prints.I highly recommend it. Great fun! We are using it at school to print "buddy pictures" of the kids and they love the prints. It is so easy to use, even a "techno do do" can use it. If you can read, you can use this printer and with or without a computer. It is lightweight and easy to take with you. If you are looking for a small, easy to use printer, no matter your expertise, this is the one for you.

I have only own one other photo printer it was the hp 325.I thought it was good, but a826 is way better. hp has out done themselves this time. Creativity and ease use made me verv happy.

this is the greatest photo printer. i have owned it for a few months and its so easy to set up and use. the pictures that it prints are great. the colors are bright and vivid. there is no banding in the printing at all. it is so nice to have a printer that does not require a computer and prints photo (4x6) size prints. just plug it in and turn it on. put in the memory card and thats it. About a minute later you have your picture. Its great to be able to give people pictures again.

I love this little machine, so fun and easy to use. I was printing pictures within minutes of plugging it in. Paper goes in the top and the ink slips into a space right in the front (very easy access). Great print quality. It has so many cute little frame and decorative options, lots of creative possibilities. Have used for regular pics, cards, and scrapbooks.

I've only had this printer for a couple days, and have only done some test prints. I am a professional photographer, and bought this printer as a 'take-along' for sporting events, dog and horse shows, and other events. The first prints I made were directly off the CF card. They were, to say the least, extremely disappointing. They had a VERY noticeable PINK tint to them. I tried 'editing' them in the printer, which only made it worse. Next I installed the printer software on my PC, connected the printer, and printed the same pictures. They came out MUCH better. Thankfully I have a laptop, so I can bring it to events and print through it. Of course, one of the reasons to get a portable printer, was so I could direct print from the card... This printer is very light weight, super simple to set up and use, and makes decent souvenier prints. A couple things HP could have done better: How about more than TWO sheets of photo paper?! How about a carrying handle? This is, after all a portable printer! And the carrying case shown in the accessories ISN'T for this printer, which thankfully it does state. A battery option would be nice too. Perhaps a few less silly things to do to the pictures, and more than 'lighter-darker' for editing options. Overall, I think it will serve my intended purpose for it. This is not a 'serious' printer, but for parties, kids, scrapbooks,etc it's OK. Too bad the direct prints come out so crummy though.

I bought this photoprinter for my wife as a Mother's day gift last year and it has been a great gift. She finds it easy to use and has done a lot of fun things to the pictures with the easy to use features in the product. The big screen makes it a pleasure to use. The kids and their friends love the pictures she takes and then prints out for them.

I love this printer. My daughter and I scrapbook and have tons of fun together printing pictures, with the frames, and all its a blast., Fast great photos at home,,swim meets, band, school, where ever we have a plug we bring our printer and print pictures for everyone. WE love it . THANKS HP

GREAT product. Was able to print pictures in  less than 30 minutes after opening box. Unable to tell difference between store printed pictures and one that came fron this photo printer. Would  recommend it.

This printer is just fantastic. I got it yesterday and I can't stop printing pictures. Some of my friends have seen it and have been bringing me their media cards to print pictures. The caption feature is really a lot of fun! As usual another great HP printer

I love the quality of the prints but the machine won't self feed the paper. I have to sit with the cover open and hand feed each sheet through. It's very time consuming and frustrating. I'd return the thing but it was a gift!!!

I'm a scrapbooker and I just love this printer, I can print what I want on the photos and add borders, I also take pictures of different items in stores and I can write the store name and number right on the picture.

Based on one catridge, if one color of ink was gone, whole catridge should be changed. I would like to recommend some individual catridge product rather than one catridge. Very disappointed this product.

I have used a number of printers, and this is fast and easy to get the best pictures. With this you will never need to visit a store to print your digital pictures. I would like to see many of these printers out there. And another feature you will love is its print speed.

it has truble taking in the 4x6 paper it just wiil not work right it worked when i got it but then i started to us 5x7 and know it will not take 4x6 so yhat is not a good thing

I had a 600 series (like ths A636) I liked it so much better than the A820. I think it is unfreindly, and I wish I had my other on back. I still have it, and would like to get it repaired. It is not worth the price to send back and get repaired. I don't think the A820 is worth the price I paid for it. I REALLY don't like it.

I am a new dummy just learning about electronics. I have a 2 computers, 6 cameras, Ipods, Mp3s and can't understand any of it. I wanted to print all my 13 grandchildrens pictures that I have stored on these items. This pinter has been the only thing I could learn and I did it in one day with no problems at all. All the little things I can do on the pictures and scrapbooking is so easy you can't believe it. If you are a novice in electronics this is for you even if you are experienced you can do even more with this printer. This printer gets the highest rating I can give it. I now have my kids in a book I can look at.

I've had Photo Printers before, and trust me, I'd give it 6 stars if I could. This printer supports MORE than the manual discloses. Not only 4x6 & 5x7 but I had some 3.5x5 glossy stock left over from my prior printer and it scaled down perfectly. It is definitely a top end printer and worth every penny.

This is a great printer.  It has alot of features and fun to work on.  Just take it out of the box, plug it in, and your ready to go.  The photo quality is awesome.   I love the fact that you can use 4x6 or 5x7 paper.  Get extra paper and cartridges, because this is the only printer you'll be using for your photos.

I have only had this printer for two days, but already love it. Once out of the box, it takes about 1 minute to hook it up, and start using it. The 7" screen is very easy to see and use. The features are very easy to learn and I was making all sorts of different types of photos within 15 minutes. I recommend this to anyone that wants to add a lot of creativity to their photos that they print themselves. I can't wait for Christmas so I can make Cristmas cards out of my photos. The only downside is that it doesn't have a carrying case so you can protect it from damage if you take it with you when you travel.
