HP hit a home run with this Desktop PC. I bought it online from HP about a month ago. Delivery was super fast. Since getting it, I upgraded the the Ram to 20GB. It's lightning fast and totally dependable. The graphics are awesome thanks to the excelllent graphics card it came with. The built in Application / Program transfer utility worked flawlessly to bring my important programs and their settings over from the other HP desktop that this one was replacing. This week, I bought a 3 Year Care Pack Service plan for the machine to protect my investment. I plan on having it for many years to come and will definately buy another HP machine again. This machine rocks --- get yours today, you'll love it.

The best way I can describe how fast this computer is: I was watching a blu-ray on my 42inch TV, while recording a an HD television show, while copying some files from an HD camera, and also rendering out a HUGE HD video in Sony Vegas...and the computer was barley making a sound... It's fast...really fast...the design is great...it seems to keep farely cool. I would reccomend upgrading to Blu-ray drive, and a TV tuner, but other than that this thing is perfect so far! Didn't come with a bunch of manuals and CD's either, which I liked.

Just purchased the HPE-170f and right out of the box everything worked excellent. Hooked up new 24" Monitor via DVI Cable, hooked up HP Printer via USB, and wireless being built-in to this system it found my wireless network right away. I have a ton of applications running, and it is instantaneous, running Windows 7 Premium and so quiet you can not even hardly hear system running. Changed browser to FireFox of which I love, great job guys/gals at Mozilla. Ran google earth and flew across the USA in a couple seconds. This system is so WOW!!! Great job HP, love it, and you will not be disappointed in what you get for the dollars here. The video nVidia GeForce with 1.8GB of memory on it keeps it flying super fast with a ton of applications running simultaneously on system with 9GB memory. Checkout hothardware if you wish to play and overclock the i7 quad core CPU, but unless you want to play doing this, it is already plenty fast enough!! Will have to buy a Personal Media drive for backups. Thinking about the 2TB HP Personal Media drive since then I can plug it into any system, and back up my other systems as well, and still have plenty of storage capacity to spare for the future. My hats off to HP on this model, and Microsoft as well. My old Pentium 4/1.4GHz with only 256MB of memory is awful hard to use now after this purchase. All of the extra software that HP installs on this system is a real plus. HP keep up the great work in Engineering of Hardware and Software, and bring us all more computer for the dollars in the future.

Just received my new HPE-170f from HP, and it is more than what I expected after being around PC's in various Engineering Departments since back then we only had a chipset with a hexadecimal keypad in 1975. I started in Engineering before Apple had a PC in 1977, and this HPE-170f has totally blown away every computer I have ever owned, which at last count was 11 systems many of which I custom built for my business. This system is definately a High Performance system at a price that you would find hard to buy all the parts, and try to build it for the price HP is selling it for. Hats off to HP's Hardware and Software Engineering Departments. Keep up the great job, and might just buy another one soon, and would recommend this system to all my friends for sure. It has not hickuped at any software application that I have thrown at it, and is Super FAST with a CAPITAL "W" for a WOW Factor unbeatable by most all standards.

This is an outstanding performer at an excellent price. HP has done a remarkable job putting out a computer that far exceeds the performance of competing brands. Windows 7 is a pleasure (and I have never been a MS fan) and HP's implementation is superb. I also added their 25" monitor and this is a knockout system. I watch Directv on this and am absolutely stunned. I have built PC's for almost 30 years and I can't approach this on my own.

I have had my new HPE-170f for about a week now. All I can say is WOW. This is a super fast PC and is whisper quiet. The Nvidia gtx 260 gpu can run Crysis at Very High settings across the board without even a stutter. Windows 7 is easy to understand and use. I have an HP 2159m HD monitor hooked to it and it couldnt be clearer, beautiful picture at 1080p high def. This is a fantastic computer for everyone including gamers. Lots of memory at 9GB and upgradeable and the 1tb hard drive is more then enough for the average user.
