Excellent Computer
I have owned many computers to date. Have an HP Laptop, and it has been a wonderful computer. This is why I looked at only HP models. Also own HP K5400 Office jet Pro printer.
When considering this HP model the ratings made up my mind. This is an excellent computer. Windows 7 is a dream to run so far. Easy to use, fast, compact, and DVD R/W unit is excellent. Computer performance exceeds my wildest dreams.

Birthday gift
I love it . I have only had it for a few days now, and so far I love everything about it. The features, performance, and speed beats the heck out of the Dell that this one replaced. I love everything so far and would highly recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful
First off I need to give a shout out for the incredible customer service when I called HP to choose between 2 computers. The rep helped me choose this model & I love it! Best yet it's so easy to talk to someone and they speak clearly & actually want to help you. I called Dell, Apple & Toshiba & didn't have the quality of help that HP gave.
Windows 7 is a dream and this computer handles it beautifully. Fast as heck and the set-up was a snap. It took an hour maybe to plug everything in and configure settings once the system was on. The picure is crisp thanks to the graphics & that's with my old bulky monitor. A streaming show has no glitches and everything seems bright. Can't wait to get a proper LCD monitor & really have my mind blown.
I'll admit I was worried to get a PC. Almost got a Mac but this slimline is not only affordable but has a ton of memory, is super fast & takes care of my needs as a student/computer lover.
All in I'm thrilled with HP. Customer service, product and information is excellent. HP has a customer for life!

Very Impressed
I bought this unit a few weeks ago. I have been very impressed by the speed and ease of use. My former PC was from a competitor and this HP has sent that cpu to the recycler. I have told several friends to get this computer when they are ready for a new purchase. Well done, HP. An affordable unit that packs a lot of power coupled with a great design. I love having so many USB ports available.

Well-made and easy to use
I have owned two other HP computers, so I was sold on the brand already when it was necessary to find a replacement desktop recently. I like the small profile and footprint of the Slimline 5310 and the fact that it seems to be solidlly-made of quality materials. It was easy to hook up and the pre-installed Windows 7 is user-friendly, although I am having to get used to migrating from Windows XP professional. My new Slimline quickly surfs the Net and runs applications much faster than the 7-year-old Pavilion I had previoulsy. I've added a new PhotoSmart printer/coper/scanner to my system and love the speed and print quality. A couple of more USB ports would be nice, but I probably just have too many gadgets to connect. Overall, the Slimline 5310 is a solid value for the money and very satisfactory for home office use.
