I love my old HP Office Jet KS5400 printer. It is extremely reliable. However, ink cartridges and print heads are way too expensive! I paid almost 300$ on 3 cartridges and a print head. That is more expensive than purchasing a new HP printer. I do not believe that current printers are built as well. No sales outlets discount any of these overpriced overpriced cartridges. Sad

Great purchase. Wish I had ordered before and not the generic ones I ordered before.

After not having my printer available for almost 6 months, I purchased new print heads, installed them, and printer works great - like new again - considering it is 10 years old.

After going through print quality diagnostics and procedures, I was told I needed new printheads. With the new ink cartridges and printheads, I have spent approximately $400 and I cannot print color because the Printheads failed after about 30 days. The printheads are defective, and HP does not stand behind them. I guess they want to generate revenue from consumable supplies that have been sitting in inventory for too long.

my HP-L7680 printer stopped printing after 11 years , kept defaulting on printer head alignment, ordered 2 new print heads from HP, figuring I would receive the best part service, received the print heads 3 days after the website said next day delivery, was a little disappointed when opening the packages, noting the Black and Yellow printhead had a 2 year expiring date and the Magenta and Cyan had a 1 year expiring date, after paying $106 a printhead I thought I would receive 2 of the same expiring dates of 2 years, big let down from HP, people told me for what I am spending I should have bought a new printer in stead, should have listened now the printer after running a performance test, stated the Magenta and Cyan head is in fair running condition

I bought replacement print heads for my Officejet Pro K5400. An older printer but I like it. The print heads work but in retrospect I could have purchased a pretty good new one for the $203 I spent. HP parts and ink as really expensive.

I bought this printhead as my printing was deteriorating. I actually bought both, because they were on sale (saved a little bit). I only installed this one, and the printing quality went back up dramatically.

It's best to use products that are made to work with your printer and this fits the bill.

My old printhead was in dire need of replacing. After the easy install, my printer was back up and running smoothly.

I have an old L7580 HP Officejet ("old" re before WiFi printing, etc). I needed a new Magenta/Cyan printhead, which Staples doesn't keep in stock. Most users would simply buy a new printer at this point but I LOVE my 4-separate-color print cartridges printer so I ordered it online from HP. It arrived in 24 hours, I installed it and was back in business.

After reviewing all the choices I had, it made sense to purchase this at HP. Example, fine print stating the product may be expired? I did not want to roll the dice on my purchase.. Simple and worry free purchase. I installed and working great!! Highly recommended to purchase from HP direct.

I ordered the Cyan/Magenta Printhead as a last ditch effort to bring my L7580 back to life and lo and behold my printer is like new again! Now for a printer that is nearly 10 years old that worked!

I consistently use genuine HP88 ink cartridges and printheads in my HP L7680 Officejet Printer. Always purchase them directly from the HP Store. Never have any problems.

My 2007 Officejet Pro 7780 wasn't printing color for the past 18 months, but I never got error messages about a "bad printhead". Finally, after attempting to clean the printheads, the entire printer went dead (with appropriate error messages). I had two choices: Take a chance that a $200 re-investment would work, or purchase a new printer. I took the chance, even though my 7780 isn't supported any longer, due to the fact that this printer's features: Color/BW scanning and printing, with dual paper trays and automatic feeder ARE NOT readily available with new HP models for HOME OFFICE USE. It's either pay thousands of dollars for a small office machine or accept a lesser machine at an affordable price. I sincerely hope that HP continues to support it's older family of product with HP 88 ink and printheads. There a good many of these devices still in service and working well for your customers'.

After I received this printhead cartridge - I installed in my printer and it did not work. I kept getting error messages, so I took it and the black and yellow one out and re-installed both - now neither one works. SO I ordered two new ones and have now spent enough money to buy a new printer! I'm asking HP to reimburse me for the two that didn't work. Hopefully, they will do that.

After a long history of using HP products, as usual I was not let down. A stop at HP's internet site, I was able to find a much needed Printhead for my OfficeJet Pro L7650, and within three days had it in my hands and able to install it in a half hour. That's what I call attentive service and great support. Thank you, HP.

My HP Officejet Pro L7680 would not print print full page blue - the blue quit part way through the page even after running the printhead through a cleaning cycle and wiping it with water, so I order a new printhead from HP. It printed one page beautifully, then gave me an error message that the printhead was defective and quit printing entirely. I replaced it with the original printhead and printing resumed. I just haven't tried full page blue again. I am returning the defective printhead.

The HP series of office printers that use the two color printheads have been a real puzzling and frustrating experience. When the printer is new, all is well. When the printheads fail (sometimes within the first year) and you get a message to replace the printhead you might as well throw printer away because purchasing a new printhead will not solve the problem and the printheads are expensive. Further frustration occurs because the printer takes a very long time to go through it's diagnostics and then you get a message to replace the printhead of which you just did. In our office we had 8 of these type of printers and they all experienced the same problem with the failing printheads of which when you replace with a new one the problem is not solved.

I purchased a printhead and it worked for a short time 2 days). I then purchased a second printhead and it has been a week and it seems to be working well. It would be nice if I got a refund on the first prnthead ;that only worked to a couple days.

Print Heads (88) are expensive ~$88 with shipping & tax and they seem to fail every two years. The most recent head failure: Cyan/Magenta resulted in two $88 orders both of which provided print heads that worked for 5 minutes each. The printer is working with an old magenta/cyan print head that will not clean - but at least allows the printer to print. HP - you were the best printers available, now your printers consume my money and my time without anything to differentiate from your competition. Great printer - lousy reliability and maintenance costs.
