Ink Cartridge works great! I've never had a problem with HP Ink and have never been tempted to explore other brands. I don't mind dropping non-XL capacity cartridges; just keep selling the HP88XL ink until my HP printer eventually dies (not likely :-)).

Overpriced for most consumers. I have an older office jet. The printer is extremely reliable, but ink cartridges are way too expensive. Nobody discounts these cartridges. I am considering purchasing a new Epson. The packaging should contain a prepaid returnable pouch so that the cartridges can be recycled correctly!

Purchased 88XL Black - 1st shipment arrived damaged. Free returns, not sure if reimbursed any funds, but second shipment arrived and working. Maybe HP printer is old, not printing true colors. It's about 10 years old - hey - it was working fine. Cleaned print heads and all - only seeing the BLACK and a few spits of blue or dark pink. NO YELLOW

Although this particular cartridge tends to be hard to find (88 series) I was pleased that HP still had them available. Solid black, good print and long lasting. I'll definitely order more (including colors) in the future.

I ordered the wrong ink cartridge (my fault, not HP's) and the gal at customer service was sweet, kept telling me not to worry about it, and had the cartridges switched to the ones my printer needed within a day. I love my HP printer and the HP ink cartridges anyway, but I'm an even bigger fan on HP now.

I purchased HP 88XL Black ink cartridge a month or so ago. In my opinion getting the XL black cartridge is the only way to go; better value (more pages printed / dollar spent) along with fewer re-orders / year.

HP no longer has economy sizes available. So the cartridge will expire before I can use it up and my printer will not print when a cartridge is expired, so then I will be unable to print until I order a new one and it arrives - and I am paying for more than I need.

I used HP XL ink exclusively for my HP OfficeJet L7680 printer. It takes 4 color cartridges. Yeah, its an older - all in one discontinued model - but the results are in a word, amazing, even to this day, after many, many years of continuous operation. Its big, and quite heavy, but does everything you could ask for as a solid business unit and works like a rock, reliability wise, day in and day out.

L7680 Officejet I am using works as well as the day I bought it, which was 10 years ago. Zero maintenance - just need to change cartridges. Have always used genuine HP cartridges, and they are almost impossible to find at the stores now, and if you do, they are usually expired or close to expiring. Only downside is the cost. This was my first time ordering from the HP store directly. Next day shipping was free and the cartridge arrived, with a very current production date. Very happy with purchase. Hope HP keeps making the cartridge for as long as the printer lasts!
