I have had this printer for a couple of years. It is a wonderful printer but will not work with windows 10. When i upgraded i did not want to get a new printer so i used an old laptop with windows 7 on it to use as a printer server. It takes a little longer to print but worth it to not have to buy a new printer.

I've used this printer for years with no problems, then when I upgraded to Windows 10, it wouldn't work. HP says it has drivers to make it work, but after 3 different techs evaluating the printer and OS, they concluded it doesn't work. HP subsequently recognized this and does not include compatibility with Windows 10 on its specs. It's too bad, this printer was awesome.

I upgraded to this from an older model HP that had started to give me problems but I really could not complain because it was a 7 year old printer that I use on a regular for large printing jobs. I've only had it in use for 2 weeks but thus far I've completed several large printing jobs. The quality of the print is great, the speed is good. Loving it!

I am an attorney, and I frequently produce mailings. I currently use Microsoft Word 2002, running on Windows Vista. The printer is connected via a wired router, using TCPIP. My old printer, a large format laser OKI C9600n just died, and I opted to replace it with the HP CP4025n (the HP was roughly only 1/3rd of the cost, which I was happy about). I bought my CP4025n online, and it arrived today. Setup was very easy and error-free using the included HP CD. The printer seems sturdy and basically well designed and constructed. My mailing today consists of 566 letters and 566 No. 10 plain white envelopes. Letters and envelopes both consist of black and white printing (one side only) with a small color graphic. My letter speed ("Tray 2") is blindingly fast (less than 2 seconds per letter), and the graphics are crisp and clear. So I was optimistic when I loaded my envelopes and began printing. My hopes came crashing down when I learned that manual-feed envelopes ("Tray 1") are taking no less than 15 seconds apiece (yes folks, that’s 4 pages per minute - OUCH!!!). So my print job of 566 envelopes is taking me north of 2 hours to feed! Add to that additional delays for “Cleaning…” and "Cooling Device." In all fairness I like that it can clean itself and detect when it is getting too hot and prevent heat damage. When I tried loading more than 12 envelopes at a time, two envelopes jammed, so we're sticking to 12 at a time. I would prefer a straight paper path with side and top exit options rather than the HP's S-curved path with top-only exit option. However, envelopes are tracking well (print is "level" on the envelope) and graphic quality is good. If your manual feed jobs are few and far between, I recommend this printer without reservation. However, getting stuck with 4 pages per minute on large envelope jobs is for the birds! (If someone can get color/graphic envelopes to feed faster than 4 ppm, please share...)

A little difficult to calibrate at first, but once we got it working correctly it was fast, clean and quiet. Love the printer.

we bought this printer for the office. I printed some pictures on cardstock paper to test the print quality. WOW!!!!They look just as good as if they were printed on photo paper (not as shiny) but the best I have seen. We own 4 hp printers (2 hand me downs) and have gotten many years of use. I think i will save and purchase one like this for the home...... The only downside is the ink is very very pricey,
