Works well, easy to install, but the price is a joke. For 2 trays I can buy a new printer, with all expensive guts. The tray is just a piece of plastic with a few movable elements. Total rip-off.

Finally, I can load a full ream at a time
After years of constantly having a half ream of paper laying around until the tray ran out, I can now load a full ream at a time. Installation couldn't be simpler, literally remove a couple pieces of shipping tape, then just set the printer down on top of this tray. The printer prompts you for the paper size that is loaded into the tray, and away you go. Couldn't be happier with it.

Cannot use MULTIPLE EXTRA trays
This paper tray will fit below the HP models in the specification, however, if you need more than one EXTRA paper tray, this unit will not work. This tray cannot be stacked on top of one another. It is intended as a single unit, 3rd tray only (you cannot purchase two of these and make a 4th tray).

Good qualioby, but cumbersome
The quality of the printing and the scans is very good and the sheet feeder for scanning works well. The software interface for scanning controls is cumbersome, though, and requires too many steps. The single sheet feeder often feeds paper (when printing on legal size) crooked despite care in feeding.

Works Great, no Issue.
This was an expensive add on, however we have no complaints with its functionality. It was completely plug and play and was easy to install.

Tremendous Service
I bought an extra drawer for our laser printers in the office. Our customer service rep. was awesome and took care of everything. Things worked perfect and I contacted the rep. to place an additional order a week later. Very satisfied!

You have the option for additional addresses and credit cards but the cart does not have option to change to them like Amazon?s cart does.

I bought this because I print out hundreds of documents a day and needed more bange for my printer and this definitely changed how I felt about my printer. This saves time with reloading paper and has made my printing projects a breeze!

Great addition!
Time is money. By adding this extra tray has increased my efficiency by 100%. Every file I receive has both letter and legal, and with this addition, I can move at speeds that allow me to accomplish more each day which increases revenue.

I love my Laser Jet HP M404DW. I purchased the extra drawer that holds 500 sheets of paper, I am able to print my loan packages in no time. This is the perfect printer for my business as a mobile notary

It's amazing!
Shipping was quick, it was easy to assemble, & it's amazing that it fits 1 whole ream of paper in the printer now. I do a lot of printing for work, so it's nice to fill the printer with paper every few hours when before I was doing it roughly every 20 minutes.

Great printer
1 month ago I purchased an M404dn for my workgroup after our 15+ year-old P4014dn failed. I also purchased the optional third paper tray. The printer has worked very well for us. It is fast, prints crisp text, was easy to setup on our network, and paper tray 3 was plug and play. Overall, it was a great buy and I highly recommend this printer.
