Shopper : Do you need a memory card?ANJA P : yes you do...GREGORY P : No, there is 128MB of built in storage.BROOKE L : I do believe you need a memory card but they are so cheap nowadays it hardly makes a difference pricewise. You can find a great deal on a 2gig SD card (which will fit 500-1000 photos) for about $2-5. I would, however, advise getting a memory card regardles of whether or not one is needed. Usually the internal memory on these digital devices is so small that it's impossible to fit more than a few photos. Just my two cents. -B. L.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for my wife, she absolutely loves it. I received it in time to load a few pictures on it so she could see it as soon as she unpacked it. She immediately placed it in a prime location in the living room and looks at it every time she walks by.
