PIECE OF JUNK - READ BEFORE PURCHASE
While this printer prints fine, it is the WORST design ever for when the paper ejects. The paper will cut and then dump into the flimsy mesh basket below and curl up into balls. When you print a 50 page blue print you will have 50 curled up out of order pages that have to be flattened, reordered by page number and realigned so that the corners line up before you can even bind it or staple it. SOOOOO time consuming!!! Also, if the paper roll runs out of paper in the middle of printing the job it will end the job in the que and you will have to figure out where it stopped (after sorting thru all the already printed rolled up tubes of paper) and then resend the job. Paid way too much money for this garbage printer. Customer support had me send them videos and pictures of the issue and they never responded after multiple emails sent to them. Would NEVER buy this printer!

NOT A GREAT START
Still can't use this plotter. Right out of the box--yellow cartridge bad. Can't plot until replaced.

Good printer for the cost
Good quality print on multiple media types.
Switching between roll and tray seems like it automatically changes however it will eject the roll to switch to tray but once the roll ejects it can not switch back and must be manually loaded which is disappointing.
For CAD user this is a good quality for the price.

the only issue is the Roll Size that goes into this unit should be able to accept a 300 ft, roll

EXCELLENT COLOR PLOTTER
This is an excellent plotter for architecture and graphics. Very fast printing.
Wireless, easy paper roll 36 inch wide install and will take letter size paper, can take 40 ml or 300 ml no 728 ink cartridges and cuts paper fast.

Still on the fence
We bought this a few weeks ago. It was easy to put together. But, as of right now we can't get the automatic cutting to work. This is extremely important. So until that issue is resolved I cannot give 5 stars.

Great Printer
We use it for printing blueprints and it works great. Much faster than our old printer and the ability to print from mobile devices is great.

one exception
The T 730 printer is excellent with one exception. If it linked to my laptop as easy as it linked to my android phone it would easily be HP's greatest 36" printer.

Lovely, clean prints
I really dig the ability to print letter pages and the occasional poster. Helps keep the print heads active since I don't make posters everyday. Convenient replacement, as well, since both my printers seemed to be having print head issues that I could not resolve.

T730 - Easy to Assemble and Use
I purchased the T730 to replace a Designjet 800. The printer was easy to assemble - right out of the box - and seems easy to use.

Engineering Printer
This product works as designed for printing engineering drawings for our team. Please note that a roll of paper is not included with this printer and you will have to buy separately. Other than that it works great. The wireless printing is definitely a huge help for our company.
