HP USB Travel Mouse, 1000dpi Movement Resolution

The mouse itself is great. Good size for smaller hands like mine, worked right away when I plugged it in. Moves and tracks smoothly even without a mouse pad. However, HP and DHL/shipping was a nightmare. I got an excessive number of emails (about 6) that the estimated deliver date was Weds, Oct 15. Then an email Sat, Oct 11 that it was delivered, when it wasn't. HP continued to list its status as delivered, but the DHL tracking information said it was at my local post office. I tried to ask the DHL chat bot which post office (there are several in my town), but it couldn't tell me which, it just said it would be delivered by USPS. It never arrived. I eventually managed to get information from the HP chat help and by calling DHL to determine which post office it was at. Calling that post office to try to schedule a new delivery just gave me a busy signal, so finally I just went to the post office in person to pick it up myself. Luckily, they still had it and I was able to get it. Funnily enough, after I actually got it from the post office, I got another email from HP that it was delivered. I don't understand why I had to go through so much trouble.

Tried to save a buck and bought knockoffs first. Result - nothing but problems. Finally bought HP cartridge and it was like the printer was reborn! Worth the extra to circumvent the headaches.

A great mouse for general purpose use. I like the wired type so no need to worry about batteries. Works smoothly, comfortable, has the typical 3 button feature and is a good value.

A new purchase. It seems to function beautifully. However, there are two things I'm not so keen on. (1) It is VERY loud when you click the buttons. There's no way to control the noise. A little distracting. (2) It is low profile compared to my HP mouse at work. I wish it was taller from desktop to the top of the mouse to fit my hand better. Others with large hands may have the same problem.

Works perfectly - plug in and back to the way it was before. Actually - I think this is a better mouse than the previous hp mouse.

Our computers were getting very cranky. Difficult to activate sites and text. Pushing harder on the mouse helped but this did not seem normal. Ordered new mouse and this corrected the problem. Now our computers act new again. Computers are HP-All in One HP-18.

Had a similar model with the old HP logo from 5 years ago that still works. Only had to buy a new one because the scrollwheel clicker required me to press harder for it to register. This is a full-sized mouse that's very ergonomic and a great choice for both lefty's and righty's. The wire is long enough to be tucked away under your setup and because it's wired, doesn't need battery changes. I've been using this mouse as an FPS gaming mouse for years and it has stood up to my abuse. I don't particularly like high-end mice due to the price point. This mouse (and the new replacement that just came in today) is affordable, works PERFECTLY and will last everyone many years. HIGHLY recommend getting this.

So, I got one of these with my desktop 3 odd years ago, and it's only just dying. I've never had a mouse that lasts this long. Would definitely buy again, if I can find it somewhere in the Middle East! Thank you for building such a great product.

I prefer a mouse with a tail, rather than a wireless mouse. I simply feel that the USB mouse is more precise. When my old USB mouse died, I went to the local Wal-Mart to buy another. They no longer have the USB mouse; numerous brands, but all wireless. Thanks to HP for continuing to make the USB mouse available.
