I bought two of these to do CAD work on. I came from two 23" 1980x1200 monitors. The extra size and resolution is nice to have. The monitors are sharp and vibrant. I have not spent a lot of time calibrating colors, for me, out of the box was pretty much fine. I use both Linux and Win 10 for what I do. Under both OSs there are some issues dealing with 4K, no fault of the monitors, all OS and app issues. For Win 10 I set the "size of text, apps, and other items " slider to 125%. This has been fine for the majority of things I do. Some apps I needed to change the size of icons from within the app ( some did this ). Linux took a little more tweaking to get right. Could set the display properties and scaling to get most things to display acceptably, and again a few apps let you tweak the UI from within the app. Some just don't work well at all and I have found alternatives. I am very pleased with these monitors Me

The quality and color display of the monitor is good, but there are problems. The included disk does not provide information dealing with Windows 10, only older versions of Windows. While I ordered two monitors, one arrive July 7th. The second monitor (separate boxes) was 'miss-directed' to another location and is now 'supposed' to be delivered a week later (July 13th), hopefully in good condition. HP customer support has provided no assistance with this problem.

I'm impressed with this monitor. My digital photo images are crisp and clean. It's now very easy to view and post process my images in Lightroom. I've also viewed some 4K sample pics and vids and they are stunning.

Having a 65" 4K television, and 4K camera at 100 MBPS, the next logical step was to upgrade my computer monitor that I use for video editing. The imagery "pops" and clarity of color depth is astounding. A caution being you really need 60Hz refresh rate which requires an expensive GeForce 960 or greater video card, with "display port 1.2" to get the full benefit, thereafter its 4X HD resolution at the same refresh rate we are accustomed to. Setup required tweaks to 52% brightness, and RGB adjusted for grayscale with 250 on RED, and 226 on GREEN, 255 on Blue. Even web browsing and Excel sheets "pop"!@ Highly recommended but again you need display port 1.2 w 60Hz refresh
