In warranty laptop products should first be handled by HP support. If you are unsure of your warranty status please contact HP support and they will let you know whether the product is still under warranty or not . You most likely will able to buy one from hp directly if the product is not under warranty anymore or from other computer sites. If not try to conduct a search on the internet. I was able to find one on ebay, but I cannot emphasize enough that you need to do your research on the product and with the seller before purchasing.

Best PC I've ever owned!

The HP envy 15x2 is the best PC I have owned. It is light weight and is packed with all the features I need to get the job done. I love that this machine doesn't have a fan...always runs silent and I don't have to be that guy with a PC gasping for air. The tablet functionality is awesome and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new PC. My wife has a surface and is determined she will switch to a HP next after tinkering around with my envy 15x2. Awesome product!!!

I want another one!

I bought this to replace my wife's 4 year old HP Pavilon. I really like the features of this computer. It can be used as a laptop or tablet. The computer is very easy to use and makes computing, research and writing fun. I would like to buy another one, but I am waiting until it comes with more on board memory. Overall, a fantastic buy.

Tries more with less, misses the mark

This product seemed like a great option, a laptop that can be a tablet. There are several shortcomings, as it relates to my own needs that I would like to address. - Battery Life: the advertised battery life is woefully overstated, as it can only be achieved by powering down wifi, bluetooth, and by dimming the screen as much as possible. Considering that the keyboard is bluetooth, this eliminates much of the functionality. - Keyboard: Speaking of the keyboard, whoever thought to ship the computer with the windows power-saving feature (of powering down the bluetooth radio when operating of battery) enabled should seriously take a look at practicality. My machine required re-installing the bluetooth driver everytime the powersaving feature turned it off. Secondly, the lack of a ten-key pad, and of home and end keys, is a serious shortcoming. The keyboard has plenty of real-estate, and I personally would gladly trade some keyboard battery life in order to move the trackpad down below the keyboard, and make it a full 101-103 key style keyboard. - Camera: To operate effectively as a tablet, the lack of a rear-facing camera is a serious shortcoming that should be immediately remedied. The forward facing camera is barely adequate, and is much worse than most cellphones have available, which is also very disappointing. - Buttons: To be an effective tablet, the power/sleep button should either be recessed or protected by a raised surrounding, as it is way too sensitive, activating sleep mode when barely brushed by the users hand. - HP Active Pen: This accessory purchase for this machine works fairly well with the tablet screen, tracking nicely, with reasonably quick response, and good pressure sensitivity, but the buttons tend to stick, don't have a positive click feedback, and again, like on the tablet, should have a raised surround to prevent accidental click. The AAAA battery lasts only about 3 weeks, with only using the pen maybe once every third or fourth day, for no more than 10 minutes at a time. If all of these issues were addressed, I would recommend this product, with the caveat that people should really know if they need the big screen, as it is a little cumbersome when used as a tablet. In it's current form factor, if I had to do it again, I would get a separate laptop and tablet, as both would provide better functionality for each purpose.
