I have owned the HP Envy 15 since December of 2014, and honestly I love. The only down-draw that I have is that when I updated in July to windows10 *which i dont recommend* I started to have wifi issues, it would not locate my wifi so i would have restart many times for it to click. i am not the only person that had the issue to may it was a 10 issue. Onward, the slim design is great for small spaces like a dorm room or just a small bedroom all together, you dont need to have a desk as its a full computer in tablet mode also. i find that i really like having access to the games in the xbox live area, tho i dont own an xbox i like to hook a controller up and play the games every down and then. sometimes it is a little slow, and sometimes you do have to restart it.. *come on guys its still a computer* Things i LOVE- there is NO FANS to break or make loud noises or over heat.. omg its so amazing to have a computer that acts like my phone in that aspect. i couldnt stand the sound of the fans on my last computer. i love that the speakers are loud with out having to plug in other speakers also. movies look great on this screen and the fact that you can run programs side by side is awesome too! i can watch a movie and be on other websites as well. i honestly would recommend this computer if its in their price range. ive not had a problem with anything on it other than the win10 wifi issue.. and i no longer have it since i went back to 8.1 and i will not go to 10. so for a student who needs stuff to fit in a small space or for someone who just doesnt have space its a great fitting computer, with or with out using the keyboard. which is great if you dont like using lights at night with the backlit keyboard.

I love this computer. It has everything I wanted. (can be used as a tablet, great speakers, great design). I did have an issue with the BIOS but HP tech COMPLETELY fixed it by connecting to my computer and installing a brand new one. They even called back a week later to see if everything still worked. I bought direct from HP and I would recommend that way of purchase. Overall very very satisfied.

I thought I was getting a device with an active stylus I asked a simple question and got a email link to buy a stylus on the HP web site it is pretty clear now after purchasing numerous stylus and one that works you buy in the dollar store . The Key pad is very nice the problem is the touch pad (clickpad) is much larger and sensitive and you can not disable the pad causing the cursor to move all over , Tech Support remotely tried a work around to no avail this problem goes back to the products introduction years ago supposedly the advanced team is going to reach out and fix . NOT GOING TO HAPPEN the keyboard is Bluetooth and the designer /engineer missed it Rotation of the screen does not seem to work any more either I am done dealing with HP I bought the unit from them direct had 30 days to decide I try to do my home work before buying and I picked the unit based on the screen capabilities I am a designer and I sketch and I do not use my finger I review product specs and can not rotate documents to portrait mode better off using my 8 inch reader . And my typing skills are average at best but with the click pad issue, sending short email messages is pure punishment I have only used HP equipment for 30 years exclusively I guess it time to start dating again

I've had it a week now and I love it. The HD screen looks great! The mocha brown keyboard cover is pretty ugly to be honest but I am really happy with my purchase. The 13 inch size is great to use as a tablet or laptop

Looked like a great computer in the store but had to return it a couple days after I bought it because of an issue with the BIOS that caused it to restart all the time and scrambled the display. The store could not figure out what was wrong, so they agreed to replace it entirely. The second computer worked well for a few weeks until the keyboard stopped responding. Didn't get any notification as to why, but when I explored the issue in the Control Panel, all it said was that Windows shut down the keyboard because of a problem. Didn't specify what the problem was or how tp go about fixing it, so I'm left with a non-functioning keyboard now. I'm returning this computer for a second time and going with a different brand entirely. It's a real shame too because I really wanted to like this computer. Other issues were that I could not type well using the keyboard when it DID work; it was always positioning the cursor in different places on the screen while I was typing making me spend more time correcting what I typed than actually typing it. Could not figure out how to temporarily disable the touch pad. The down button (arrow) worked when it wanted to - which was not often. The display - while beautiful and sharp - gets awful glare on the screen if you're using it in any environment other than a dark room. I think this product is in need of some serious reworking, honestly.
