Works beautifully!

We bought this printer about 4 weeks ago and it cranks out maybe 200 pages a day or more without a hiccup; nice looking printing, not spidery or thin; handy little touch screen to manage settings. The printer is on our office network and works well for that. We highly recommend it.

Constant Jamming

We purchased an M506x for a high volume printing location. After about a week the printer would jam on a fairly regular basis when pulling from tray 2 or tray 3. If you tried to print duplex it would jam even more often. It also started to curl the print jobs toward the end of that one week period even after messing with the curl options on the printer. With these issues on a one week old printer I figured it was a fluke. So we returned it for another one of the same model. After about a week all the same problems arose and we returned that one as well. We are now on the hunt for a better quality printer. Do not buy this model, it has some issues that need to be fixed by HP.

dual tray letter and legal size

I purchased the enterprise printer to print pdf's with both letter and legal sized pages. With Adobe thay are cut off and with pages it can't be done. Tech support is doing their homework on this issue, did not get back with me.

Very disapointed

Being a new generation of printers, we've been extremely disappointed with this model and the other 4 we purchased when they first launched with all the improvements for JetIntelligence. All have been having issues with page curling, some minor, for the 506x models it's been severe to where they roll off the back of the printer. This is something that never happened on any of our prior HP printers, nor had anything changed other than the printers. These are also more prone to jamming than the larger previous models. Personally, I would recommend not buying these models if the issues can't be worked out, potentially looking into the new PageWide Enterprise, or another brand.

Worst HP Enterprise Printer Yet

We purchased 2 of these units a couple months ago for our staff initially impressed by the new toner and updated design. From the start we've had nothing but trouble with both units, jamming with print jobs of around 40-50 pages, or 'curling' of pages coming out and falling off the printer with the 2nd unit. Of all the HP Printers we've never seen these types of issues with out of the box units before and are extremely disappointed.
