Previous printers for our department were the HP4350 & HP4515, they were great till they died. We have owned this in our department for 1 month. We ran out of ink and needed new ink and purchased the 81x as the 81a cartridge has enough ink for 10,000 pages and the 81x 25,000. HOWEVER the 81x does NOT fit in this printer. The m605 and m606 take both A & X cartridges. Why would ANYONE create an ENTERPRISE printer that takes a low-fill cartridge? I also find this printer slower than the HP4350 it replaced. M604dn does not (by default) stop printing when the ink runs out. Wish we could return it for a 605/606 instead, HP must really HATE the environment. It will cost you more to print, as the 81x has 2.5 the print capacity for a bit more money.

I was hesitant to order this printer since the price was almost $200 lower than the market, thinking that this should be a refurbished unit, but the unit arrived, clean but I can tell that all the stirofoam packaging material was broken in pieces, why I dont know, but the printer was flawless, and works like a champ. Good customer service, Email follow up system-Ups Tracking and all the way to the end and reporting back my satisfaction to ADORAMA. Trust Worthy.

We bought this printer to replace an old HP printer and as usual HP printers are strong and reliable. This printer is fast and works well for the 12 people who share it. We even print our checks with it.

This is our 3rd M604 and no issues as of yet. The work out of the box and connect to our Network effortlessly.
