Shopper : Anyone print to this printer from an from an ipad?SHELIA B : Yes, I have and it was cery simple and easy to load the app unto my ipad. I connected my ipad to my desktop and loaded the printer onto it and created my own app icon.TRENT K : Yes. You must install the latest firmware to enable AirPrint capabilities if it not already installed. The iOS device and printer must be on the same wireless network (unless you can VPN) in order for the iOS device to discover and print to the printer.ELAINE B : I have never printed from an ipad, or other wireless device. I'm sorry that I am not able to help you! :(NANCY Y : Yes, I can print documents from my iPhone and iPad using this printer. However, you will need to do the following to be able to work: (1) Go to the HP Web site downloading the new drivers. (2) HP has two printer apps in iTunes store. However, they don’t work at all, even their new updates. HP apps cannot find their own printers. I use Printer Pro app. You can download it and test it before you buy it. After your test print, you can print a picture or a document to see if it works. The free one seems to work for me. (3) If the printer cannot print, such as the app finds the printer but cannot print. Try to connect your computer to the printer using a USB cable. It solved my problems.
Shopper : does this have a scanner too ?TRENT K : No, this is only a color laser printer. It does support eprint/airprint via the wireless connection if you use an iOS device.WILLIAM M : This is just a great printer, does not scan or faxBRAD A : No, It is not an all-in-one device, just a printer.DAVE G : No it prints only.NANCY Y : No scanner.LARRY F : There is no scanner with this printer. It IS a great color laser printer for the price! I've had a lot of experience with color printers and am thinking about buying a second one because I like the quality of and performance of this little unit. so much. No, I don't work for Adorama, but I would recommend their store to anyone.THOMAS C : No... No scanner on this model. But it is a terrific color laserjet in a small package!MARY G : No, it is strictly a printer.MARC B : No, this printer does not have a scanner. Usually to get a scanner as well as a printer, you would look at the HP Officejet series, which is a printer/scanner/copier/fax. Hope this helps.TAKY C : Its a color laser printer, not an all-in-one multipurpose printer. TRANG P : No. This is just a printer.
Sherry T : How much is the ink for this printer?Leonides S : Is this brand new or refurbished?ELAINE B : Sherry, if you look, you should be able to find the ink for this printer in the neighborhood of $34.00. I wish I could tell you the name of the website where I purchase my ink from. The remanufactured cartridges are almost half of what the original ones are.SHAYA T : <a href="http://www.adorama.com/IHPCE313A.html" target="_blank">http://www.adorama.com/IHPCE313A.html</a> Our apologies, it will shortly be added to the accessory list. :-)

Great printer, fast shipping.

I have been searching for an affordable, compact, color laser printer for a long time. We travel to Africa and HP is the only thing they can fix easily over there so that is what I was searching for. This one was perfect. Right out of the box, I set up the wireless system of printing. Then, the next time I wanted to print, it wouldn't work. I had to uninstall it completely so that I could print by USB cable instead. Not a big deal, but a little complicated. We printed 120 full-page, color newsletters in a short time, using about half of the introductory toner. Thank you Adorama for the good price and free shipping.

I am well please with my product!

I am proud of my HP printer and HP the company, their products are the "bomb" and this new (to me) company Adorama is a compny I would buy from again and recommed to my family, friends and anyone that want great products at resonable and descent prices. I am really glad I came across this company and look forward to dealing with them in the future and soon. Again, "Thanks"!

Don't bother...

Bought this for the office direct from HP online store. Color Laserjet that's eprint capable. Love the concept and was a good price on sale. Complete junk. Issues arose when we experienced a power outage. Oh, surprise! It's summer. Power outages happen. Printer decided to reconfigure itself on reboot. After uninstalling the printer on all of the office computers, hard rebooting the printer and reinstalling on all computers, it has decided to double or triple print all documents. Called tech support. Told me my warranty expires in 10 months. I said no 1 year warranty? They state their records show it was purchased in May, not July. Really? Bought it directly from you last week... Want to install invasive software so they can control my laptop and printer. Wouldn't install. Complete junk. Tired of paying my IT department to fix HP's issues. I've got about a grand into this piece of junk already. Only workaround? Disable bidirectional communications. Perfect. Junk. Going back to Xerox, much better quality.

Great printer...But

This is a great printer for home. Colors are excellent. But very slow in printing.. Noisy too when rotating the carousel of carthages. Poor documenation to install the carthages, but I figured this out. Other wise I'm very pleased with the product.

printer: so far, so good

Purchased the printer direct from HP. It arrived in a few short days. Set up was easy taking very little time. It worked right out of the box. Fortunately, I had purchased over the years a number of HP printers. I was familiar with the set-up procedure. However, the instruction sheet was as brief as I've seen for any product. There was a lack of information & instruction re: the color cartridges, how to install, etc. The printer is good...the instructions = louszeeeee (sic).

brilliant colors, easy to use

A welcome relief from 2 color laser printers of 2 other brands I had been struggling to print with. I wish I had bought an HP to start with, as it is so much easier to use, takes up half the desk space, and prints brilliant colors every time.

Not recommended

I have had the printer for a year already. Although the print quality is very good, it is also very slow. It also makes all these strange random noises at odd times. Sometimes my documents will take a long time to print as the machine seems to be preparing itself to accept the information and print and other times just prints. If you don't mind waiting a while for your documents to print and have patiences this is for you. If not, get something quieter and faster.

Excellent Printer

I previously had an HP Laserjet 4 Plus printer for almost 20 years, and it still worked just fine until I had to purchase a new computer and there were no drivers for the older printer. I purchased the HP Laserjet Pro and could not be more pleased. The print quality is excellent and the color is vibrant. I knew I wanted another laser printer and would highly recommend this one to anyone.

Exceeded my expatiations

I received my product sooner than expected, and the installation held true to other reviews I read. Set up was easy by following all the prompts. It was up and running in no time. The wireless printer is awesome and I now have two computers in our home connected to our new printer. I used ink jet printers for years felt it was time to upgrade to laser. It has surpassed all my expatiations, by far one of the best printer purchases I have made in a long time, and the picture quality if fabulous. I cannot say enough about customer service. Each person that I spoke to along the way provided me outstanding service from the beginning to the end and everything in-between. Thank you HP!

For Personal Use

OK for color if you are printing a few pages. A good printer for personal use. Prints beautiful color copies on good paper. It makes a lot of noise and is slow printing color. It has to stop and cool down too often to print jobs (not for large desktop publishing jobs). The output tray does not accommodate 8.5 x 14 paper very well. The toner cartridges will show no copies left but the cartridge is not completely empty at the time.

two printers both bad

I purchased a new cp1025nw. With less than 100 pages through it the pickup rollers were bad (still under warranty). I sent it back, received a refurbished printer. With less than 100 pages later I started getting a fuser error. Tech support said it was over 1 year from the first purchase so I had to pay for a tech to repair it. GARBAGE PRINTER.

a little disappointing

1. I have 3 computers to use with the CP1025 laser printer and it is working on 2 of the 3 -- but on the Mac, I cannot get it to print out. 2. It cannot handle simple request to do two sided printing of a multipage document. The instructions are clear on how to do 2-sided, but when you follow them the printer will not pick up the paper to do the 2nd side.

Problematic for Apple

I have an Apple and was led to believe that this would be a good wireless printer for my laptop and one I could use with my iPad. There were problems from the beginning starting with the fact that the disc that came with the printer does not work with the newest operating system (Lion) so I had to go online and download the relevant software. To date I have not been able to get the wireless to work consistently. The instructions that come in the box contain no troubleshooting tips and the online information has not gotten me very far. I'm still trying so I am hoping that one day it will work. But this is way too much trouble. Maybe it works better with PCs or older versions of the Mac software but so far this is a real pain. Had I known it was going to be such a hassle I would have happily spent more for a printer which would have worked out of the box with the Lion operating system.

Great Investment

Over the years of purchasing ink for a ink jet printer just in time to find out that the ink dried up when ready to print. No we don't print that often - but nothing is more frustrating to know you continue to waste money on ink for it to dry up. Therefore, in the past several months my husband I decided to invest in a home (small) laser printer. After several months of research and reading many reviews we settled on the hp1025nw. So far what a great purchase! This printer was easy to set up and so far the printing has been easy and most of all to know that the ink wasn't going to be dry! We highly recommend this printer to anyone who is looking for a small yet effective home laser printer. I would also like to note that the purchase from hp direct was easy and the delivery was awesome. We received out printer in 2 days. Cordially.

not really air print ready

It's a good laser printer and it works wireless, but if your looking for air print enable printer this unit is not for you. it will require software downloads . I wasn't able to get it to work. And I bought this mainly for my ipad/2. The photo smart printers are a better choice. I ultimately bought the office jet pro 8600 and that work right out of the box. I wish hp had a laser printer that was print enable . But the cp1025 is a good laser printer that works wireless.

Good product

Loved the ease of installation. This printer produces beautiful documents and prints very quickly. The only problem I have with this machine is the fact that it is a little noisy. But that is a small drawback.

as a network printer does not work

I've owned this garbage printer for about 8 months now. I have yet to get it to work reliably via the wireless network. Every time I go to print a document nothing. During the day it does stuff warms up spins up but when I want to print nothing. It is nothing but a $200 desk weight. I will never buy another HP printer after this experience again.

Best printer purchase

I really like HP products. I have 2 HP printers and they are great. I like the size of the CP1025. It fits places the bigger printers won't.

Nice Printer

I had an old HP 2500L color laser printer that finally quit working after 8 years. Rather than try to repair it, I bought a CP1025nw as a replacement. It probably would have cost me more to repair the old one! I've already printed two runs of 65 pages, one with colored text, and the other containing a photo and graphics. Impressive. The printing quality of the photo and graphics was outstanding. The text was crisp. The CP1025nw has a smaller footprint and is more compact that my old printer, and much less noisy. For an entry-level color laser, you cannot beat this printer. I realized the stock toner cartridges aren't going to last long, so I bought a set of replacement cartridges at the same time. I would buy another one if I needed it, and would definitely recommend it to any friend.

Great Value

This printer is a great value to be a color LaserJet printer. Although you have to plug it into your printer to set it up, it works great wirelessly after it's set up. I use it with an iMac, MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad, so the AirPrint feature on it is great. Although it's not the fastest printer I have used in the past, the other features outweigh the speed. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from an InkJet printer and still wants to print in color.

worst HP printer

Absolutely worst laserjet printer from HP. Material feels like cheap plastic. Printer does not feel solid or well fit like other HP products. Buttoms on printer do not feel the positive clicking when pushed. Extremely difficult to change cartridge. Actually broke one cartridge while changing it. Cartridge easily breakable. This is one that makes me lose faith in HP printers.

Basic color laserjet printer

For a small home office this is a wonderful color laser printer. It produces perfect business cards, in black and white or color. Set up was very easy, wireless printing is very handy. Though if you need auto feed for two sided printing you'll have to look elsewhere. But as a basic color laser printer this is a marvel for the price. It produces crisp and clear type on your copy. And as far as the cost of the toner I have seen much worse.Plus I have already printed hundreds of business cards with black and color type on two sides and regular letter page printing and have only used 10% of the starter black toner and none of the color toners. I would have to say it is pretty good with the amount of toner it uses to do its job. With the auto on and off feature and relatively quick start up time I am very pleased with this printer.

Great home printer

This printer is great. I bought this to us AirPrint with it and it delivers on that. My only problem with it was that it shipped with old firmware and it took me an hour to find the new firmware update. Prints beautifully and it's nice and quite!

Has met every expectiation

By UncleJerm76

I've giving this 5 stars because it meets all my expectations, but its not a perfect printer for everyone. Cons: Its noisier, slower & power cycles itself off if idle for too long unlike other laserjets. The papertray only holds about 120 sheets and the output tray only holds about 50. Pros: But its inexpensive, has AirPrint, built-in WiFi print, and cant be any easier to setup and get going out of the box. Conclusion: If you are a low-volume casual printer who prints receipts, movie tickets ...
