waisted days trying to set up this printer. Spent 1 ½ hrs with HP tech, finally she said return it an get a different one. Xfinity sent out a tech, after 2 hrs., he said he couldn't help me.

Works well. Installation was harder than expected because printer was not listed in dropdown menu. Could not enter manually. Online help was required. Kind of a pain.

This is my first laser printer. Since I do not print much very often, I bought it because I was tired of paying high prices for ink cartridges that would dry up after not using them for a few months. The printer itself was easy to setup and use. The speed is adequate for what I need to use it for, and the size is very compact (it can sit on a bookshelf easily). The downsides are that is seems very cheaply made (as with most printers now-a-days), the paper holding tray sticks out from the printer, and the flatbed scanner is not very good quality (cover not weighted, dust can get in easily, slow). Overall, it seems ok and decent enough provided you can get it on sale.

Set up was quick and easy, printed one test page but then unit would not power up again. HP tech on the phone was helpful through diagnosis but the unit still wouldn't power up. Customer assistance was helpful for setting up easy return. Opted for a refund as I didn't have confidence in another printer. Bad product, great people.

This printer would be fine if the scan feature worked. Mine arrived quickly, the print function from the computer to the printer worked fine but the scan hardware did not work so the copier function and document scan features did not work. Cudos to the technician Raj who diagnosed the problem and warrantied the new printer. Undoubtly the printer got damaged in shipping through FEDEX.

Printer works as expected, but issues with some formats. For example does not work with Microsoft pdf files, only works with adobe acrobat files. Also, occasionally has problem with double sided printing.

I am enjoying it so far I like how easy it is to print from my phone and it is very quiet when it prints. Also I enjoy the fact that I don't have to be in the same room as the printer in order for it to print as I did with my old printer.

I love this printer. I was worried after my last one, which I barely used, because it rarely worked when I needed it. I'm a moderate user - printing a few times per month, as needed. This printer was rated as a top laser printer in an article I read and so far it's been meeting all of my needs. I've always had inkjet printers so this is my first laser. It's so much less of a headache and the print jobs are fast and clear. It was easy to set up and the wireless capability is very handy. The only con is that I wish it came in different colors (ex. black) so it looked a bit more modern, but otherwise no complaints yet. I have not used the copy or scan features yet, but don't imagine there should be any issues. One point to note is that it's surprisingly compact. It looked bigger in the pictures, but actually takes up less surface space, than my old one.

If you need a simple black and white printer that is user friendly, easy to set up and use, then I recommend you get this! The ability to also have an app to print from your phone makes things very as well, no having to always be on a PC or laptop to print important documents.

The printer is a good size for our small office space. It looks simple and fits with our laptop. Wireless printing makes it easier to print from my phone without having to start up the laptop. The printer printed fast. Setup was easy to put together.

I was impressed by how smoothly we could set up the printer through the HP smart app. After that, I can now easily print from my computer on the floor below the printer or from my phone. I have also printed onto cardstock paper and it feeds and prints smoothly. I like how quick and simple the setup was and the quality of the print.

This printer is so easy and efficient! The print is super sharp and clear and sending print jobs to the printer remotely is easy. Even when I am upstairs I can send a document to the printer and it works perfectly. The other day the printer got offline and it was so easy to get it back online and working, even though I really had no idea what I was doing. The phone app and computer app makes the process very simple. If you want a great printer that is simple to set up and use, then this is the printer you want.

This printer works exceptionally well. It did not have any issues with bleeding or smearing of the ink. The paper glided smoothly without jamming. It's very compact and easy to fit into places. It's appealing to the eye. The ink was a but hard to put in it. Very satisfied with this printer.

We needed a multi purpose printer that could print at a high speed, good quality and be cheap given that me and my husband do a lot of printing at home and thus needed to bring down costs. We also had to replace our current inefficient printer. I tried this laserjet from HP and frankly was pleasantly surprised with the world class print quality, speed that brought down the overall costs to us. I create a number of creative projects for work as well as with my 6 year old and this printer has been a life saver. I just wish that it could do color. I would highly recommend this as an addition to your home office!

I was in disbelief when i got the package. I didn't think this could possibly be the printer. After unpacking I was amazed at the size and quality of this printer. It fits almost anywhere, even in a tight office. Setup was super easy with it's own mobile app. Prints as good or better than any other laser printer I've ever owned at a fraction of the size and cost. This is the perfect printer if you print a lot of pages as the printer is quick and accurate. Even if you only print occasionally, the fact that it's a laser means you don't have to worry about ink drying up or clogging. The copying and scanning are quick and very high quality. Just the right size flatbed for what you would normally need. All in all I think this is a great black & white printer for any home or small business.

I have been surprised with the high speed yet not compromising on quality for print, or copy. I love how this HP LaserJet M139 printer was easy to set up and use almost right out of the box after following the detailed instructions on how to place the ink cartridge inside the printer. This printer was very easy to set up with the HP Smart app to print black and white documents from either my phone or pc's WiFi. The Easy ID copying for placing both sides of the ID cards onto one side of paper is very useful! The paper tray can handle up to 150 sheets and print up to 19 ppm which I found very impressive when printing out all my school assignments. The black and white only ink I feel should save me from having to spend more on color ink, which I don't use. The compact design helps me save work space while still having a professional appearance.
