Great Display
This HP monitor provides a crisp, clear, colorful display in a very thin form with a barely there outside frame. In fact, the frame around the top of the display is so small the clamp on my webcam covers a portion of the tab area of the browser. I purchased two of these displays for my desktop PC. The color matching out of the box was perfect and the PC located and setup both displays with no drama.
Display #1 is connected via HDMI while display #2 is connected from the DisplayPort connector on the PC by a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter cable. Both connectors provide HD video and audio output so sound can be sent to either of the monitors.
These displays have built in stereo speakers that can be driven by the HDMI connection. The onboard speakers are, to be kind, tiny and tinny. If all you need is sound for feedback, the speakers will do the trick. But if you plan to listen to music, play sound intensive games, or watch videos, you will want to use standalone speakers with this monitor.
In addition to a great product, the folks at HP delivered both monitors and a new PC via no-cost, standard shipping within 3 days of the purchase. Great customer service!
I have used these monitors for about two months with no issues and would recommend them to a friend.

Fantastic and Good Looking Monitor
I don't know why it was so hard to find a monitor that looked good, was a light color on the outside and had a sharp display. But, it was. And I'm happy to report that this one exceeds expectations in all those areas. As a bonus, the sound in it is very good.

Faulty monitors
The identical monitors I purchased are two different heights! Off 6/16ths. Cannot be adjusted. I bought the same two for side by side work and this is extremely frustrating when trying to use them for complex work. Customer support is horrible! On the phone for over an hour and transferred 7 times! Incompetent HP staff. Chat is a waste of time. Return pending. Defective products! Not happy. Don't waste your time or money.

HP M24fwa Backlit monitor
The monitor is great. Very clear and crisp image. I like HP products, it is the "after sale support" that I am not thrilled about. I had problems with the set-up and trying to get through and get help was darn near impossible. You have great products, it is the rest of HP that needs work.

The sound quality is like a Winston Churchill speech
Set up is easy and the picture is good. However, the speakers are horrible! They sound like a speech from Winston Churchill. Even if you were just listening to audio books they would still be bad.

My new HP M24fwa Backlit Monitor white
I like my HP M24fwa Backlit Monitor white. I was surprised at how light weight and thin it is, and I was really happy that it was easy to assemble. I have never had a monitor like this before. I did have to call HP Support to help me adjust the volume because it was too low, but HP Support was very helpful, and they were able to help me to adjust the volume on the menu on the monitor.

Works great.
Good for an inexpensive basic monitor. Not HDR or 4/8K compatible. Nice design, very slim!

Broke quickly and more expensive to replace than buy new
Monitor is extremely fragile and broke within 5 months of owning it. Something cracked inside making it unusable, but it has just been sitting on my desk. Called service for assistance and they offered to send me a replacement for $102 OVER my original purchase price. Would not recommend.

This is a very nice monitor with good resolution. I had some issues connecting it as the only option is an HDMI connection. My laptop docking station did not have any available HDMI ports.

Mobile and easy to transport.
Using this as a portable monitor with my HP Envy. It is light weight and a great picture. I can manage setting it up almost anywhere to have a second screen when I am working on the laptop or presenting.

Broken Within 8 Months Of Owning It
I bought this monitor not even a year ago and somehow the HDMI port is broken causing a green line to appear on the right side of the monitor. Such a cheaply made monitor for such a price, would not buy again.

After only a few weeks of use, the displayed images and text are very good. Not sure about the eye ease feature but hopeful that it helps. Did have some trial and error in getting the audio to work with windows and apps; for Zoom you need to select the monitor in the zoom settings.

So Good That I Replaced Both My Monitors
Very clear, easy set-up and like the way the assembly handles grouping the wiring together. Liked it so much that I bought another one the next week.

Won't work with standard dual-monitor mounts...
Decent display. Great buy for the bundle price. The only downside is that these are not compatible with the standard dual monitor mounts. The mounting bracket adapters are running $30 each. So the great deal I got for the two monitors will be recouped in the cost of buying the brackets. ??
