quiet and fast

We have a total of 6 trays for output. Took us a while to configure to use with 2nd page, but now works great. Secretary very happy with it.

Replaced HP 4250dn

So far very pleased with this printer. We average 10,000 to 15,000 pages per month. Have printed with HP 4250dn the last 10 years. So far the M608x prints twice as fast with half the noise.

M605 was a better printer. We had to upgrade

Had lots of problems with the printer when we first setup it. Picking up multiple pieces of paper at one time. A couple of errors. Driver issues. We have been able to make it work. Keeping it because we don't have a choice.

Pros and Cons

I bought 2 of these about a month ago and had to have one replaced due to failure to communicate with tray 3. The replacement process was not as seamless as I thought it would be. I was on the phone for at least an hour total, most of the time on hold as the rep had to continually refer to other people. The paper trays also feel a bit flimsy, but they work properly, so not a big concern. I feel like I could have gotten the same quality with a less expensive HP model. Other than that the printer works well - high speed printing with good quality and no jams as of yet.

HP LaserJet Enterprise M608x

Only been using this printer for approximately two weeks, but so far I'm impressed with the speed, print quality, and it's quietness. The printer was printing an extra page with every document, and flipping the page like it was printing on both sides, even though the document was only one page. My co-worker discovered that if you set the printer on the EcoSMART setting it no longer did that. Love being able to print labels and envelopes that look nice. Overall I would give it a 4 star rating.
