I just bought this camera a little over a week ago. I went on vacation this last week. The camera had broke while gone. I still used it for the whole vacation (broke on the last day) it is a great camera. It is very easy to use, looks very nice, and overall a great deal. I put the pictures on my computer and they came out so great. Not only that but I contacted HP about my broken camera they contacted me right back. I now have a new one on the way. The customer service has been great and I am very happy with this purchase.

it is my first digital camera and the only i thing i dont like about is the fact that i have to use vista windows exclusively just to download the pics. I use windows 2000 Pro. So I cant download my pics. Another thing is the unit itself only holds about 2 (8mb) or 5 (5mb) or 9 (3mb). So as you could see it does not have no memory. Would need a memory card. Overall, Alrite. Nice clear pics and steady shot is real helpful.

I decided to keep the camera for the pet eye removal and the cool designer features. Outdoor and in full sun, pictures are fine. indoor shots leave much to be desired. I use my Hp 707 mostly, but this camera is fun. The large screen is cool, and very easy to use.

I replaced an Olympus C700 Ultra Zoom which had a 30x zoom for this amazing Point & Shoot Camera. At first glance one could be fooled into thinking an Mz67 isn't much of a digital camera at all, but you would be seriously mistaken! For only an inch THIN the HP Mz67 packs in EVERY feature one would expect in a digital camera and more at an astonishing price! Remember, you get what you play for! Not only will find 8 MegaPixel Resolution, 48x total zoom (6x Optical by 8x digital), Steady Photo, and PictBridge, you get probably the hottest feature yet. The Mz67 accepts SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) for extra large storage capacities! Add a killer software package like the HP In-Camera Red-Eye Removal and Photosmart Software you'll wonder why you don't own this camera yet. The pictures are absolutely stunning and you can store them by the thousands, literally, when using an SDHC Memory Card. The only draw back is so minute it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the camera itself. I wish there was a sturdy leather case and rechargeable batteries included or at least offered as a package. If you wanted to buy the camera separately, so be it - and at the same time, if you wanted to grab the camera as a whole package you could have that possibility too! You will be truly amazed with the exceptional high quality of the digital images you've taken. But you'll be even more amazed of the detail and quality packed into this little 6.5 ounce camera. Way to go Hewlett-Packard!

I purchased this camera in early October 2007 after the main carry around camera I use everyday developed internal lens debris that showed on every exposure. I carry a camera with me strapped to a belt loop camera case. I take a few thousand images every year with digital cameras. The HP Mz67 is a little thicker than some cameras, since the lens does not retract fully into the camera body. (I have a different camera that is a lot slimmer). This thickness is sometimes a problem and it is too bad the lens design did not allow for lens retraction into the camera body. The 6X zoom factor is a nice feature, however, to avoid camera shake and blurred images, a tripod needs to be used in most zoom situations. This might be less of a factor if the "image stabilization" was automatic or just a single button press. Unfortunately, activating the stabilization requires menu access and about six button presses. This is not something that can be done quickly (or very easily at all when wearing gloves). Again, too bad the feature is not automatic, it would be a lot more useful if it were. I am also seeing some debris problem again in my images with this camera. Since the lens system requires a power up and lens extension takes place to take pictures and for zooming, it is designed in segments, and might be an entry point for dust and other particles to enter the lens system. Again, since I carry the camera with me all of the time doing ranch chores (including handling hay bales and the like) there is always the possibility of dust and particles to get into the camera case and thus into the lens mechanism. Also, sometimes the iris like lens protector does not close completely, so things can get into the front of the lens compartment, too. Don't get the wrong idea, that this is a bad camera. It is not. Just be aware of the factors I mentioned if you, like me, carry your camera with you all of the time. I like the camera and hope some of the weaknesses will be available in the next HP camera I buy.

For the price it is a great camera with features I can use no matter where I'm shooting.I especially like the" theatre"feature which helps in almost any low light situation. The digital focus could use some improvement because of speed, takes too long to actually take the picture;and theMP'S disinegrate as you use that feature. All in all it's a great buy;ready to use.

The minute I sawe the real zoom and the pixels I could not wait to buy this camera. Aside from the normal complaint about the supplied digital software I only have a one ding. This is really my fault and I will say that my situstion is unusual. I take a lot of my pictures from the back of a horse. This camera not having a real viewfinder makes taking pictures sometimes really a hassle. This is really amplified in that I am at and participating in Civil War reenactments. It makes it hard to hide the camera holding same two or three feet in front of my face. I really do love the zoom, the anti shake feature, and the large display screen. The anti movement is great when shooting from horseback. Now the pictures are no longer plagued with the ants in the distance look. HP cameras are very sturdy and stand up well to the pounding associated with being on horseback. I have always liked HP cameras and it was my fault that I did not read the ad carefully.

I have been using an HP850 for the past several years and absolutely love it. This camera is a perfect replacement as it has all of the features (except wide angle) that the 850 does and is about 1/3 the size. I can carry this one in my purse and never miss another photo op. The Mz67 is easy to use and the photos are beautiful. The zoom is not quite as great as the 850 but is close enough to satisfy anyone wanting to take closeups of distant or small objects. I take a lot of pictures of scenery, animals, flowers, sunsets, etc. I am very pleased with the results I've had from this camera, so far!

I have been working with digital photos and digital cameras for many years, but only recently purchased a HP Mz67 as my first digital camera and I really like it. Beside the 6x optical zoom and the 8Megapixels, I like the frame that appears and lets me know when I go beyond the optical zoom and enter the digital zoom. Another reviewer didn't like this feature, but I have used many digital cameras and believe me, this is a GREAT feature. It only says you are going beyond the 6x optical zoom capability. This camera has 3 brightness levels for the review screen - very good in Sunlight on HIGH, but you will sacrifice battery longevity. Most users will love this camera. On the negative - HP advertised a panoramic shot - Maybe. To all users - set your camera to "picture view" mode prior to turning it off. This prevents the LENS MOTOR from activatiing when you accidentially hit the ON switch while placing it in a case. Overall I like this camera.

This camera looks good and I love that it has 6x optical . I find it very hard, if not impossible to see the screen on a day with sunshine. It also drops from 8mp down to 1mp as you zoom. This is something I do not like at all. All of the other features make this camera worth buying, I just wish the MP's didn't drop and that the sun wouldn't make it impossible to see the screen.

I used to have a M537... but the 3x optical zoom sometimes was not enough. That was why I looked at the Mz67 with the double of optical zoom and better digital (48x total). You will be sorprised when you use it... believe me. In addition, you get 8MP of resolution... than is much better when you are trying to print big photographs.
